Error While Printing the Report

HI All,I have joined this forum recently. I found this forum so helpful. I have one query which is: I am using crystal report 10 with Dot Net 1.1, I have created one web report which consists of 19 pages. Once i press the print button on the report after previewing it shows me the error reporting screen of windows. I have checked in event viewer it gives me the following error detail:The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Internet Explorer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: iexplore.exe, 6.0.2800.1106, printcontrol.dll, 10.0.0.533, 0003bb45. Can any one helps me as i am totally stuck in that. Thanks in advance.

Try the following if your printer is a network printer
1. Add Printers - select Local Printer
2. In the Add Printer wizard, select "create a new port" option and select "TCP/IP" as type
3. Write the IP address of the network printer in the "Add standard TCP/IP Printer Port wizard". The port name becomes IP_<ip addr>. Click Next.
4. Select the printer and printer type in "Add Printer" wizard.
5. Select a driver and Write a printer name. This completes the setup. Use this printer name to print from Oracle reports.

I am getting this error message while printing the report on Network Printer.
"REP-1849: Failed while printing"
Reports Server is not installed on my machine.
On shared printer, it has no problems.
Platform is Win2000. Report Builder 6.0.8.11.3

I am trying to run the Report in Bex Analyzer. and once I enter the value for the variable, it gives me message that "Element is not correctly define (please check query)" and when i click on the error it gives me detail message as below :

Additional elements that do not have the same dimension, such as quantities and amounts or amounts and ratios, are added to element Sales Qty Gallons .
Procedure
Check your definition.
If you still want to use this addition, you can suppress the dimensionality of one or both subexpressions by using the 'NODIM' operator. The system then interprets this or these subexpressions as nondimensional numbers.
In the executed query, you can use the Key Figure Definition function to analyze element Sales Qty Gallons .
Now the thing is I am already using "NODIM" operator to add those elements. and I m not sure why this error is coming up now because I have created this query a while ago and it wasnt giving me any error at that time but now I have make some changes into it and it;s giving me this error while running the Report. But the thing is I didnt change anything in the element for which it;s showing me error.

Naitik,
There are two or more key figures in your report. They are defined by different dimensions and somewhere you have a formula with both these key figure.
Edit your query and select the Check Query icon. It will tell you which calculation you have the problem with. Edit this calculation to see which key figures are present.
If the formula is logically correct, best thing to do is to put a NODIM( ) on your key figures that make up the formula, and then change you formula to look at the NODIM( ) version.
That will fix things for you,

Error while generating the report on Test env (for divide condition)

I am facing the below error while generating the report in test environment while the same report is working fine on Prod environment.

Actually the error is coming for the below logics:
COUNT(DISTINCT RMA.RMA)/COUNT(DISTINCT User."User Name")

Can anyone please tell if I need to make any configuration changes as the same logic works perfectly fine on production but not on test.

Source: DNS error.
Why this error is coming.

All the configurations are in proper shape.
We need to change any IP adresses or proxy settings in the Internet explorer (Tools -> Internet options -> Connections -> LAN settings -> etc.,)
Do We need to configure any server address for getting the output to display on web pages in BI 7.0.
EP is not configured over here. Is that causing the problem.

i am getting the below error while executing the report FAGLB03 and double click on the balances to view the report on line item wise.
There is no active info structure for field catalog SAP_FI_DOC_003
Message no. Q6504
Diagnosis
The system wants to access the Archive Information System. It uses the field catalog SAP_FI_DOC_003 to do this. However, there are no active archive information structures for this field catalog.
Procedure
Create an info structure for field catalog SAP_FI_DOC_003 or activate an info structure for this field catalog.
Please could some one help me on this issue.

Getting error while exporting the report

Hi,
I am facing error while exporting the report. Getting below error.
"No data can be exported because there are no rows.Operation failed."
how come this error is coming even though my report contains data.
please do the needful.
i am using the version discoverer 10g.

I am having the same problem. I found this article in which the user was exporting 100,000 plus records and had the same issue exporting (Discoverer workbook exported to excel error - No dta can be exported and they were able to fix it by adjusting two memory settings in their pref.txt file. However, in my report there are only 1,100 records with eleven columns being returned. I export much larger reports on a daily basis.
Originally, the report was returning records and when I would go to retrieve all records it would tell me that all the rows could not be returned and the data may be incomplete. After scrubbing my SQL I no longer get that message, but the report still will not export and I get the same error as you.
I have not tried the pref.txt settings fix but may try it today to see if that is a workaround. I will then have to evaluate whether it is a good fix or just a band-aid.

Error while Saving the report

Hi,
i have created some reports which are working fine,
but now i am facing some errors while saving the files.
Also the reports does show only one record while there are many records in the database.
The error messages are as follows:
REP-1051; Unable to save document to file ' F:\Database\Reports\report1.rdf '.
REP-1070: Error while opening or saving a document.
Please help me to find out the exact problem.
Also tell me how can i show all the pages of Database records in a report( while one record on each page)

As for the error while saving, you have only one possible thing to try. It it doesn't work, you're sunk.
Assuming the report was not being newly created, i.e. that it was opened from a file on your system, then rename that file to something else (Report_001_OLD.rdf, for example). Then try to save it - Reports will think it is a new file to be saved rather than an existing file to be updated.
Again, if that doesn't work, and if you do not have the auto-save option turned on, then you're sunk. You will have just lost all of the work you've put into that report.
As you'll discover, Reports is not the most robust application ever written.

Error while opening the report or sheet in the desktop

While opening the reports it gives error as " Failed to Connect Database".
In Some reports it gives error as "Unable to Load EUL item".
Then we check the Menu bar, Tool ----> Options --->EUL.
We found, it is giving Default EUL as blank.
Now it is not allowed to open any sheet as well as not allowed to create new report.
Can any one tell how to resolve this problem?

the error is "No matching records found 'Queries' (OUQR) (ODBC -2028) [Message 131-183]"
I have previewed the report using Preview external crystal report option and is running perfect.

Error While Running the Report(WIS 10901)

Hi Champs,
I am facing an Error while running my Report which is "The Database Error Occurred .The Database Error Text Is :The Supplied XML is not Valid [Measures].[41RK910OO62ME7S8AOB9IEJ7F].WIS 10901.
This reports was running fine earlier but Not we are facing this issue and wen I remove that measure whose key is mentioned in the Error above then the Error is thrown for other Measures which are available in the Query.
What could be the Possible solution for this ?

Run time error while printing ALV report

Hi,
At the time of printing a report output we get a dump GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED.
The printer used here is LOCL.
The length of the report increases dynamically according to no. of months given in range.
In report , there are 3 static columns & no. of columns increases by 2 for each month. System is printing the report for 1 month ie. (3+2) columns . but if no. of months increased to 2 ..... no. of columns also increases by 2.... in this case system is giving dump.

I am facing a Problem while importing a CrystalReport in SAPBusiness One, it displaying an erroru201CNo matching records found u2018Queriesu2019 (OUQR) (ODBC -2028) Message 131-183u201D , and there is no use of this table OUQR in the query.
Kindly let me know the solution.

I am having the same issue. I am not able to import Crystal Report.
the error is "No matching records found 'Queries' (OUQR) (ODBC -2028) [Message 131-183]"
I have previewed the report using Preview external crystal report option and is running perfect.
please guide ASAP.

500 Internal Server Error while accessing the report on portal

All,
We are on BI7. have few queries on portal and recently while accessing the queries user is getting the 500 Internal Server Error. The error message is like below:
500 Internal Server Error
Failed to process request; contact your system administrator
BEx Web Application " I_Qnc()2ex.........(etc) does not exist.The application was either ended by a timout or an error occured.
Recently most of the users started getting this problem and it is on a high resolution to be resolved.
Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

This is mostly TimeOut Error.
However, 500 Error applies to variety of problems within the server.
Please make a back up of your query and restrict it further so it populates less data.
If the report is running properly for less range of data, that's a timeout issue.
Otherwise you will have to recheck the query. Mostly these are timeouts because, in general production data is high and if there us less restriction, the query OLAP time and front-end time will be more than optimized.
