Error while sourcing the environment file

Apps 11.5.10.2
O/S windows 2003 server
While sourcing the environment file i am getting the following error

After this command i am running the following (i am including vc98 directory in the path)
E:\>C:\MicrosoftVisualStudio\VC98\bin\vcvars32.bat
Setting environment for using Microsoft Visual C++ tools.
Actually vcvars32.bat file is under C:\MicrosoftVisualStudio\VC98\bin\vcvars32.bat directory structure
but
in appsora.cmd it is showing the C:\MicrosoftVisualStudio\bin\vcvars32.bat (VC98 Directory is not present in this path)
In contextfile.xml i have not seen any path related to vcvars32.bat.
In which file i have to change this directory structure of C:\MicrosoftVisualStudio\bin\vcvars32.bat to E:\>C:\MicrosoftVisualStudio\VC98\bin\vcvars32.bat
please advice

That SR was raised by my team only.
I have gone through the doc id's given but my Visual Studio directory is more than 8 characters.So Could you please advice, instead of re-installing the visual studio? whether there is any file to change the path from If you already opened SR you have to confirm it wiht Oracle Support
Also,If we have to re-install the Visual Studio .will be there any effect on the existing 11.5.10.2 application?I belive yes it could effect your system until your install process end.
Please confirm all those wiht oracle support via your SR

When i enter all the information for non Blackberry option as i would like to access through ipad, its giving me the error message" Error while updating the configuration files (MOB20003)" Please advise.

Hi Somesh,
If i am not wrong, only a war file deployment is needed to make ipad work.
This happens with URL hitting directly on the Server.
If you want to configure VAS and VMS servers, let us know what configuration settings have been done.

Hello.
I'm having the same problem. It appeared after I made use of many cells (a table of 10x200 cells) with formulas inside them.
Before that, while I was making my tests and only used a few cells and the .XLF file was 4Mb, I had no problem. Now that the .XLF file is 8Mb I see this error appearing (in Spanish):
"Error
Desbordamiento de la función SWF. El archivo SWF generado no funcionará correctamente ya que las dependencias de datos superan los límites de SWF."
Any idea of how this could be resolved (appart from using less data)?

Source the environment file

Shamefully I asked a question similar to this on this forum some time ago. I didnt properly understand it and so I am now going back and forth with an SA in Metalink.
I am trying to follow this instruction:
Log in to the APPL_TOP environment and source the environment file.
What exactly do I do to "source the environment file".
As the APPLMGR user, if I do this:
apcltest@TEST:. oraenv
ORACLE_SID = [apcltest] ?
Should I accept that?
Or should I go to the TEST_databasecl.env file in /oracli2/oracle/testappl and do something there??
I can see the .env file (it is there)....but I am confused with the term "source". To "source" is to simpy verify its there???
Such a simple step is complicating me!

Error while deploying the par file

while deploying an application in NWDS we are getting the error as"operation failed,please make sure that the server is running or check the log."
we have ensured that the server is running,but the deployment is getting failed.
Please suggest tips to deploy the PAR file successfully.

We are using NWDS to create a small application to develop ( for ex jspdynpage)
.while deploying the par file or exporting it to the server,we are getting the error as "please make sure that the server running.HTTPS protocol is not supported,please ensure that this server is not using HTTPS.
the server is running and is shown in green.
we have also disabled the proxy settings.
we have also tried by specifiing the IP of the server in the proxy settings.
the above steps didnt work.please suggest the things to do to make this working.

WebInterface Server - Error while opening the PDF file

Hello,
We are using webinterface to display the MSDS genearated.
Our customers use the link provided to them for displaying the msds.
We imported a few MSDS ( CG36 ), which are in PDF format & displayed successfully on the webinterface server.
However the newly generated MSDS ( Create Report ) from SAP EH&S system are not getting displayed on the webinterface server. We are getting following error message:
Error reading resulitng document from filesystem. Class:
COM.td.ehswww.results.EhsDocument.
Method:getResolvedDocument().This error could have been caused by a misconfigured filter.ini.
We checked and found that the filter.ini file is same on both quality & production system.
We are able to generate & display the report successfully on quality webinterface server.
Problem only appears on the production webinterface server.
We also tried to search for the SAP notes on this issue.
But we could not find out any relevant note for our issue.
Any help in this regarding is highly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your help.
We checked on both quality & production webinterface server.
The Tomcat service is not executed with any specific user.
The system is working fine on quality , we are getting errors only on the production.
We also identified a strange behavior on the production web interface server.
We are able to see files under following menu path:
There are error files getting generated.
I guess these error files are getting generated while converting the rtf file to pdf file.
The resultant PDF file is not getting generated and hence system is giving the error on the webpage.
Can you guide us as to why these error files are getting generated .? What can be the root cause of this issue.? and How to prevent this.?

java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file.
Anybdy knows whats the error?

It means you're using different JDK versions to run OBPM Studio and to compile the classes in your JAR. If you recompile the classes with the same major version of the JDK you use in Studio the introspection should work.

Getting error while installing the .p12 file in keychain access

Hi i am trying to install the certificate.p12 file in Keychain Access's Login section on my mac mini. For each .p12 file it showing "This certificate was signed by an unknown authority". But when i tried to install the same .p12 file on other machine, its got install and showing "This is a valid certificate" Before installing this .p12 file, i was able to install the .p12 file. But to install the new .p12 file, i had deleted all the .p12 files and provisioning profiles. After that i was not able to install any .p12 file on my machine. Can anybody help me on this?

Please check this error message about the image file..
The image file C:\oracle\core\12.1.0.2.0\jdk\bin\java.exe is valid, but is for a
machine type other than the current machine.
"Validating OMS_HOST & EM_UPLOAD_PORT failed."
If the agents are deployed earlier from another OEM12c server, please undeploy them and then try.

BYMONTHDAY is causing the error while opening the ics file in outlook when event is exported from SharePoint Calendar

Hi All,
I am trying to parse the SharePoint recurrence data to get the RRULE for the ics file the RRULE parsed works fine for Yearly and Daily but it causes error when opening the ics file for the Monthly and
weekly recurrence recurrence. I have opened the ics file in the notepad and observed that the BYDAY and BYMONTHDAY causes the problem. If I remove the tag the file opens fine but with wrong recurrence pattern.
Any help will be appreciated.

I see that this is an extremely old post, but I thought I would refresh it with a bit more info.
I wish I had found this post a few days ago. I realized the same thing as well. I don't quite understand the reasoning behind requiring the by day date must be the same as the event date. Another thing with rrecurrence is that if
you pick a day of the week for a recurrence (i.e. Friday), then the start date must also occur on a Friday (I am just casting it as the first Friday of the month).
I have come into this same issue with the BYMONTHDAY. I am currently working on trying to configure an .ICS file to allow for multiple monthly recurrences, but it appears Outlook does not support multiple days within an event (determined by trying
to create an even in Outlook and picking the recurrence option). It seems that you are only allowed to have an event on (for example) every Friday of each month, or the (x) day of each month. You cannot set any other occurrences of any other day
within the same ICS file. Hopefully someone else will find this information useful.

You are going to need to provide more details about this shell script file you are executing and the environment it is in. Beyond being on a Windows box, you have provided none of those details.
If the SQL statement will execute cleanly in SQLDeveloper but not your script, then the issue lies in the script. How do you know the error is that SQL statement? Can your script even "select * from dual;" successfully?
Also, SQLDeveloper (which I don't use) may contain its own libraries for accessing the DB. You probably should consider upgrading to a SQL*Plus client that is at least the same version or later as your database.
Note:
As I recall, xmlgen in 9.2 is now a synonym for dbms_xmlgen. You should change the package name accordingly [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B10501_01/appdev.920/a96612/d_xmlge2.htm#1010709]dbms_xmlgen.getXML

This is not pertaining to a single Project and this was happening with all BPEL Process.
Please help us since it was blocking us to either delete a SAR file from EM Console as well as Deploy the SAR file to the EM Console.

weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceDisabledException: Pool mds-soa is Suspended, cannot allocate resources to applications ..Check server logs to find out why mds-soa is suspended. Make sure that datasource mds-soa is up and running on SOA servrs before deploying an application.

Error while running the Program file(Program Object)

Hi All,
I have created 2 program files in SAP BO 4.0 to send automated mail and to remove the flag file. It is working in my DEV environment.
Last week i have created new environment(PROD) and created same program files. But its not working in new environment. Please fine the below error

Error while importing the epa file..help needed urgently..

Hi,
I am facing a severe problem, I have developed a portal application, designed the pages, iViews roles etc and exported to a file and later downloaded the epa file.
For testing purpose, I deleted my content folder of the pages and iViews from the content administration. But when i tried to import the file, I am getting an error message
" Error extracting the package file. Check the log files for details. "
When i lokked the log file, i found the exception as
" [com.sapportals.portal.transport.ui.ImportComponent] Error while extracting EP6.0 package C:
usr
sap
J2E...
MyEpafile.epa "
and below the erro i found an exception message as "error in opening zip file"
When i tried to extract the file using winzip, I can extract it with out any problem..
Can you please tell me how this happened?

Well, I have solved the problem. But I don't know whether it will be the correct technical way.. Because i have to solve the same under a very little time constraint. The solution is given below,
I unzipped the epa file which i have downloaded using winzip. inside the extracted file, i found a zip file with the same file name and extension. when i uploaded that file, it worked fine with out any problem. I tried the same many times. and each time i got the same results.
Please try this if you are still facing the problem..
