Error while starting Java in cluster
Hi Everyone,
While starting java instance in cluster facing problem.Other instances is working file Database , ERS and SCS except Java
When VCS ( Cluster Software) try to start Java not able to find Jlaunch Process .
NW version is 7.3 ehp1.
Error says : Missing Process JLAUNCH though jc exsist.
Even i cant find any jlaunch process in nw 7.3 ehp1.
jstart process is there instead of jlaunch.
Kindly suggest .

Get reply from Symantec which saying that jlaunch process is nessasary for running the cluster.Cluster is not able to find JLAUNCH process.But normal condition without cluster SAP work fine.Problem is coming when its trying to start JAva instance in cluster.Not find any JLAUNCH process in NW 7.3 ehp1.

Thus we need to check whether this file "/tmp/.VRTSSAPNW04/PI_J00/PID/pidfile.jlaunch" exist during the start process or not.
Which means that this process "jlaunch" is necessary for the SAP resource instance to come online
Checked this link in which telling there will be no jlaunch process any more from 7.1.
Why there is no jlaunch process in PI Netweaver 7.31 ?

By seeing the logs java instalnce is not able to connect with message server.
Please let us know know where the message server is installed and system setup.
also share the dev_dispatcher and dev_server0 logs
it may have some more information.

Error while starting Managedserver for 2nd server in cluster

we have 2 Unix servers of which one has Admin and managed server and second has only managed server.
while starting managed server for 2nd unix server we are getting below error though it is in running state: KINDLY HELP!!

Coherence cluster reporting the Error while starting TcpProxyService
In my application we have around 70 node. We have a client which connect to the cluster as an TCP extend client.
As per the coherence log a communication delay between the two node is reported and then cluster service is restarted, but it failed to start the TcpProxyService. And this leads to the client connected by TCP Extend, lost connectivity with the cluster.
Q1 : What is the reason and how to avoid this error ?
2: How to notify the client about the connection failure ?

Error while starting manage server
Hi,
I get the following error while starting the managed server. But there is no
fatal error and the startup is successful. The domain has an admin and a managed
instance. The admin server starts without any trouble. Please help resolve this
problem.

Hi,
I get the following error while starting the managed server. But there is no
fatal error and the startup is successful. The domain has an admin and a managed
instance. The admin server starts without any trouble. Please help resolve this
problem.

Hi All,
we are getting below error while starting Admin Server.
we have tried resetting boot.properties file and deleting ldap files, clearing caceh, tmp files but no luck.

I reckon the boot.properties is not correct. You can recreate the file - adding the new credentials. Check the OBE [url http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/fmw/wls/10g/r3/installconfig/enable_auto_login/boot_identity_file.htm]Enabling Auto Login by Using the Boot Identity File for more information.

Error while starting coherence server
Hi I am working with the coherence in that i am using pof concept to build portable objects , i configured the cache , coherence server i was imported the cache , pof config paths into the these two servers when i am trying to start the coherence server its showing following error like pof config file not loaded ....is there any problem with my cache-config file....can u pls tell me how to approach to this task..

Using coherence 3.6 , which comes with weblogic 10.3.5. We are using Clustered configuration , both clusters are supposed to start in VIPs.

1)Could you please try logging into sqlplus using using the below command :-
sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
2)Execute the below command to check if the password in expired :-
select username, account_status, expiry_date, where username='MDS username';
3)Change the password if the password has been expired by following the below command :-
alter user <user> identified by <password>;
4)Once the above steps are followed please login into the Weblogic Admin Console and follow the below steps:-
+ Go to DataSources ---> Select the MDS schema ----> change the password which was given in step no.3
+ Restart the Weblogic once again.
5)Lets us know the result.

No this is not a clustered environment.
yeah but under domains there are two domains we have created.
i.e. domains/ domain1 domain2
both are having soa servers as managed server.
in one domain soa is up but in domain2 it is not getting up causing above errors while starting.
FYI : It is causing problem now only.. before this , soa server on both the server have been up & running simultaneously.

Once the server is started, is Auditing to DB successful?
Assuming that you have auditing to DB configured and that it is generally working, I suspect that the errors messages are occurring during the time when the server is making the jndi sources available to the server. If so, the messages are harmless (although I do not think they should happen).

The table QRTZ92_TRIGGERS is there in the database.But while trying to run this command (UPDATE QRTZ92_TRIGGERS set NEXT_FIRE_TIME=1 where NEXT_FIRE_TIME < 0)in database i am getting the table or view does not exist.
What is GTC resource?
