Error while loading library fileQueries

Hello,
I am running runInstaller to install 10g database on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3.
I get the following message: "There was an error while loading library fileQueries". This message is displayed after selecting "File System" radio button in the "Specify Database File Storage Option:" screen.
A response to this issue is highly appreciated.
Thanks,

You might want to post this on the Linux forum under the "Technologies" category.

  • OUI-10151:There was an error while loading library: globalVarQueries

    Hi,
    I am installing Oracle Database 11g version 11.1.0.6.0 on RHEL 5.3 x64.
After completing all the requirements & pre-reqs, when the installation starts it throws the following error :
OUI-10151:There was an error while loading library: globalVarQueries
For this I selected "Stop installation of this component only"
After this it gives the following error:
OUI-10151:There was an error while loading library: generalQueries
For this I again selected "Stop installation of this component only"
But, after this the previous error keeps getting repeated over & over again, until installation stops, with the following error:
OUI-10133:Invalid staging area. There are no top level components for Linux available for installation in this staging area
Please help me out here, guys.

  • "Error while loading library. DBQueries."  installing OCMS

    Hi,
I am trying to reinstall OCMS on a linux box and I get "Error while loading library. DBQueries." just on the DB details screen.
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance.
    Fernando

    Hi Fernando,
which version of OCMS you are using? which installation mode did you choose, development mode or install on an existing application server?
I have experienced the same problem when trying to install the OCMS 10.1.3.4 on a Linux vmware machine, after I re-created a complete new linux image, and the installation worked fine.

While installing CRS i am getting this error , and the solution accordint to metalink is

The staging area was not created properly.
An example of staging area for an AIX5L box is as follows:
    /stage/core/AIX/5L/64bit/rdbms/10.2.0.1.0/dvd1/database/stage/Queries/generalQueries
The oraInstall.err shows that the OUI is trying to locate the file under central inventory directory which should not be.
SolutionTo resolve this issue, the staging area needs to be recreated.
what is staging area & how to recreate it?

It would appear that the installation media is either missing the file or it is corrupted. Try downloading the installation files again or re-extract them to another location.

  • [SOLVED] Error while loading shared library libboost_system

    bash: xx: command not found
    Current version of libboost_system.so.1.56.0
How do I figure out which package/command is looking for the previous version of libboost_system?
Edit: I have the command-not-found interface from pkgfile installed.  That explains the xx above.

    pactree --reverse boost-libs
told me that AUR package command-not-found was dependent on this.
I removed command-not-found (which I don't really need after putting in the pkgfile bash "command-not-found" hook)  The AUR command-not-found more than likely did not work.
I think I discovered this a while back, but couldn't make the connection of what was going on.  Still confused but happily arching away.

  • Error while loading application

    Hi,
I'm not sure this is the right forum, but I try anyway.
I'm trying to use a 3rd party Java application Unico (just use it, I don't develop anything of that) that after working for weeks, suddenly refuses to load at startup, and returns an error like "Error while loading application" (no error code number no other hint about the problem).
The tests that did not work: 1. I installed the Unico again, 2. I created a new login and installed Unico in that login, 3. I started in safe mode (pressing shift at startup) - I always had the same message and loading aborted.
The only workaround I found is to use an external startup disk, that I fortunately had available to face cases like this: when starting the system up from that disk Unico WORKS, not only, but I can even use the same application in my internal disk that does not load otherwise.
My first conclusion is that something wrong happened to my system on the startup disk that prevents loading a Java application. The user Library seems to make no difference.
So my questions to the Java experts are:
    - what in the system could suddenly block the loading of a Java application ? where should I look in the system (I can use the terminal and know something about UNIX) to fix this ? could this be caused by a permission problem ? (it looks a lot alike, but repairing permissions in Disk Utility didn't help) if so where are the Java support files stored in the Library and System Library to check and compare between the good and the bad system ?
    - is there a better workaround to this problem, other than starting up from a different disk ?
    Some additional info:
    - the application Unico is freely provided by the Italian tax organization, so there is basically no support to use it...
    - Unico requires Java 1.3.1: my system is constantly updated/upgraded and it runs the most recent release that is 1.4.0 (I guess...) and anyway worked very well till a week ago.
    - since the last time the application had worked I installed two (non Apple) packages: the TomTom (GPS navigator) setup application, and new Epson printer drivers for my new printer.
    - in all cases I repaired permissions and I also verified the disk with the disk utility
    - Unico does not uses printers (it creates pdf files instead) and does not use USB, which in turn is used by both the Epson driver and the TomTom app.
So I cannot connect the Unico malfunctioning to this new SW except for the fact that I cannot find any other answer...
Thanks to anybody having any suggestion about
    Piero

I made some research: it seems to me that most (if not all) the Java machine is in the /System/Library/Framework/JavaVM.framework folder: but I found no evident difference in the file permissions between the good and the bad system (see my previous posts).
There are other locations where there are java related files: eg in Javaconfig.plist (in /System/Library/Java) that seems to name the locations for all components of the java machine. I checked some files in /usr/bin referenced in the .plist: again no difference.
Something "could" be a clue; just before the crashing point the Unico (java) program causes a message in the Console:
"[JavaAppLauncher Warning] Specifying a specific version for JVMVersion 1.3.1 is deprecated. Use the more general 1.3* instead."
This would be a clue... except that this message appears also when the program loads without problem (in the "good" system where it works). So it is more a warning.
Another clue is the message that appears in the console in the "good" system when the Unico loads correctly; and this seems really an error message (whateve it means):
"Index 1 for 'pxm#' 2062 out of range (must be between 0 and 0)
Attempted to read past end of 'pxm#'(2062) resource"
The funny thing is that when this message appears, Unico loads with no probem, while in the "bad" system it doesn't even get to this point.
So in my opinion both messages are irrilevant to identify the problem.
    Or not ?
And again my main question is: what in the system could suddenly block the loading of a Java application ?
    Thanks for any hint
    Piero

Without knowing what you have installed or what modifications you have done it is not possible to say what goes wrong. Like I previously mentioned, you may have installed an incompatible version of a core system library. Sorry, I'm not going to read any installation manual to find out what you might have done wrong. You may need to reinstall the complete system or just the popt installation package.
Based on my experience people sometimes seem to misunderstanding the concept of software version requirements, which are always minimum version requirements and does not mean, for instance, software made for gcc 4.1.10 does not work under 4.1.12. You cannot simply upgrade or downgrade core system libraries without affecting the installed system. Using YUM to install software will check this and prevent you from breaking your system. RPM does not check any dependencies and hence can break your system beyond repair.

  • Lsnrctl: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.9.0:

    Hi
I copied across an /opt folder from a Redhat 9 server that has Oracle 9.2.0 to a Redhat AS 4. I then set the oracle variables, hoping after that I can get the database up and running. However I get this error, when trying to start the listener or sqlplus:
lsnrctl: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.9.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Is this library part of a certain RPM? Where can I get this RPM or this lirary?
    Thanks.

I copied across an /opt folder from a Redhat 9server that has Oracle 9.2.0 to a Redhat AS 4.
So you are saying that you copied the whole
ORACLE_HOME to a new server?? Are you using same
username/group on new server?? Did you relink the
binaries after copying it? What is the output of ls
-l on ORACLE_HOME dir and as what user you are
    running lsnrctl command??
Daljit SinghYes I copied the folder that has Oracle_Home and datafiles.
i have created the oracle user.
How do I relink the binaries?
    I run it as oracle.

  • Error while loading shared libraries: libglut.so.3: cannot open shared

Hi, I bought the new Humble Bundle today and downloaded the tar.gz file for Fieldrunners (which is supposed to work under linux)
"error while loading shared libraries: libglut.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" is the message I get when I put ./Fieldrunners into konsole after copying the fieldrunners folder into /opt
    I have freeglut-2.8.0-1 installed
    This is the README:
    This is Fieldrunners for Linux.
It was built under Ubuntu 12.04 but is known to work in other distros.
The only external dependancy is the freeglut3 library.
    To install:
copy the fieldrunners directory (executable and game assets) to /opt
copy the .fieldrunners directory (user options, achievements and saves) to your home directory.
If you don't want to copy the fieldrunners directory to /opt, you can likely start fieldrunners from any folder and it will attempt to find the assets in the same folder as the executable.
The executable /opt/fieldrunners/Fieldrunners will create the .fieldrunners directory in the home directory if not found.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, there is no PKGBUILD file in the tar.gz

    My Fieldrunners says:
cannot open audio device (Device or resource busy)
    Fieldrunners: pcm.c:928: snd_pcm_state: Assertion `pcm' failed.
... so I have to kill pulseaudio first (or use padsp). After that (with alsa), it has choppy sound. 1 second sound, one pause...
Spacechem is windows binary + a wine'ish blob (that just freezes on my machine), comes only as rpm/deb and seems to insist to be installed in /opt (AND some files in /usr/share). The included .exe doesn't work with native wine either (without further adjustments at least).
Doesn't really look good at all so far, this bundle.
    edit:
Also: Uplink seems to be unplayable on a big resolution Display without workarounds due to its small font...?
    Spirits says:
(Spirits-64:14143): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon 'image-missing' for stock: Fatal error reading PNG image file: Incompatible libpng version in application and library
... but seems to work fine at a first glance (safe for a missing picture in the launcher which isn't really tragic).
    edit:
( Aaaand, now I notice I'm in the wrong thread and/or forum. Where did that generic "is the bundle working?"-thread go? Stupid multi-tabbing xD )

  • Error while loading shared libraries: libg2c.so.0

I just installed g77 and compiled some program I wrote for a computaional physics class. They also compile / run fine with xlf90 and xlf95 on a mac.
But here, on my intel box I get this error:
    [ryan@dogma Desktop]$ ./a.out
./a.out: error while loading shared libraries: libg2c.so.0: cannot map zero-fill pages: Cannot allocate memory
I know there is plenty of RAM available too.
    Any ideas?

Check for  Task #2299 — gcc-g77 creates "bad" executables in the bugtracker.  The maintainer has posted a gcc-g77 package to test.  I will test it tonight but another user said that it corrected a problem with octave about the libg2c.so.0 library.

    Hi,
    I'm trying to install SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 under SUSE_LINUX Enterprise Server 10 (x86_64).
First to all I'm trying to install Server part. So I navigate under the CD installation: /Master_Data_Server/LINUX_X64/MDM/bin/  and then execute ./mds-r.
The following error appears: error while loading shared libraries: libxerces-c.so.26: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
    libxerces-c.so.26 is located under /Master_Data_Server/LINUX_X64/MDM/lib/
    Could you please help me?
    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your comment Shiv, Yes I know that MDM 5.5 is out of standard maintainence but anyway our business scenario requires SRM-MDM 2.0.
If anyone finds the same error I mentioned, It has been solved using ldconfig -v in the library directory of choice.
I'd like to ask another issue: Right now We have the following error after executing ./mdis-r or ./mds-r:
Could not open language resource file "LangStrings/ImportManagerCommon.lang". Try setting the MDM_HOME environment variable.
Could you please help me how to do if?

Yes, that's true, libnnz10.so does not exist, it happened something similar with the library libclntsh.so.10.1, I only have a libclntsh.so, with a softlink from libclntsh.so.9.
maybe the brtools imagine I have an oracle 10?
I specified a 9.2 Oracle during the installation!
    Many thanks, Mario.

    Installation of what?
Clearly the BRTOOLS are version 700, so, even when you specified that Oracle 9i was to be installed the BRTOOLS delivered are the mentioned version and you
must install the oracle 10g instant client or
replace the version 700 by version 640
