Error while running SDK application in XIR2 server machine

Hi all,
Thanks for your support provided so far.
I have developed a .NET sdk application to extract the metadata from the XI-R2 universe and report files. I'm able to run the application in my machine. But when I run my tool in the server machine which has XI-R2 installed in it, it throws the following error.
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {DCDC6F02-5766-11D0-AF14-00A0C912DCDD} failed due to the following error: 80040154.
I have referred the Busobj.dll and Designer.Dll in the application to extract metadata. These DLL's are embedded along with the application.
Am I missing any Dll's? Kindly help me.

Yes I looked the CLSID, it refers the Desktop Intelligence Application and the following keys under the CLSID are as follows:
1. InProcHandler32-- Ole32.dll
2. Localserver32 -- C:\BusinessObjects\BusinessObjectsEnterprise 11.5\win32_x86 busobj.exe /Automation
3. ProgID -- BusinessObjects.Application.11
4. VersionIndependentProgID --BusinessObjects.Application

I have developed a SDK application using BOE SDK in BO XI-R2 environment. This application queries the CMC and provides the list of objects, users etc.,
While running the application in BO XI-R3 environment, when I invoke the Login button in my application, I'm getting the following Unhandled Exception as
"Could not load File or Assembly: "CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Framework.Infostore version=11.5.3300.0, culture =neutral......."
Am I missing any Dll file to be included along with the EXE?
Can anyone help me in this regard?

Hello Bhuvan,
Do you have BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE) 3.0 or 3.1? The .NET implementation was not released until BOE 3.1, so .NET applications wouldn't be expected to work against BOE 3.0.
Assuming that you have BOE 3.1, then you also have to upgrade your application. An Enterprise .NET application that references the XI R2 (v11.5) assemblies would not be supported for communicating with a BOE 3.1 system.
On it's face, the error is saying that Enterprise 11.5 (XI R2) assemblies are missing. The .NET SDK for BOE XIR2 has to be installed from the Enterprise installation CD. It is not available as a stand alone installer or MSI.
Finally, you've made note of trying to include the Enterprise assemblies with an EXE. BusinessObjects Enterprise is a web based application. SAP Business Objects does not fully support using the Enterprise .NET SDK in Windows applications. It may work, but any issues have to be duplicated in a web application before they'll be accepted for a possible fix. Additionally, since the XIR2 Enterprise .NET SDK is not available in an stand alone MSI it becomes quite difficult to manage deploying the SDK to multiple workstations.

Getting "Error Establishing Socket " error while running the application

Hi,
Can Any one help me as I getting the following error while inserting data into database for after some rows and will insert for some rows then again some error . I googled but but didnt get any proper solution.
Soultion what I got it is
1) turn off windows firewall.
2) change server TCP/IP settings.
3) It will give probelm with windows XP SP 2
I tried all but didnt able to solve that.

CacheException error while running test applications in R12

OA Framework version is 12.0.6. I have downloaded fresh JDeveloper for this OAF version as described in Note 416708.1 (How to find the correct version of JDeveloper to use with eBusiness Suite 11i or Release 12.x) and set JDEV_USER_HOME for its home.
DBC file is freshly generated. I also try to delete slashes in APPS_JDBC_URL in dbc file as advised in [897034 |Cache Exception while running test_fwktutorial.jsp in R12 thread but still get this error.
GUEST user password is ORACLE (Select Fnd_Web_Sec.Validate_Login('GUEST', 'ORACLE') From Dual returns 'Y' and system 'Guest User Password' profile value is 'GUEST/ORACLE'). Any idea???

I'm also encountering same error while running a page in Jdev with OAF version 10.1.3.3.0. I've recently upgraded my workstation from 3.00 GHz Intel Pentium 4 (Hyper-Threaded) 4 to Dual 2.80 GHz Intel Core2 Duo. I did not encounter this error before in my old workstation.
Btw, I'm connecting to EBS R12.
Though I tried running a page in Jdev with OAF version 9.0.3 connecting to EBS 11.5.10 and it was successful.
Please advise.

Hi All,
Created an ADF application and Deployed this application to Weblogic server.
I am getting the below error After deploy into weblogic server while running the application
I am able to run this application well in JDeveloper using the IntegratedWebLogicServer.
The Application is successfully deployed to the Web Logic server.
While creating the domain, I have extended the Oracle JRF classes.
Error
Error 404--Not Found

Hi,
You have not described your application scenario here.
Any way the problem at first glance seems to be at some element where you have applied GridLayout.
Have you enetered any unacceptable values for some of the properties , there?

Error while running Java application using Crystal Reports 2011

Hello,
I would like to ask for your help.
Environment details:
Java based standalone application in Development environment.
Crystal Reports 2011 (no SP applied)
Oracle 11g ( 32 bit client installed)
Win7 64 bit OS.
Workflow:
While running the java application, which will display the reports I am getting the below mentioned error. I guess that is because I am missing the Crystal runtimes (Correct me if I am wrong).
I know that CR2011 do not have any sdks/ jar available for deployment. In this case, which runtimes should I be using? Does installing CR2011 be enough in the development box?
Please provide me the link from which I can download the same.
Let me know if I need to provide more details on this. Any suggestions are most welcome.

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.apache.jasper.compiler.JspRuntimeContext
Please make sure you have all dependent jasper libraries imported in your project.

Are you calling some function module from the BSP page?
If yes, it seems that it is not getting called properly.
Function module has to be remote enabled and called from BSP page as: call <FM> DESTINATION '<destination>'. If destination server is same, use 'NONE' as destination
Or, the problem may be because of mismatch of a data/table type in Function module when called from BSP. In such a case, put a breakpoint at function module and debug to see - at what point, your application fails.

I have installed R12 on my laptop having windows 2003 Server, which running successfully.
In Same machine i have installed Jdeveloper for OAF customization by following 416708.1.
While running test OAF page from Jdev, following error accruing. I have Run autoconfig as well.
There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.
Please try the following:
Open the r12.oracle.com:8988 home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Refresh button, or try again later.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.
You can also see a list of related sites.

Check if the below fixes the issue.
Go to Tools -> Embedded OC4J Server Preferences-> Global -> Startup. Select the option -> Default Local IP Address.
