Error while running OIF Test utility

Hi,
I have installed OIF 11g, configured SP and IdP (SAML 2.0), with Sun LDAP as the user and federation data store. Default Auth engine is configured as 'LDAP Directory' and Auth Mechanism is password-protected.
While running the test utility for the SP initiated scenerio, I get an error.
Following are the steps -
1. Run test utility ( http://localhost:<port>/fed/user/testspsso ) - +"Intiate Federation SSO" page is displayed+
2. Select default values (Auth Req Binding = HTTP Redirect, SSO Response Binding = Artifact) and submit - IDP Login screen is displayed
3. Enter correct login credentials (user id & password) and Sign In - Error page is displayed - *"Error 500--Internal Server Error"*
In step 3, when I enter incorrect login credentials, an appropriate error is indicated. So I guess there is an error after successful authentication, possibly during assertion by the IdP.
The log (OIF diagnostic log) shows the following error message - +"oracle.security.fed.event.EventException: Could not find the AuthnRequest associated to the Assertion"+
I have tried out some changes in config, but still get the error. Can someone please provide any pointers on what could have gone wrong.

Hey Kris,
I have the same issue. Have you been able to solved it? I had solved once by changing the host name to FQDN but we had changed some thing else and it started showning again.

It seems to be a very common error. Try checking your map assignments when the source (from) is empty (null). These mappings with null values may produce the error you are facing...

We have setup the same JDEV patch on 2 machines having the same DBC files and the same application logins as well as the same responsibility keys.
But it is working fine on one machine and we are able to run the test page as well as any custom page that we are developing.
but on one machine we are unable to run even the test page.
Both are also on the same network.
We are struck as we are unable to do any work.
Could anyone please suggest any solution to this.
I have gone through the numerous posts regarding this kind of error, but have not been yet able to resolve.

As per error message, the problem is with the Database connection.
Check again if your using wright dbc file, you can check it through connection string given in the dbc file
and also try connecting the database through sql developer.

While running test OAF page from Jdev, following error accruing. I have Run autoconfig as well.

Errors while running load test scripts in Oracle Load Test

I am a QA Analyst and this is my first time using the Oracle Load Test application. Acutally this is the first time I have done anything related to load test scripts. The Oracle Load Test version I am using is 9.10.0219. When I run some of the scripts with a user ramp up of 1 user per step, the load tests complete successfully. When I begin to adjust the number of VUs per step to 2 or more, I begin to get some of the following errors. By the looks of these errors can you provide any feedback as to whether these are issues with OLT or with the application I am running the load test against? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
It looks like an application issue since you are getting a HTTP 500. The other errors relate to the fact that ti can't resolve some dynamic values in needs to extract from the resonse content since the pages are different (probably due the 500 error).

It must be some issue with your path export.
Have you also generated wlfullclient.jar? and is it available in your path.

Error encountered while running a test case using MTM

Hello,
Has anyone encountered this error while running a test case using MTM 2013?
When I click on OK, the message is again shown until that time wherein the popup error is no longer shown.
When I try to continue to the next pages wherein a modal is being open and I need to enter some data on a text field, the IE would stop working and seems to crash.

Base on the error message, the error is threw by internet explorer.
Does it have the same issue when access that web site/page in IE directly or it just occurs when run tests through MTM?
What’s the version of your browser? You may try it with other browser and check whether it has same issue.

According to your description, you mean that when you run your load test using the Test Iterations way and then get the error message, am I right?
If yes, please you try to close the VS, and then open this VS again. Then clean your load test project/solution and then re-build it, run your load test again check this issue again.
In addition, I suggest you could try to create a new load test and then run it using Test Iterations way check if you get the issue for the specified load test or all load tests.
If possible, I suggest you could share me simple load test for us so that we will further help you.

Basically i am not able to get the point numbr 6 in this blog i.e where do i make the schedulere port entry : -
Open your instanceconfig.xml and add in the scheduler details. This step basically lets the presentation server know about the machine and port details of the scheduler. By default the scheduler port is 9705.
Please help me to add the scheduler port in the instanceconfig.xml .

The fix to this is fairly straightforward.
You have input an incorrect path for the -infile parameter when calling cryptotools.
You entered , -infile OracleBIData_HOME/web/config/credentialstore.xml
when it should be, -infile C:\OracleBI\web\config\credentialstore.xml , depending on the absolute physical path to the credentialstore.xml file.
It looks like you were attempting to use either a Nix (unix/linux) path with the forward slashes or you where trying to use a environment variable for "OracleBIData_Home". I can see from the c:\ that you are on a Windows machine so the Nix path won't work. Also if you are attempting to use an environment variable that you have confirmed is indeed set, then you need to use %OracleBIData_HOME% in the command prompt which would look like %OracleBIData_HOME%\web\config\credentialstore.xml
So to answer your question your command should appear as below if I have accessed your path to the OracleBIData home correctly, you may need to change it based on your installation,
C:\OracleBI\web\bin>cryptotools credstore -add -infile C:\OracleBIData\web\config\credentialstore.xml
Just be mindful of your paths and your backslashes vs. forward slashes.

Not all data can be exported to Excel easily. Especially if the query result is huge or there are special characters in the query results. You may try the most updated version.
