Error while performing Organisational Assignment

Hi ,
Administrators - Rec, Pay, Tim have been created in the group Spb.
While performing the action - organisational assignments rec(personnel admin), Tim (time), pay(payr admin) of the group spb have been assigned to subarea - 225, Business area-224 and payroll area-46
The error is found to be 225rec does not exist in T526 entry.

No it is not possible. However this issue is resolved in SOA Suite 11g PS3. Where it uses BPEL WS 2.0 standards.

Error while performing Risk Analysis at user level for a cross system user

Dear All,
I am getting the below error, while performing the risk analysis at user level for a cross system (Oracle) user.
The error is as follows:
"ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection(): com.sap.engine.services.connector.exceptions.BaseResourceException: Cannot get connection for 120 seconds. Possible reasons: 1) Connections are cached within SystemThread(can be any server service or any code invoked within SystemThread in the SAP J2EE Engine), 2) The pool size of adapter "SAPJ2EDB" is not enough according to the current load of the system or 3) The specified time to wait for connection is not enough according to the pool size and current load of the system. In case 1) the solution is to check for cached connections using the Connector Service list-conns command, in case 2) to increase the size of the pool and in case 3) to increase the time to wait for connection property. In case of application thread, there is an automatic mechanism which detects unclosed connections and unfinished transactions.RC:1

This part is just the place in the program where the error occured, but why the error occured is mentioned earlier in the dump.
Maybe you have a too big number in the field and hence a field overflow, maybe you have a character instead of a number in the field.
Read the dump from the beginning. if you dont know how to read a dump,then try to get help from any local Abaper.

Error while performing Oracle 11g upgrade

I am facing error while performing an Oracle upgrade from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.2.
DBUA was disconnected with error Ora 1092 Oracle instance terminated.
When tried to run manual upgrade it is showing the below error,

But, as far as I understand that you didn't completed DB upgrade succesfully. Under this circumstance, you shouldn't change ORACLE_HOME variable to 11.2.0.2. I suggest you that complete Oracle upgrade (restart DBUA) and do not execute upgrade procedures, manually.

--> it says account determination is found.
Then i clicked the Flag button(Release to accounting) in VF02.
It gives below error in status bar

Error while trying to assign a role via CUP in Portal

Hello Experts,
I am trying to create a request to assign a role in EP via CUP ( 5.3)
EP Connector is working fine as I have imported Portal roles etc
SPML service is working fine
I have done the mapping in the Provisioning tab for Portal system
logonname in portal is email address of an employee
So the I have done the following mapping
AC Field Application field
email addres-Stndard logonname
And I have the following error while trying to create a request which I grabbed form the log
ERROR Exception during EJB call, Ignoring and trying Webservice Call
LinkageError: loader constraints violated when linking com/virsa/cc/xsys/webservices/dto/WSRAInputParamDTO class
ERROR com.virsa.ae.core.BOException: Exception from the service : Invalid System

Any suggestions would be really appreciated

Kevin,
I was able to replicate your issue and there is a setting in the CUP that you have to disable, Goto the config tab in the CUP and select NO for the "Risk Analysis On Request Submission " under risk analysis.
Issue here is you did not create a connector for your EP in the RAR, I believe you have the above mentioned parameter to yes and so when you are submitting a request CUP is trying to do the risk analysis but RAR was not able to find any System, so it is thowing an error.
You can resolve this issue in two ways, one is to create a connector in RAR or the other is to disable the setting in the CUP.

Connection error while performing basic settings SOLMAN 4.0 SP12

Hi All,
We are currently facing a problem while performing Solution Manager 4.0 (SP12) basic configurations through the IMG Wizard. Within the "Initial Configuration Part I" section, an error while connecting to SAP is obtained (This is the full error message "Error creating communication to SAP Service and Support"). After checking at TX SM59, it was noticed that the RFC connections SAP-OSS y SAP-OSS-LIST-O01 (what are supposed to be created in previous steps by copying SAPOSS connection) were no created. We created them both manually (also tested) and everything was ok. We started the Wizard again, and the same error was obtained. However, it was noticed that the SAP-OSS RFC connection had been deleted. The system log shows the following:
00789 - Dialog work process No. 000 - XXXXXX - EQUIPO - 1 - SM_CONFIG_WZ - M_CONFIG_WZ_START - T - Transaction Problem - STSK
The same scenario occurs every time the above wizard is used.
It worth to mention that the SAPOSS connection works fine and also, just to perform a test, I was able to download a note correction through the SNOTE transaction.
Where should I check to see what is causing this connection error? Do I missing a previous configuration step?
Also, would be very helpful for us to get an step by step reference guide for SM configuration. We want to be sure we are no missing or mixed up anything.

Why do you start configuration for SP12, although most current version is SolMan 7.0 EhP1 SPS19?

Error while updating the Assignment details using 'hr_assignment_api'

An exception message is thrown while updating the assignment details through 'hr_assignment_api.update_emp_asg'.
The message is 'ORA-20001: HR_FLEX_VALUE_MISSING: N, COLUMN, ASS_ATTRIBUTE6, N, PROMPT'.
Even though a valid value is being passed to the segement,the error is thrown.
I have tested the API in one instance and it is working fine. Recently I have migrated the codes to nother instance and encountered this error. The only difference is that in the newer instance, the segment is mandatory.
One interesting thing is that, When I update the Assignment through application it is successfully saving the record. Then if I use the API to correct the Assignment, it is working fine. The API is not able to update only when the mandatory segment is null.

Error while releasing Billing: Assign HD00 (Frieght) Condition type in COPA

I am getting the below error while releasing billing document.
Assign condition HD00 type in COPA
HD00 condition type is frieght condition type
Is it good thing if we assign this condition type to COPA value field in KE4I? or we should not assign Frieght condition to COPA?

HI Kishore,
To which GL account are you posting this freight condition value? Is that GL created as a revenue element (of category '11'/'12')?
If yes (has to be 'yes', since you are getting the error message), then you don't have a choice but assigning a CO-PA value field in KE4I. The idea here is, if you have created the GL as revenue element, then you intend to take it to Controlling module for further analysis. Thus, making your FI/CO reconciliation easy.
If you do want to carry this value to CO-PA for analytical reporting then don't create that particular GL (assuming you are posting freight to a separate GL) as a revenue element. That said, it does make sense to carry this value to CO-PA and in your present case, you don't have a choice as the message which you got is an error message, which you can't circumvent.

Finally , I was able to redeploy the process. After comparing new files with old files I observed an activationAgents entry in bpel.xml, which was not present previously.

PL/SQL Function call error while reading or assigning returned value

I am getting the following error while tryih to read the value of the PL/SQL Function. I am calling a function in one of my PL/SQL Packages passing mutliple IN parametes and the function returns some value back. Now on BPEL side when I try to read the return value I am getting an error:

Even though in the console when I check the Invoke Output Parameter it does shows me a valid value being retuned by a Function but when I am trying to Assgn this value to some variable using Assign Activity I get the above error.
Even though all goes fine but looks like I am not able to read or assign the value returned from the Function.
So just wondering if this even works as to me I have a very simple example and that seems not to work. Function is called successfully and is returning the value as I can see it in the BPEL console but when tryin to read or assign that value to some other variable I get the above error.
Any ideas?

This issue has come up a lot. The problem is with a mismatch between the version of JDeveloper and SOA. You'll encounter namespace issues if you use 10.1.3.1 in combination with 10.1.3.3 (or 10.1.3.4). You MUST synchronize both JDev and SOA to 10.1.3.3 or 10.1.3.4 (mixing 10.1.3.3 and 10.1.3.4 is OK). We changed when going to 10.1.3.3 by adding elementFormDefault="qualified" to the generated XSD. We used the default "unqualified" in 10.1.3.1. So you'll encounter namespace issues unless you're using 10.1.3.3 or higher JDev AND SOA. The fact that I see <*db:*...> tells me that you're using 10.1.3.1 JDeveloper. The correct solution is to upgrade your components.

Error while performing Exit Action

Hi All,
Getting error message "Organization Reassignment not permitted" while performing the exit action. I have checked the personnel area attributes and everything seems to be same. But in the infotype view indicator it is showing the value as 10.
Can we change IVWID value in se16 - > pa0003 table to 40 instead of 10. If yes can anyone tell me how to do it.. By doing this will the error message "Organization reassignment not permitted" will be resolved?
I have read the documentation of the error and i feel it seems to be the issue of "IVWID"..
Can this be dealt with????

Tthe entries in IVWID feauture for country grouping india is 40 . The value defaulted is correct. Is there any other way where we can change the infotype view indicator to 40 instead of 10..
Can you suggest me a solution which would not impact other application's...
