I managed to sort the issue.
It is not related to the ADS configuration.
I had to assign all the default roles of process to the user /role.
Thanks a lot for reply.

    Hi Raja,
    something is wrong with your context in the component controller. Please verify your context structure with the structure in the document, which you mentioned. Do you really use value nodes and attributes? Is the mapping to the view correct and also the binding between the interactive form ui-element and the context nodes of the view?

    Hi Hanoz,
    As you said, I have created an online application with 2 input fields. Name and CostCenter. I am saving the blank pdf on my desktop. In another project i have 2 views. Upload and Form View. In Upload View, using a FileUpload, i am able to fetch the pdf from desktop and on action of submit, it goes to Form view. The Form is opening with the Data which i entered Offline. Thatz because i gave (Interactive Form Mode - "UsePDF". If i give UpdateDatainPDF, it is showing a blank pdf. Hence i used "USEPDF". After that i have a Submit button to which an "ONACTIONsubmit" is mapped to Interactive Form PDF submit property.
    OnactionSubmit()
    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("hai");
    String name = wdContext.currentTravelDataElement().getEmployeeName();
    String costcenter = wdContext.currentTravelDataElement().getCostCenter();
    wdThis.wdGetAPI().getComponent().getMessageManager().reportSuccess("Form submitted: Name="+ name+ " costcenter="+ costcenter +"");
    PDF
    Name - Form
    CostCenter - 1000
    Initially if i click Submit, Output Comes as ......
    hai
    Form submitted: Name=null costcenter=null
    If i enter some space inside the name field like name - "Form " or even "Forma".....
    the output  comes as
    hai
    Form submitted: Name=Form costcenter=1000 (though i have used interactive form mode=usepdf).
    or
    hai
    Form submitted: Name=Forma costcenter=1000    (though i have used interactive form mode=usepdf).
    If i enter some value inside the form field, how it is able to take the correct value on action submit. I tried many blogs. But i am not able to fetch the values unless i change the field values inside the form? What else can i do? how did your project work? Can you please help in resolving this issue?
    Thanx and Regards,

    Regards,

    Hi Uma,
    SP 14 should normally be OK, SP 15 is currently attached to the Note. They are downward compatible. I suggested reinstalling after properly uninstalling, because it has fixed problems before.
    I also looked at your original post again, which mentions the read time-out. This may be related to a general server setting. See my suggestion in this thread:
    SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out - Context Is Too Large
    If all this doesn't help, you'll probably have to create a message on component BC-SRV-FP.
    Kind regards,

    Please Help me friends...

    hi ,
    pls use  the ZCi layout for the adobe interactive form .
    Need to Insert the web dynpro script to the form.
    Note: Make sure to upgrade the Adobe Interactive for ZCI type using SFP_ZCI_UPDATE transaction
    Subsequently, check whether the update of the ZCI was successfully completed. To do this, open your form in the Adobe LiveCycleDesigner and check the version information of the ZCI script. The ZCI script is available on the "Hierarchy" tab page under the "ContainerFoundation_JS" name. The version must be800.20080513120641.469612.469346.

  • Conflict with Adobe Professional while opening Adobe Interactive form

    Hello Experts,
    We have developed an Adobe Interactive form which is being lauched from the Portal. Every functionality is working good.
    Some of the users have Adobe professional on their machines and when they try to launch the Adobe Form, the form gets automatically opened in the Adobe Professional. Pls note that I have set the file types for PDFu2019s to open with Adobe Reader.
    However this setting is getting overwritten and the form opens up in Professional always. Some Interactive form functionality is not supported by Professional, thus those users are not able to use the form.
    Has anyone had this Adobe Read-Professional conflict before? Please let me know how this can be corrected. I am have not been able to find much help until now.
    Thanks,
    Liz

    Hello Juergen,
    Thanks for your reply. The Interactive form functionality works correctly with user machines not having Professional.
    What is the Adobe Professional version that you are using currently? Maybe I should test with the latest version.
    Appreciate your help. Thks, Liz

    Hi Srikanth,
                    Did u mapped pdfSource & dataSource Properly. If yes check whether your Server Configured to run Adobe Forms. See wether ur ads settings are as per the following document
    Tutorial on Installing Credentials and Configuring ADS
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f03414f8-d4ce-2a10-d4b6-ab201b329d98
    f yes ur ADSUser password
    must have expired follow the steps to reset the password
    SAP NetWeaver '04 / 2004s
    1. Log on to the Visual Administrator.
    2. Follow the path:
    Server -> services -> Security Provider -> User Management tab
    3. Display the user ADSUser.
    4. Change the ADSUser password. (You can use the same password.) Check the checkbox
    'No password change is required'.
    Note: The below mentioned technical user role is available for the ADSuser as of
    NetWeaver 2004s SPS 7.
    5. Log on to 'User Management' of your AS Java:
    http://<AS Java server>:<http port> -> User Management
    6. Display the user ADSUser.
    7. In the 'Security policy' field, change the setting from 'Default' to 'Technical
    Users' and save.
    (For more information on the 'Security Policy' option, see the Release Notes in
    the SAP Help Portal at
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/he
    lpdata/en/44/04265816343fdbe10000000a11466f/frameset.htm.)
    After changing this option, the ADSUser password will not expire.
    Note that this feature is not available for SAP NetWeaver '04
    If not take the help of  System Administrator to configure it first.
