Error while scheduling report for SAP users

Hi All,
We have SAP authentication enabled in our BO environment. (BO XI 3.1 sp2 FP 2.6 on windows 2003 server).
There are some webi reports based on BW Bex queries that we are trying to run on behalf of certain SAP end users. This we are doing using "schedule for" option.
Now what is happening here is if the end user has logged in once in BO system ,it runs fine. But in case user has not logged in to BO (using infoview etc.) ,it throws error saying "incomplete logon data" . Also if user changes or reset his password in BW and if he doesn't login to infoview after that ,system throws another error "Name or password incorrect (repeat logon)".
Based on these observation, we are suspecting if BO system uses stored SAP users credentials while scheduling report for them based on their last login.
Would like to mention here that we have checked option "automatically import users".
Please advice if this behavior is normal or we are missing some setting.

Hi,
I have try to install Crystal Report for Sap Business One (Addon Versione number 2.0.0.7).
The installatione finish succesfully, but when I started the addOn i retrieve this errore message: External Connection to the dataBase failed. Sap Crystal Addon may not function properly. Please re-run the account setup with superuser login.
I'm logged in Sap with manager (super user), so maybe I have forgot some step in the installation?
I have see the Demo in the Channel Partner Portal, I have note that I have to isntall the CR_Runtime_12_0, but I don't find it, I don't know where I can download this file. I have just installed SapCrystalSetup.exe and registered the Addon like a normal Sap B1 addon.
Where is the error??

You must configure in each cliente Pc the connection with the DATABASE.
You must Know the Database Super User (In SQL Server usually sa, and its password, the standard form SAP Business One is SAPB1Admin)
In Administration > Crystal Reports Administration > Account Setup
The CR_Runtime_12_0 is only necesary to view reports, but isn't necesary to start de addon.

Error while scheduling reports

Hi,
I am trying to schedule a report and trying to send a mail attachment in pdf format.
I could schdule to reports to generate in files and it works fine but when i try to schedule a report for mail i get a following error.
REP-4202: Error occurred while logging on to the Mail subsystem.
REP-4224: Incorrect user name, password, or service profile name.
REP-4202: Error occurred while logging on to the Mail subsystem.
IS this a MAPI client issue? If yes then can somebody tell me how to configure MAPI client.
IS there any other solution for this problem.
I have outlook expreess as my defalut mail system. Also i have microsoft outlook installed on my machine.

Morning Simon,
The source doesn't seem to be showing any error message or explaining anything however the error FWM 02050 might say something. Have you searched the Wiki or Articles about this?
Personally I have not seen this type of error before however it seems that either the source or the layout of the report gets changed and hence it errors out as it does not match with the source.
For example, in the report maybe there is a dynamic parameter which gets changed occasionally or any other report object which has a source linked gets changed.
Does this happen only with one report or all the reports?
Does anyone change the reports?
How many dynamic or static params are there in the report?
How is the report connected (odbc or any other means?)
Does the server react like this with other reports as well?

I think we need to investigate first where the problem is generating from and then find out about this error.

The object with ID , Title "", Kind "" has changed since last query
(FWM 02050)
Cause
The required object has changed since the last query.
Action
Query the InfoObject again.
Maybe the end user is not query the report properly?

Error while pulling report for particular dates

i am trying to fetch report for the first quarter in incident management --> incident analyst i got an error the below error:
On in-depth analysis i found out that this error occurs in the month Jan and Feb 2014 hence i am not able to pull the complete report of quarter. Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

Error while broadcasting report to few users only!!

Hello everybody,
We have a report which is scheduled for broadcasting to all users daily.Report data is hierarchy based.
But, for few users report does not go, in RSRD_BROADCAST_LOG we found following warning i.e. message with YELLOW signal light
'<userid> not usable for Jobstep'.
What is mean by this warning and how to correct it?
I have checked the user profile, his email id is correct and the Comm.Meth is 'INT E-Mail'.

Hi Priyanka,
Just a guess, check a user type for the user for which system shows warning .. I think it will be other than "Dialog". It could be background,communication and some other type. This types of users are not meant for receiving broadcasting .
Try to change the user type to "Dialog" and it should go through.

I am on BO 4.0 SP05 Patch 6. Webi reports are just showing processing but not giving results. When I try to create new report it is throwing java security error.
Tried applet patch upgrade(From link : https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000902752013E) for webi certificate but didn't help.
Please suggest what could be done.

It looks like the adapter engine is not able to register him self on SLD, you have to check in the SLD the "Exchange Infrastructure" domain, you have to verify restarting the J2EE the adapter engine update the entries in the SLD related to the specific XI Domain.
Launch Visual Administrator >> Server >> Services >> SAP AF CPA Cache
Enter the appropriate values for:
SLD.selfregistration.hostname (Use fully qualified hostname)
SLD.selfregistration.httpPort

Possible reason is Adapter engine is not registered on SLD. Check in SLD.
You can also try restarting J2EE adapter engine and update SLD entries specific to XI domain.

Error while doing GR for scheduling aggrement

Dear Experts,
We are facing error while doing GR for scheduling aggrement.
we have done the following steps.
1) Scheduling aggreement in ME31L
2) Released in ME35L
3) Mainatined Sch.Agmt Schdule in ME38 for todays and date 200 qty and other line is 800 qty.
When we are trying to do GR in MIGO system is giving the following message.
Document 5500000152 does not contain any selectable items
can I know what I have missed in the above steps.
Please guide me to resolve this.

Error while scheduling through web service

We have created Web service through WSDL of OBI Publisher. Also we created a web service proxy client to call the services offered by OBI Publisher. We actually want to "Automate the Scheduling of Reports" according to our requirement:
1. We used to schedule the reports manually by giving the parameters(used to populate data in reports) and other fields like select report name, report destination, format of reports ( .pdf, .docx,etc) through Oracle BI Publisher.
2. As there are thousands of permutations of report input parameters possible, so it is difficult to schedule them manually.
3.We also want to schedule report to a particular folder according to some parameter, for the ease of the user visibility.
Above requirements are not currently available with Oracle BI Publisher.
We are getting error while scheduling through ScheduleRequest class.

Crystal report for sap business one problem

Hi experts,
I am facing problem while dealing with crystal report 2011.
I installed sap b1 8.8 pl 10, then upgraded to pl 20. Now again upgraded to 9.0 pl08. Then i installed SAP Crystal Report for SAP Business One 2011.
I seems that it is not integrated to SAP Business One, because i am not able to save my crystal layouts in sap business one.
How can i resolve this issue, please let me know if anyone faced same kind of problem and got solution for that.

Authorization error while configuring TREX for HR - talent search

Hi All
HR team is performing talent search configuration and they are using Tcode ESH_Cockpit. Here while creating, they get this error "Error while preparing".
For one of the failed connectors (eg: HRTMC AES Documents), job log is as given below:

Here they have SAP_ALL assigned and even then they are getting above authorization related error .

TREX also uses gateway programs.
Check with your basis folks or tcode SMGW (go to --> expert functions --> external security) to see whether it is restricted.
