i did the same but could nto infer anything sensible. Ultimately when i reduced the size of the human task name, it started working properly. Guess that was what i should have infered after looking at the underlying exception.
Thanks:)

I had a similar issue, but it was after my application was automatically converted by JDEV from 1.1.1.3.
Perhaps others have determined how to fix the application and projects after the conversion, but I recreated everything in 1.1.14 and this seems to work.

  • Error while creating task: The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again. (SharePoint 2013)

I get the following error while saving a task inside task list:
"The server was unable to save the form at this time. Please try again."
I tried restarting "search service host controller".
The server has 8 GB RAM and according to task manager, 6.67 GB is being used.
I logged into the site with user which is the owner of the site. I tried creating tasks from client as well as the SharePoint server itself. Same error is shown in both the cases.
How do I find information on the exact problem that is causing the error? What are possible solutions?

    Hi robikshrestha,
This error message often shows when there is low memory that can be used, the workaround restart the “SharePoint Search Hosting Controller” service is to release some memory, and make it work. Whether restart the service release memory
    in your situation?
Would you please check whether this issue happens all the time in task list, or happens sometimes when the memory is lower to use. If it doesn’t have a large impact, you can restart the server, check the result. have a look at the event
log and ULS log, see whether there is related information.
If it happens all the time, would you please use other browsers, whether the results are same? This may be caused by some add-ons in IE, like Free Download Manager I have seen.

  • Error while synchronizing MI Client

    Hi All,
We have configured our server with MAM3.0 and applied all the latest patches. We installed MI Client 2.5 SP17 and assigned the MAM application to the client. For the first synchronzation MI Client downloaded the MAM application and it got the link for the application. After clicking on that link I could see the User View Manager. Again I did synchronization three times, there after I got an error as "Exception while processing method SMARTSYNC: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error while Smart Sync inbound processing: java.lang.IllegalStateException: No field available: ReusableFieldDescriptorIt[rowDescriptor=cMAM
30_095_280,index=4]: Error while Smart Sync inbound processing:java.lang.IllegalStateException: No field available: ReusableFieldDescriptor[row Descriptor=cMAM30_095_280,index=4].
There after successive synchronizations there are no errros and still there is only User  View Manager is displaying.
Can any body please tell me what will be problem..are they any configurations missed in middleware for MAM30.
    Regards,
    Chinna.

    Hi,
    well, here the question is:
    run MAM30_001_GETLIST
for the user in the backend. (SE37). Then have a look if there is any data for orders. Same for Notifs (MAM30_010_GETLIST).
If there are some, then check if related data for order (partner, equipment, functLoc) is available in the middleware (MEREP_207 table)
If there is no order, check if the user responsible is set, order is released and so on......
Finding that without having access to the system is more a guess then really help. It is just the thing I would do.
On the client, you can have a look into START.JSP page on the MAM app, that displays all data on the device for each and every syncBO.
    Hope this helps!

    Oliver

  • Error While synchronizing with DOE

    Hello Experts!
I have installed NW Mobile 7.1 client on PDA. I created device in DOE, after giving required sync settings, I could see synchronize my device with the DOE. The device status in DOE gets changed from Initial to Registered after Sync. However, on my PDA while I am synchronizing, it gives messages"exchanging messages with the server". This message comes until the status bar is at 50 %, after reaching this point, the status bar doesn't go ahead and after some time I get an error message "unexpected end of file from server".
Am I missing out on any setting. I think I am able to connect to the server but the synchronization cycle is not completing.
In the Synchronization log it is showing that last sync was successful and Device ID, Physical ID , Device Name is getting displayed.
Can anyone help me out with this.
I am attaching the error message in the trace file below.

    Regards
    Srikumar

    Hi,
    Here are some possible reasons...
    1. The connection seems to have been dropped by the server.
    2. A non-suuported HTTP version or format was used.
    - HTTP 1.0 does not issue Status Lines that begin with "HTTP/1.1", so
if you expect a different version and it is not there, then this would
be an Exception (to the rule).
    3. Packets are being dropped without retransmission from the server.
    4. Non-Implemented Method (GET, HEAD, POST, TRACE, DELETE, PUT), if you
expect to get a POST and in reality get a TRACE, then the line will be different and could possibly cause an error (but an exception?).
    5. A timeout or connection was reset.

  • Getting error while reading Task Notes

    Hi,
I have a problem while opening the task from UWL. It is about reading task notes. One LDAP User had written a note previous task but now this user is deleted from LDAP. Kindly Helps,
    Thanks

    Hi Omer,
This is a known issue. This error occurs because once the creator of the note is deleted from the portal, his user id cannot get displayed to the user who is trying to read the note as the Note Creator.
You need to apply the patches mentioned in the SAP Note specified to add the 'Deleted User' text when the note is trying to be read by someone.
Its not a long procedure. All the best.

Can anyone please suggest me where i am going wrong?
    Thanks,
    Uma.

I would assume you are missing the jar file for your scheduled tasks. Try and create a new scheduled task with the same class name, if it won't let you save, this is your answer. You'll want to make sure you have the connector scheduled task file in the ScheduleTask folder in your OIM directory.

  • Error while updating Task using pa_project_pub.update_project API

    Hi All,
I am using AMG APIs "pa_project_pub.update_project" for Task dates update . I am getting the  API Error message as : "For a shared structure or a Workplan structure, all tasks in the structure should be passed in correct hierarchy."
Even though I am passing the Task information in the task_in_tbl_type  in correct order (Ex. For extending dates, Top Task first followed by Sub Task and vice-versa for the shortenings the dates).
Still I am getting the Error. Request you to help me in resolving the error.
    Thanks,
    Atul

    Hi All,
    Thank you All.
Actualy I was watching the thread and got no Reply.this enable me to search more for the cause and eventually for the solution.
The Error "The flex field values you have entered are invalid" was because of DFF values only. I found this solution from API code only. It takes me to PA_PROJECTS_PVT where I Found the Error Code and then to flex field validation and then to Task utility Package.
Actually when you are not passing any value for Attributes, It will take the Old values only. and If the old values fails to Validate, this issue may arise. Same was the cause in this case. For An attribute the Value Set was "Standard Date" and it was accepting "DD-MON-RRRR" from Front End, but keeping "DD-MON-RRRR HH:MI:SS" as a value in the Attribute. For Eg. 12-DEC-2012 will be stored as 12-DEC-2012 00:00:00. It was there for almost all the Tasks.
And when it was passed internally to API, It was causing the Error that Value enterted are Invalid.
I came to know only after running the Desc Flex Field Validate API, which PA_PROJECTS_PVT was using.
Got the Solution and feel like sharing with you all.
    Thanks,
    Amit

  • Error while creating task list

    Hi All,
I am configuring change management , i have created project and assigned logical component for that when i create task list it gives below error .
For object /TMWFLOW/M , number range interval 01 does not exist
    Message no. NR751
    Diagnosis
The database table NRIV has the delivery class 'C', i.e. the SAP default settings are only in client 000.
    Procedure
Create the missing number range interval in customizing.
    Transaction code:
I have already  maintained number ranges.
    Thanks
    Santosh

    Hi ,
Make sure you maintain the number range interval to be no. "01" and not "1" or anything else. I kept getting the "Error reading information for number range object /TMWFLOW/D" (and /M/ and /V) even though I had added the number range interval as described in the manual. As soon as I deleted the interval "1" and put it back with "01" that check passed and I could create a task list.
    Thanks
