Error while Migrating the custom routines in Transformations

Dear All,
I am in the process of migrating BW 3.5 to BI 7.0.I migrated the Standard cubes and DSO's from BW3.5 to BI 7.0 flow successfully.
But while migrating the transformations which are having the custom routines,I am facing the below errors.
The data object "COMM_STRUCTURE" does not have a component called BIC/ZGROSSPRI".But the routine contains BIC/ZGROSSPRI.
I tried to change the BW 3.5 terminology to BI 7.0 terminology.(Like COMM_STRUCTURE replaced by SOURCE_FIELDS).But unable to solve.There are nearly 20 custome routines written in all transformations.
Can any one guide me who faced the same tyepe of problem?

the above error says the role not found to the particular responsibility. Please let me know how to rectify the above error.

Hi Keka
I am assuming that responsibility does in fact exist in the database? If not, you will need to create it.
Also, try putting double quotes around the responsibility name.

Error: Function not available to this responsibility , change responsibility or contact ur system administrator

While accessing the custom forms in release 12i we are facing the popup error and the form is not getting opened up: "Function Not available to this responsibility. Change Responsibilities or Contact your System Administrator"...
I check the custom top path in $APPL_TOP/admin/adovars.env... its fine there..
but the $Apache_top is not there...
can u plz tell me the solution....

If ur referring to forms, u need to search in appropriate forum, as this forum is only for OAF queries, and if its realted to OAF page, check the the function of oa page is attached to the specific responsibilty .

Check if the 3.X data source still active or you see a NW2004s datasource in the data source tree for the corresponding source system. This error message comes but the migration sometimes succesfully ends.

Application error while testing the custom application

Hello Experts,
I've an Enterprise Apllication project named TEST (which is of standard source code of icss)
The test.EAR file is deployed successfully.
While testing the custom application link I'm getting the below error,
like,

                  I think it is application.xml file. for example it should be look like this after modification.

Error while releasing the custom table

Hi Everyone,
Modified the User defined include files of a particular table for one of our requirements ( In the function group of the table maintenance generator ) and encountered an error while releasing the request to Quality server, the error disappeared after regenerating the table, this seem to be happening only when the user includes of a table maintenance is introduced/modified, why the release doesnt work when there is any change in the maintenance generator?,

After modifying, you need to re-generate everything so that, the changes come in effect.
Trying to release without re-generating will surely result in error.

Error while installing the Business Content 2lis_03_bf Transformation

Hi,
I have installed total 0ic_c03 cube and successful.
Data is populating correct. When ever Releasing the Request error getting which Local objects not captured in request which are there in 2lis_03_bf info source, For this Error I have deleted the objects from info source and activated and activated transformation. But those object are there in the ROUTINES and disturbed. KEYFIGURES Routine are disappeared.
Again when have installing the BF infosource and transformations from Business content is getting below error. for Ref below screen shot.
Please advise me : urgent

Hi,
it seems like issue with ABAP routine.
Can you try to get detail error by doing syntax check.
Also if you are in BW 7.31 - I notices while releasing it shows error. I will suggest ignore it and just released. it worked for me.
You always have option to recapture the transport and resend the same objects, if earlier failed.

We are in the process of DSD implementation at customer place. We are facing the following isuse , your help will be highly appriciated
This is with respect to an error we are facing when the collection clearing
process iin final settlement Run.
The details of the same are as follows:
Transaction code: /DSD/SL_COCKPIT
Area: Payment Posting
Error: Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 001 not filled
The customer line item of the invoice being cleared has been assigned
the profit center as part of the document splitting at the stage of
invoicing to the customer.
The bank account/cash account to be posted at the time of clearing in
DSD settlement process is not capable of being provided as input nor
available for configuration in the DSD section in IMG.

Error while compling the custom agent

I am trying to develop custom agent for ifs using jdeveloper. I have attached following .jar file with project.
repos.jar,vbjorb.jar,release.jar,xmlparser2.jar, util.jar, tools.jar, adk_1081.jar, lclasess1.jar
I am getting following error while compiling.
Error: (50) constructor IfsAgent() not found in class oracle.ifs.agents.common.IfsAgent.
Error: (86) method required, but value found.
Can anybody help me to fix this error?

Looks like the call to your agent is missing some parameters.
Here is the constructor for IfsAgent:
IfsAgent(java.lang.String name, java.lang.String[] args,
java.lang.String parameterTableSection, oracle.ifs.agents.manager.ServerManager manager)
This is the description from the iFS Online Resources whitepaper section on creating a simple agent.
The constructor for an Agent always contains these 4 arguments. The arguments are stored in the ServerManager definition file and are
passed to the Agent class when it is instantiated at runtime.
name is the name of this Agent.
args are any custom arguments you want
to pass to your Agent.
sectionName identifies the section
specfic to this Agent in the common
ParameterTable. In practice, it is
the name of this Agent.
manager is the name of the ServerManager
that hosts this Agent at runtime.

Error While Submitting the Custom Report

Hello,
We have requirement on reports 6i to customise a standard report 'Sales Journal By Customer'. Requirement is we need to add a new fields in the layout.
We have copied the standard program and parameters and defined a new custom program and also added the required additional parameters. But when we are trying to submit the custom program it is giving the following error:
APP-FND-00806: The default value RTT is invalid for the Reporting Context segment. Your default value will be ignored. Please inform your system administrator that:
Add the value RTT to the value set for segment Reporting Context, or choose another default value in the Key Flexfield Segments form or Descriptive Flexfield Segments form. Use the Edit Concurrent Program or Define Report Set form for Standard Report Submission report defaults.
Value RTT for the flexfield segment Reporting Context does not exist in the value set FND_MO_REPORTING_ENTITY.
Standard report call a query inside the rdf.
written in parameter sql stmt.
SELECT ENTITY_NAME, ENTITY_ID
FROM FND_MO_REPORTING_ENTITIES_V
WHERE REPORTING_LEVEL = $FLEX$.FND_MO_REPORTING_LEVEL
AND ROWNUM = 1;
now we are change this to
SELECT ENTITY_NAME, ENTITY_ID FROM FND_MO_REPORTING_ENTITIES_V WHERE ENTITY_NAME = 'RTT';
we are making hard code.
we are making a request and attach that report to that request and run the request.
We have done this customisation at our local instance but we are facing the same issue .We are unable to figure out the issue.
Does any of you have any idea why we are getting this error.
It would be great if you can help us regarding this issue.

CSSimport.bat error: while migrating the Shared Services groups and users

Hi,
I am trying to migrate the shared services native users and group from 9.3.1(on server A) to 11.1.1.3(on server B)
- I have taken the export in CSV format from 9.3.1 using CSSexport.bat.(export.csv) -Successful.
- I have copied this on the 11.1.1.3 server and changed lil details like removing the admin user etc.
- When I am trying the import this on 11.1.1.3, I am getting the below error:

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (com.hyperion.css.common.CSSLogger).

Aborting program...
- There are not log or error files geting generated - The only error recieved , is given above.
- I have made the necessary changes to the impotexport.properties file on 11.1.1.3 before starting the CSSimport utility.
Can you please let meknow what should I do to overcome this error.

First thing I would try would be on the 11.1.1.3, try and run an export, if it works then run the import on the same file, this way you will make sure you have the version 11 utility working.
Once you have done that then you can move on to the 9.3.1 export file.

IRQ timeout error while executing the custom personality fpga in veristand

Hi,
I have gone through the below link and created a custom fpga code to write analog output and digital output through NI 9269 and NI 9472 card respectively.
NI Veristand add on - fpga configuration editor.

i was able to import the .fpgaconfig file in veristand system definition window.
When i execute the code, i am getting IRQ timeout error.
Could any one help me how do i debug this error?

Error while transporting the Custom Selection Screen to Production

I have created a custom selection screen based on selecting the HR REPORT CATEGORY which gets selected under attributes section of an Executable Program.
Every selection screen got replicated till quality but at Production unable to see the same selection screen

This happened to me once.
I have checked my transport logs and found that everything was successfully transported in order and without errors. But the selection screen was not coming in Productio system. So i have tried activaing and generating the program once which solved my problem.

Error while saving the custom list created in visual studio 2010

Dear all,
when I am saving the list; I am getting the following error. I do not know where this could be wrong.
Any inputs will help. Now I am recreating a new list - thinking that the objects used in the earlier projects might conflict. Also few lists in the list tab - were throwing error of the same type - which is not functioning well.
