Error while registering as External Candidate in E Recruitment

Helli
We are on ECC eph3 , and E Recruitment and ECC are in two different server. this is the background.
While registering as the External Canidate we are encountring with a error message "You are not authorized to assign roles "
I have maintained service and dialog user in both ECC and EREC system, have maintained settings related to SICF...but in vain
pls let me know if u have any inputs on same.
The moment i click onto Register button i get a error message "You are not authorized to assign roles".
Kind regards
Poornima

Hello Poornimma,
I assume that the unregistered service user assigned to the SICF registration service has not a role assigned which allows the assigning of roles.

  • Error while registering SMS portlet

    Hi,
    portal version 9.0.4.0.99
I am getting the following error while registering SMS portlet using the external application SMSExternalApp.
SOAP: Caught SOAPException (SOAP-ENV:Client): For input string: "3782 "
    [java.lang.NumberFormatException]
Illegal External Application data, Could not authenticate the user to the Push
Service. Please reenter the correct External Application data for authentication
I followed the instructions as per "Installation Guide for SMS Portlet Beta" available in OTN. I was able to deploy the SMS Portlet provider but while publishing the SMS portlet and creating the external application "SMSExternalApp" it fails. Please let me know what is the cause for this error.

    Hi Ramya,
In order to be able to use the OracleAS Portlet for SMS, you need to get yourself a trial/registered account with the OracleAS Wireless Service Team:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/wireless/messaging.htm
Once you have created an account, you can use the access codes specified by the wireless team, for the username/password fields.

  • "Error while registering the Java 2 Runtime Environment registry keys"

"Error while registering the Java 2 Runtime Environment registry keys"
I am getting the above error when trying to install the 1.3 JRE (installed with the 1.3 plug in which I need). As part of my development I have been installing and uninstalling the JRE multiple times. Then, I got the above error when trying to install it, and now it appears to be installed but I cannot uninstall it. When I try to uninstall it, it just remains, and when I try to install it again I get the above error. I have tried cleaning up all javasoft registry entries, but it doesnt seem to have helped. Can anyone help me either completely uninstall the JRE so I can do a clean install or help me get rid of the error above when I install. Is there some registry entries I should be looking at? Anything else? this is quite urgent as I need to test my applet with the plugin installed and not installed - and I currently cant uninstall it. Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help
    Aaron

I am getting this same error message when trying to upgrade from 1.3.1_03 to 1.3.1_19.
I have multiple versions of jre's and jdks on my machine.
Anyone else seen this problem or know how to resolve it.

  • Error while registering Oracle JDBC Diagnosability MBean

    Hi All,
I get the following error (pasted at the end)when trying to use the OracleDriver class to create connections.
    I am using JDeveloper11g-11.1.1.2.0, and
    JDeveloper11g-11.1.1.2.0/wlserver_10.3/server/ext/jdbc/oracle/11g/ojdbc6.jar.
I read other posts with similar errors; the recommendation was to update the jar to the latest patch. But that still does not seem to work.
    Any help/pointers appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
did you enable the permission at the jvm level?
its' done by adding the following lines to your java.policy file under <JRE_HOME>/lib/security
    grant {
    // JMX Java Management eXtensions
    permission javax.management.MBeanTrustPermission "register";
    ciao,

    Hi,
I am running version 1.2.1 of SQL Developer (build MAIN-32.13). I have a local copy of Oracle 11g running on Windows XP. I am running version 1.6.0_03 of java.

Is this something I should worry about?

I got the same thing using SQLDeveloper shipped with 11g. It is every annoying since sqlplusw.exe is not available anymore, neither iSQLPLUS or SQLPLUS.exe is good enough all of the sudden that I found not much choice of accessing the database on windows ...

    Hi,

When I see the queue status, the queue status is always idle, even after I activate the queue.

could anyone tell me what could be wrong?

    Hi Christian,
    thanks for your reply.
we are using 7.2 SP02. Do you think it could be the version that has some issues with custom mapping functions?

  • Error code -22: Error while registering

    Hi Guys.
I'm new to NW Mobile 7.1.
I'm able to run developed applications and see data on physical devices (PDAs).
I'm also able to deploy and run the same applications on the NWDS Client (Simulator) BUT SEE NO data, because It can't sync.
My question is very simple: How can I set up NWDS Mobile Client (Simulator) so I can get data?
When I get to the Device Information screen (NWDS Mobile Client Simulator),values for Device Name and Device Id are blank
After a sync, the folowing messages appear on my console:
    Windows XP
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Connected to the server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Sending logon data to server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Waiting for response from server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Receiving data from server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Error code -22: Error while registering
I know that it is a must to setup a Device Name with one that exists in DOE (then Device Id is assigned during registration with DOE). But how can I place a value on Device Name? Should I set it up? then, Is it by copying a .propierties file under a MI/Folder or something?
I can't navigate my applications on the simulator so I need to deploy the files to a physical device every time I build, and this obviously takes more time than just running it on the simulator.
In just a few words, it is driving me nuts.
    Thank you in advance,
    David.

    Hi,
if you have used MI7.0 you expect: sync a device and it is registered. This does not work in Mi7.1
In MI7.1 you need to create a device for a user first, before you are able to sync and get data.
To do this, open the Mobile Administration Portal in MI7.1, go to Administration and create a device for your user. Once this is done, you need to Enable the device.
If the device is enabled, in status INITIAL and has the correct user assigned, you can sync this device with the MI server.
    Hope this helps!
    Regards,
    Oliver

  • Error while Registering

    Hi All,
When I am trying to sync my Mobile Client to the Middleware, I am getting this error:
ERROR: Error occured on server: "Error while Registering"; error Code 22
ERROR: Error occured on server: "Error while Registering"; error Code 22
    <b>Syncronization Successful</b>
Can anybody suggest me why this is happening?
    Ankur

    Hi Ankur
Are you by any chance using Mobile 7.1 client? In that case this error occurs when you havent registered the client device before synchronizing.  Registeration should be done in the Web Dynpro Portal available in the server and once you have successfully registered the device, sync from the client.  This might solve the issue.
    Best Regards
    Sivakumar.

  • Error while registering JDBC and some more problems (11g)

    Hi there.
I'm new here and using Oracle,I've been studying SQL Server at the school and I'm going to have Oracle 9i lessons soon.
I've installed Oracle 11g here but things aren't going well yet.
When I open Oracle SQL Developer,I have the message "Error while registering JDBC Diagnosability MrBean.
When I try to do a connection with SQL Developer I have the error "The network device could not establish the connection",I have an Oracle 11g Book reference for studies, and I'm doing exactly how it shows me. (maybe it will happen until the first problem be solved)
The last one, when I use SQL Plus I can't get a sucessfull login. After the installation I could with scott and SYSMAN,but after a reboot I can't any longer.
How can I get it working now?
    thanks

Well I don't know what happened but it's working now. I did an ipconfig and noticed that the IP address was incorrect. The gateay IP address was also incorrect. I changed it to the values posted in ipconfig. I opened up SQL Developer and was then able to make the connection. I went back and changed the IP addresses back to the old values. I then opened up SQL Developer again. I was expecting to see the refuded connection message but instead it connected. I have no idea what to think now. Can SQL Developer connect to a non local database?
I tried to connect to another remote SQL Server but got xxxx invalid username for some reason. I know the username/password is correct.
Lastly, I tried to do a quick migration of a simple table. It stops at the generate step. After hitting close buton. It asks to log back onto SQL Server.
I noticed that the schema being used gets created with dbo_schemaname
i.e. scott would be user dbo_scott
I tried to create a user called dbo_scott and it still stopped at the generate step.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help

    Hi,
The ESB server tests its connection to the ESB console at startup. If you look at the MSG_TEXT, you will see the hostname and port of the URL the ESB server is using are both set to null. I haven't seen this before, but it looks like your installation isn't quite right.
Does the BPEL server work or the Application Server console ?
