(WWC-43176)"* However, i am able to access my provider's test page, i tried using ip instead of host name but its still in vain. I replaced pdk jar files too...
The URL i am using for accessing is :
http://server01/application_one/providers/producer
I get below messages when i access test provider page through above URL :

  • Wwc-43176 error while registering a Provider

    Hi,
I am not able to register any of the providers, it gives me the following error
Error: The provider URL specified may be wrong or the provider is not running. (WWC-43176)
I am able to look at the Registration URL by running index.jsp from JDeveloper. I also deployed it on a standalone OC4J & Application Server OC4J and got the Registration URL. When I try using the URL, I get the error
Resolution in this regard will be very helpful

    hi all,
I have the same problem: i can access the provider test page, but when i going to register the provider in the portal i got this stupid error message.
The solution in my case was to update the pdkjava.jar and the ptlshare.jar files from my .ear file to the ones from the oracle 10g as instance (path_to_oracle_10g_as/portal/jlib/*)
    hope this help :)

  • Error while registering web provider

    Hello
I have a web provider developed in JPDK. I have deployed it successfully to an Standalone OC4J and I can access a page that says something like that:
    Oracle9iAS Portlet Application Test Page
This page lists the portlet providers available in this web application. Use the registration URL in combination with the provider's service name to register the provider. Click on the service name link to view the provider's test page.
    Registration URL http://myserver:8888/intranet/providers/
    Service Name
    provideredd
    providergenerales
    provider_edd_desarrollo
But when I try to register the provider in portal with the registration URL I got the error:
An error occurred when attempting to call the providers register function. (WWC-43134)
The following error occurred during the call to Web provider: 500: Internal Server Error (WWC-43147)
I'm sure my OC4J is up and running because I can acces the url http://myserver:8888/intranet.
    Please help me.

I have a similar problem where I have portal installed on a machine called portal.mgmt, which is on a network that users cannot access. Connection to portal.mgmt can only be made from our local network via a machine called install.mgmt. In a sense I guess it is acting like a reverse proxy or firewall.
I have run ssodatan on portal providing the install.mgmt URL and can access most of Portal pages navigating to http://install.mgmt/ except any of the servlets. Actually the only servlet I can access is the sample IsItWorking servlet.
In my java jserv.log file I am getting the following error:
    java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer
    at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketAvailable(Native Method)
I can only assume, from reading the Troubleshooting guide as mentioned above, that portal.mgmt is trying to make a separate connection to the install.mgmt box and is failing.
The network between portal.mgmt and install.mgmt is very restricted as to what can be run and what protocols and ports can be used. Is this restriction causing the problem?
I see that Jserv uses port 8007, is this port used to communicate between machines?
Are there any ports that need to be opened?
I have tried using another machine called ogg as the firewall/access server and get the following error as well.
    java.net.UnknownHostException: ogg
    at java.lang.Throwable.fillInStackTrace(Native Method)
Any help on this one would be very much appreciated, as I am very stuck at the minute.
    Regards,
    Garry

  • A strange error while registering WSRP provider

    Hello,
I have production version of AS (10.1.2) with portal upgrated to 1.4.
I've installed standart WSRP samples in dedicated OC4j instance.
When I've tried to register the provider for the samples, I've got this error:
Internal error (WWC-00006): No default region found (WWC-43000)
Do you know, what is a region and where can I configure the default one?

I've tested the server with Oracle remote provider
    (http://portalstandards.oracle.com/portletapp/portlets?WSDL),
and it was successfully registered, and portlets are working.
It seems, that that the problem in the provider in that new
OC4j container. (But wsrp-istall.jar had no errors, and I'v got
    regular WSDL descriptor).

Any pointers in this regards will be highly appreciated.

    Rajesh,
Could you provide some more details about your code? I will try to look into possible causes of the error. One thing you may try is subscribing to the Knowledge Exchange on http://portalcenter.oracle.com. Then you could post your code in your community folder and everyone would be able to test it out.
Of course, this means you must be willing to share your code with everyone.

  • Error while registering SMS portlet

    Hi,
    portal version 9.0.4.0.99
I am getting the following error while registering SMS portlet using the external application SMSExternalApp.
SOAP: Caught SOAPException (SOAP-ENV:Client): For input string: "3782 "
    [java.lang.NumberFormatException]
Illegal External Application data, Could not authenticate the user to the Push
Service. Please reenter the correct External Application data for authentication
I followed the instructions as per "Installation Guide for SMS Portlet Beta" available in OTN. I was able to deploy the SMS Portlet provider but while publishing the SMS portlet and creating the external application "SMSExternalApp" it fails. Please let me know what is the cause for this error.

    Hi Ramya,
In order to be able to use the OracleAS Portlet for SMS, you need to get yourself a trial/registered account with the OracleAS Wireless Service Team:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/wireless/messaging.htm
Once you have created an account, you can use the access codes specified by the wireless team, for the username/password fields.
    Thanks,
    Harsha

    Thanks in advance

No, This is happening with oracle defined portlets. But , I am also not able to add any navigation page as a portlet to any of my page. Is it any database back up issue? as I am testing something in UAT , in dev environment everything is fine.

  • "Error while registering the Java 2 Runtime Environment registry keys"

"Error while registering the Java 2 Runtime Environment registry keys"
I am getting the above error when trying to install the 1.3 JRE (installed with the 1.3 plug in which I need). As part of my development I have been installing and uninstalling the JRE multiple times. Then, I got the above error when trying to install it, and now it appears to be installed but I cannot uninstall it. When I try to uninstall it, it just remains, and when I try to install it again I get the above error. I have tried cleaning up all javasoft registry entries, but it doesnt seem to have helped. Can anyone help me either completely uninstall the JRE so I can do a clean install or help me get rid of the error above when I install. Is there some registry entries I should be looking at? Anything else? this is quite urgent as I need to test my applet with the plugin installed and not installed - and I currently cant uninstall it. Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help

I have multiple versions of jre's and jdks on my machine.

  • Error while registering Oracle JDBC Diagnosability MBean

    Hi All,
I get the following error (pasted at the end)when trying to use the OracleDriver class to create connections.
    I am using JDeveloper11g-11.1.1.2.0, and
    JDeveloper11g-11.1.1.2.0/wlserver_10.3/server/ext/jdbc/oracle/11g/ojdbc6.jar.
I read other posts with similar errors; the recommendation was to update the jar to the latest patch. But that still does not seem to work.
    Any help/pointers appreciated.

    Hi,
did you enable the permission at the jvm level?
its' done by adding the following lines to your java.policy file under <JRE_HOME>/lib/security
    grant {
    // JMX Java Management eXtensions
    permission javax.management.MBeanTrustPermission "register";

we are using 7.2 SP02. Do you think it could be the version that has some issues with custom mapping functions?

  • Error code -22: Error while registering

    Hi Guys.
I'm new to NW Mobile 7.1.
I'm able to run developed applications and see data on physical devices (PDAs).
I'm also able to deploy and run the same applications on the NWDS Client (Simulator) BUT SEE NO data, because It can't sync.
My question is very simple: How can I set up NWDS Mobile Client (Simulator) so I can get data?
When I get to the Device Information screen (NWDS Mobile Client Simulator),values for Device Name and Device Id are blank
After a sync, the folowing messages appear on my console:
    Windows XP
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Connected to the server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Sending logon data to server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Waiting for response from server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Receiving data from server   Level: 1
messageReceived in ContainerSyncEventListener: Error code -22: Error while registering
I know that it is a must to setup a Device Name with one that exists in DOE (then Device Id is assigned during registration with DOE). But how can I place a value on Device Name? Should I set it up? then, Is it by copying a .propierties file under a MI/Folder or something?
I can't navigate my applications on the simulator so I need to deploy the files to a physical device every time I build, and this obviously takes more time than just running it on the simulator.
In just a few words, it is driving me nuts.
    Thank you in advance,
    David.

    Hi,
if you have used MI7.0 you expect: sync a device and it is registered. This does not work in Mi7.1
In MI7.1 you need to create a device for a user first, before you are able to sync and get data.
To do this, open the Mobile Administration Portal in MI7.1, go to Administration and create a device for your user. Once this is done, you need to Enable the device.
If the device is enabled, in status INITIAL and has the correct user assigned, you can sync this device with the MI server.
    Hope this helps!

    Oliver
