Error while making joins between ODS in a Infoset

I am getting these 2 errors while making a join between ODS In InfoSet
1).Incomplete ON conditions in an outer join
2).Invalid ON condition for left outer join (ZSDO015)
Please help what to do?

Check both ODS's are having a common Infoobjects are not i.e. same name and datatype and length.

Error while loading data to ODS

Hello BW folks ,
I am getting an error while loading data to ODS from R/3 data source.
The error message is " Error in PSA".
We have deleted yesterday data from PSA for the related infosource/data source successfully .
Since then this error is occuring. Previously data upload was successful.
In Detail tab of monitor we are getting error message in Request option ( red Mark )
and the same request is not going to R/3 .
The related Job itself is not present in R/3 .
This looks very strange and new to me .
Could anyone help me in rectifying this issue ?

I tried to replicate the data source once again and activate the transfer rules in BW Production by running program in SE38 = RS_TRANS* activate all tranfer sturctures , then I got an error message that one infoobject is added to transfer rules in BW Production .
But interestingly the same Transfer rules do not have this infoobject in BW Development server . So I create once again a request for Transfer rules in Dev and transported it to BW production.
and This solved the problem
The error message in Monitor was " Error in PSA " and then request itself was not going to R/3 . But the real issue was with Transfer rules. So after rectifying it we have solved the problem of data upload.

Error while making iview with visual composer

I am trying to make an iview usign visual composer.
In the document that i have for making the iview , it says that when you have the bapi list you need to drag and drop the bapi to the empty iview pane . When i do so it gives me the following error ...
"Portal request failed

What do i do ?

I tried to do so research on the problem and it is being talked about in a thread on the forum . They ask to refer to the sap note 765461 to resolve the mdi reference . In the note they ask you to refer the installation guide of the installed version of EP . I have EP 6.0 SP2 . The installation guide says the following ...
7.1.2 Adding References
To enable some of the features in the portal environment, add references to reference file.
To add a reference:
1. With a text editor, open the file:

I did the same ....but now my server is not starting . By chance i didn't keep a bakup of the file which they asked me to delete .
Now what do i do ?
I think i am stuck up badly here .

It is not that bad. By deleting you are recreating that managers.bin file during startup based on the reference.txt and library.txt (recollecting from my memory). This could also happen if there is a typo or some special characters in the reference.txt
I don't know what J2EE patch you are at, but after PL22 you can actually add the reference using the "add reference" command from the administrator console.
could you please send the error you are getting? To revert back the simplest thing is removing the line you have added and restart.

I am using J2EE engine 6.20 SP2 .I tried to get the server started by the following two methods
1) I removed my entry in the reference.txt file and then start the engine by running go.bat from the required path .
2) I got the original file managers.bin which i deleted and then placed in the required path and restarted the server
Both the options didn't work .
I am not getting any error when i restart the server. When i run the batch file go.bat it starts the console and shows me the various managers loading . After it shows the Clustermanager loading , it stops and gets stuck .
Not sure what should i do now .Is reinstallation the only solution ?
Is there a solution from the administrator console ?

No you don't need to re-install. Try the following.
1. First start the state controller by runing go.bat in the following directory.
/usr/sap/xxx/j2ee/cluster/state/go.bat
You get the message waiting for cluster manager.
2. start the server in a different window
/usr/sap/xxx/j2ee/cluster/server/go.bat
You get the message waiting for cluster manager
3. Start the dispatcher
/usr/sap/xxx/j2ee/cluster/dispatcher/go.bat
Please let me the know the error messages.

I tried to do what venkat suggested . Infact I had mailed him the snapshot of the screen when i start the state controller as he suggested . For other people in the forum this is what is happening . When i start the state controller it displays an error and then the window closes immediately . I have managed the screen shots somehow and in those i could find two messeges in the begining and the end which could be useful for debugging the problem ...they are
1) [DBMS]: ID3004:DB file header do not match exception .
com.inqmy.services.dbms.server.interfaces.DatabaseException: Error while opening database ...
2) ID000544: Error statrting service dbms. DBMS service not started properly due to: Errro while opening database
[Framework -> criticalShutdown] Service dbms startup error !
After the state controller window closes i run the server in a different window and i get a message waiting for the cluster manager as suggested . Now i start the dispatcher and i get the same messege there as well ie waiting for the cluster manager .
What is to be done now . Is this information sufficient to suggest me something ? Please let me know if you require any other information .

make sure that the Data source is replicated and tranfer rules r active.
And also check whether the all transport requests r imported properly.

Record filtered because records with the same key contain errors     RSM2
and many so on...
source system is ok no problem with the connection part.

Probably your records are not Unique, while you have told the system they should be.
Try to move a discrimination characteristic from data fileds to key fileds.
Or
Try to set the "duplicate reords allowed" setting in your datasource (tab "General Settings" Delivery of Duplicate Data Recs. = Allowed)

Look at MMBE and see if GR blocked stock stock is 0 (NOT the column that is just "blocked stock"). If it is zero for this material / plant then something has gone wrong, the PO was eiother not posted with a 103 originally, or the stock has already been released with a 105.
Have a look at MB51 for this material and check through the movements so far.
Also have a look at ME2M with a selection parameter of WE104 or 105.

When i'm loading the data from ods to further ods, i'm facing an error while activating the data saying that 0ref_doc_no consists of invalid characters.Also it is saying that Error when assigning SID.
I'm unable to see the long text for further information.

Hi vijay bhaskar,
first go to RSA1 -> go to datasource -> search for the data source with name "8<old DSO>". Go to dispaly and click on PSA button on top. Now you can see PSA data request. in the bottom left you select error records and display. now you will see all the error records. go through each and every records and see what is the special characteristic in that record and copy that special character in notepad. After collecting all the special characters in notepad, goto RSKC -> paste all the special characteristics from note pad. execute it.
Now, go back to PSA, delete the request from PSA. Schedure the infopackage to load the data. Now, will not see any error like special characteristics.
I hope you understood and can handle your issue.

Pricing error while making Credit Memo

Dear Gurus,
While making credit memo with reference to credit Memo request i am getting pricing error on the basic price.
Please note i am getting this error only while making credit memo under this conditions
1. while using Invoice as reference while making credit memo request and than making credit memo with reference to credit memo request.
Please note i am not getting this error while the credit memo request is not refrenced to Invoice.
I am using the same document types for both the scenarios. I have checked copy control and the Pricing type maintained is "D".
Please let me know what could be the possible error.

I think you are using ECC6.00,whether you activated new G/L accounting then you have to define the leading ledger this option is supporting GAAP.
Path is SPRO-Financial Accounting(New)-Financial Accounting Global Settings(NEW)-Ledgers--Ledger
You will check the configuration activities.

Error while extracting data from ODS using Infospokes - URGENT

Hi all,
I am extracting data from an ODS using infospokes and nothing fancy, no selection criteria but I am getting an error message saying
Syntax error in row3(-> long text) Msg id = "RG" and msgno is 102
Any ideas on how I can see what is the exact error and how to debug this?

Symptom
Error message RG102: 'Syntax error in &1, row &2 (-> long text)' appears in the request log of an InfoSpoke.
Reason and Prerequisites
The data source is an ODS object and the extraction mode is 'delta'. The cause of the error message is that the ODS extractor is unable to select the request ID (InfoObject 0REQUID) from the change log of the ODS object. However, the request ID is mistakenly provided in the field list of the ODS object on the InfoSpoke maintenance screen. --
Solution
Delete the 0REQUID InfoObject from the field list of the InfoSpoke and activate the InfoSpoke. As of the patch mentioned below, the request ID in the template tab is no longer provided.

Import Support Package 16 for 3.0B (BW3.0B Patch 17 or SAPKW30B16) into your BW system. The Support Package will be available once note 571699 with the short text "SAPBWNews BW 3.0B Support Package 16", which describes this Support Package in more detail, has been released for customers.

Import Support Package 10 for 3.1 Content (BW3.10 Patch 11 or SAPKW31010) into your BW system. The Support Package will be available once note 571747 with the short text "SAPBWNews BW 3.1 Content Support Package 10" has been released for customers.
To provide information in advance, the notes mentioned above may already be available before the Support Package is released. In this case, however, the short text still contains the words "preliminary version".

Error while init load of ODS

HI Gurus,
I deleted entire ODS data.And now want to do reinit load.But i am getting below error.
From where I can see and delete delta queue.How to do that resetting status and all..
Error for init package :
Deltas have already been loaded for the init. selection of request REQU_4EBWUXD8QKYLD7YV635G17CCR. A second initialization is therefore not possible with these selection conditions.
Procedure
If you want to carry out a new initialization, you have to choose selections that do not overlap.
If you want to repeat the init. for the same selection, you have to delete the delta queue in the source system, and restart the delta process.
Choose the menu entry 'Init. Selections in the Source System' from the Scheduler.
Please help.

While deleting that init request I get an warning..
If the delta process of your DataSource stipulates serialization, you can no longer post this init request or any subsequently requested delta requests to the DataStore objects that were filled previously, after you have deleted the initialization and reinitialized. This is because old inits and deltas still exist.
The DataStore object recognizes that new inits and deltas have been created that are not yet posted in the DataStore object and requires them to be updated. Otherwise the selections of the new inits overlap with the selections of the old inits that are still in the DataStore object, so that they cannot be posted.
Does this is somthing critical..How should I go ahead..?

Error while loading data into ODS

Hi we have BI for NW04S and CRM4.0. While loading data for a CRM ODS , I have received a error message which I never seen before. Yesterdaya data load was smooth and I only see issue while loading data today
The error message in the monitor is as follows
"Port 'A000000003' does not exists in the table of Port Description' ( message ID E0, NO 31 ).
have anybody encountered this.

we found the table EDIPOA and found that the port that is missing. It seems that the enytry( row) for our CRM system is missing which has this port as a field in this table.
Not sure whether to manually populate it or it's part of the source system repair etc.
