Error while running irca.sh script.

hi all;
I try to install SOA suite10.1.3.1 on linux. as a pre-requirement, I should create ORABPEL, ORAWSM and ORAESB schemas in our production database, but I get following error when I run irca.sh script:
manyas@ /oracle/IMDB/102_RAC #./irca.sh
Integration Repository Creation Assistant (IRCA) 10.1.3.1.0
(c) Copyright 2006 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/tip/install/tasks/IRCA
does anyone have any idea?
thank you.

path to java and classes should be to java and SOA suite first. then database...
looks like you are picking up a DB classpath first.

  • Error while running the ant script of fusion order demo -Infrastructure.jws

    Hi All,
    I was trying to run the store front application.
    As i was trying to run the scripts to create the tables, stored procedure, schemas etc, the execution of the ant script failed with the following error:
    The apache Ant log reads as follows:
    *[echo] USER_CONTEXT Package Created*
    compileImagesApp:
    *[javac] Compiling 3 source files to D:\11g\ADF-11g\FusionOrderDemo_R1PS1\Infrastructure\DBSchema\classes*
    BUILD FAILED
    D:\11g\ADF-11g\FusionOrderDemo_R1PS1\Infrastructure\Ant\build.xml:51: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    D:\11g\ADF-11g\FusionOrderDemo_R1PS1\Infrastructure\DBSchema\build.xml:312: D:\Jdev11g\oracle_common\modules\oracle.javacache_11.1.1 not found.
    Total time: 2 minutes 26 seconds
    I ignored the above error and when i tried to run the StoreFrontUI project, i was unable to see the images rendered on the User Interface.
    Can anybody help me as to why this would have happened?
    Is it not getting rendered because the ant script failed @ compileImagesApp? If so, what is the solution for the same?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vijay

    Hi,
    Even after commenting and uncommenting the path for the imageurl variable in the ImageLoaderServiceAMImpl.java, i am getting the following error when trying to build the schema from the MasterbuildScript Project:
    compileImagesApp:
    *[javac] Compiling 3 source files to D:\11g\adf-Handson\FOD_11\Infrastructure\DBSchema\classes*
    BUILD FAILED
    D:\11g\adf-Handson\FOD_11\Infrastructure\Ant\build.xml:52: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    D:\11g\adf-Handson\FOD_11\Infrastructure\DBSchema\build.xml:262: D:\Jdev11g\jdeveloper\modules\oracle.xdk_11.1.1 not found.
    Total time: 59 seconds
    One more observation when i was changing the path in the ImageLoaderServiceAMImpl.java was that, there were lot many errors that were shown in the file:
    Following import statements were erroring out:
    import oracle.jbo.Row;
    import oracle.jbo.ViewObject;
    import oracle.jbo.domain.BlobDomain;
    import oracle.jbo.domain.DBSequence;
    import oracle.jbo.domain.Timestamp;
    import oracle.jbo.domain.Number;
    import oracle.jbo.server.ApplicationModuleImpl;
    import oracle.jbo.server.ViewObjectImpl;
    Can you please provide some pointers on this as well?
    Regards,
    Vijay Swaminathan

  • Error while running the CAT script

    Hello,
    I am running eCATT script that creates test users by copying from source users to target users.
    I am getting following error message.
    Field USLOGOND-USTYP. input value is longer than screen field
    Message no. 00348
    Diagnosis
    A screen field was supplied with longer field contents by batch input.
    Procedure
    Correct the field contents in the batch input data.
    Please advise.
    From
    PT.

    In that case you'll need to go through your script, find the field that triggers the error, and its value and replace the value with the character from the other thread.
    Or you could add it as a variable, like the variables you've already defined. I do not know about the risks of deleting fields/values from a script
    Anyway, this has now become a catt or ecatt question rather than a security issue, so you may find the appropriate guru's in one of the other forums....

  • Errors while running load test scripts in Oracle Load Test

    I am a QA Analyst and this is my first time using the Oracle Load Test application. Acutally this is the first time I have done anything related to load test scripts. The Oracle Load Test version I am using is 9.10.0219. When I run some of the scripts with a user ramp up of 1 user per step, the load tests complete successfully. When I begin to adjust the number of VUs per step to 2 or more, I begin to get some of the following errors. By the looks of these errors can you provide any feedback as to whether these are issues with OLT or with the application I am running the load test against? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    John

    Hi,
    It looks like an application issue since you are getting a HTTP 500. The other errors relate to the fact that ti can't resolve some dynamic values in needs to extract from the resonse content since the pages are different (probably due the 500 error).

  • Error while running the VB Scripts

    Hi Friends,
    I am Suresh i need your help,
    When i try to run the below VBscript in SAP it showing the Errormessage saying that "Expected Statement"
    Can you please tell me what is that
    If Not IsObject(application) Then
       Set SapGuiAuto  = GetObject("SAPGUI")
       Set application = SapGuiAuto.GetScriptingEngine
    End If
    If Not IsObject(connection) Then
       Set connection = application.Children(0)
    End If
    If Not IsObject(session) Then
       Set session    = connection.Children(0)
    End If
    If IsObject(WScript) Then
       WScript.ConnectObject session,     "on"
       WScript.ConnectObject application, "on"
    End If
    session.findById("wnd[0]").maximize
    session.findById("wnd[0]/tbar[0]/okcd").text = "fv60"
    session.findById("wnd[0]").sendVKey 0

    Hi Suresh,
    is it possible that you want to start the TA fv60 from the Toolbardropdown ?
    Are you using one mode ore more ?
    if you are in an existing mode and allready in a transaction you have to add a "/o" or "/n"  in front of the transaction.
    lilke that:
    session.findById("wnd[0]/tbar[0]/okcd").text = "/ofv60"
    dont remember now exactly what it was ... (just dont have SAP here at home )
    You can also try to Record the Script per Skript-Recorder (in toolbar the last icon (dropdown -> Script Recorder)
    and than edit the vbs file...
    greetings
    Thomas

    Earlier in the script, the following CREATE statements were called:
    -- Create roles. Create role privilege is required.
    execute immediate 'CREATE ROLE ora_aspnet_Prof_BasicAccess';
    execute immediate 'CREATE ROLE ora_aspnet_Prof_ReportAccess';
    execute immediate 'CREATE ROLE ora_aspnet_Prof_FullAccess';
    If they didn't succeed, that would explain the GRANT errors you see. If you didn't grant the CREATE ROLE privilege to the user, that would explain why CREATE ROLE calls failed.

  • Error while running OMBPlus Script

    Hi,
    I am getting below error while running OMBPlus script.
    +../../../jdk/bin/java[87]: getconf: not found+
    OMB*Plus: Release 9.2.0.4.0
    Copyright (c) 2003 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
    Exception in thread "main"
    I am not even able to run ./OMBPlus.sh.
    Can anyone help me on this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Sachin Bansal

    Hi Nawneet,
    Thanks for the reply..
    I tried the same thing on our server. But there also I am getting the same error.
    Am I missing anything?
    What I am doing is:
    1. Created one .tcl file (deploy_map.tcl).
    2. Going to path where OMBPlus.sh resides i.e.$OWB_HOME/bin/unix
    3.Then I called ./OMBPlus.sh and passed the path of deploy_map.tcl as an argument.
    For e.g. if path of deploy_map.tcl is /abc/xyz/deploy_map.tcl
    Then I would call OMBPlus like below:
    ./OMBPlus.sh /abc/xyz/deploy_map.tcl
    Even if I would not pass any argument then still it should be connected to OMBPlus. But that's not happening.
    Regards,
    Sachin Bansal

  • Error while running OBIA configuration configApps.bat

    I am receiving error while running configapps.bat.
    I have the following wnvironment installed:
    64 Bit windows
    Java 6 (JDK1.6.x)
    Weblogic server 10.3.6 in software only mode
    Ran OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 RCU utility to create BIPLATFORM and MDS schemas.
    configured OBIEE 11.1.1.7
    Installed ODI 11.1.1.7 with All components and “Skip Repository Configuration”
    Ran OBI Apps RCU to create schemas for:
    ODI Master and Work Repositories (DEV_BIA_ODIREPO)
    Oracle Business Applications Components (DEV_BIACOMP)
    Oracle Business Analytics Datwarehouse (DEV_DW)
    Update to MDS schema.
    Installed BI Apps 11.1.1.7.1
    Applied FMW Platform Patches
    Updated BIACOMP Schema with ATGLite patch scripts
    Everything was up and running until now, when i try to configure OBIA via running configApps.bat, it is getting stuck at ODI configuration.
    Also the server seems to be going to idle/suspended state every now and after 5-6 mins of startup and i see this message repeated again and again in server log :
    <Warning> <oracle.mds> <BEA-000000> < The MDS session was created by the ADF framework with a transaction key for its "single flush" feature, and the call to flushchanges is restricted to that framework. This call does not use that transaction key and although working now, will fail with an exception in future. To find the originator of the call, set the log level for logger "oracle.mds.transkey" to FINEST. Note that the ADF framework manages the MDS session created for the request so an explicit call to flushchanges should be removed>
    Has anyone encountered this issue and any idea how to resolve this.
    Appreciate any help in advance ...

    The re-install has been successful. Didnt encounter any issues in any configuration.
    However the waring still appears
    <Warning> <oracle.mds> <BEA-000000> < The MDS session was created by the ADF framework with a transaction key for its "single flush" feature, and the call to flushchanges is restricted to that framework. Also in the log i am getting the following errors as well in the Weblogic server log
    BEA -101020  Servelet failed with exception Java.lang.illegalstateexception: Cannot forward a response that is already committed
    Oracle.as.management.mbeans.opmn  OPMN.queryProcessStatus failed with the following exception  oracle.as.management.opmn.optic.OpticBadConnectionException: Failed to create secure socket for OPMN
    All patches were applied successfully, including weblogic one's.
    Has anyone got any idea how to resolve these issues.
