Error while trying to change Standalone to Domain Member

Error while writing settings. (Cannot make the server a domain member)
What setting have I got wrong?

Could you by chance post what setting was causing the issue? I am also encountering it and I'm not exactly sure where the error is coming from.

Error while trying to Change an Infosource

I get the following error while trying to change an Infosource. I am not able to get to the change screen and it displays the following message 'Infoobject MPVPOPR not available in the Active Version'.
I did the following to try and debug the issue...but with no luck..
1) I checked for the Infoobject MPVPOPR and did not find it anywhere (Metadata, Transport Connection, Infobjects)
2) I am able to load the data using an infopackage into the ODS.
3) Communication structure and all is Active...
I just cannot get to the Change Screen for this Infosource and it displays the error 'Inobject MPVPOPR not available in the Active Version'.
Please provide any Suggestions

For the confirmation whether your infosource contains MPVPOPR or not.
Just goto RSA1 > InfoObjects > search MPVPOPR > double click on found > there is an option "Where used" , just click and check whether your infoobject is present in the infosource or not.

Error while trying to change or save as query in query designer

Hi ,
When we are trying to change or do a save as to a query in the query designer,it is giving us an error stating"'An unexpected object variable or with block variable not set'error occured in wdbrlog 1 error(s) are logged".
We have searched in SDN for the same error and found some OSS notes(Notes 571831,575434) should be implemnted but those notes seem old.We are using BI 7.0 version.
Could anyone please suggest??

Error while trying to change the user password on OSX Lion

Hello,
I am trying to change the user password ( no admin user ) using the webinterface. I enabled the functionality in webservices on the server.
I can loginto the three line password changing form. After I enter the old and two times the new password, I get the information
"Your request could not be completed. The password server may be unavailable."
How can I fix this problem? I also tried https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2485167?start=0&tstart=0.

I currently have this error on my 10.6.8 ML server when trying to change password.
In my situation, the message definitely comes from the password policies. As soon as I use a new password that respects minimum complexity (e.g. 8 characters min, 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase letter, 1 number), the password changes flawlessly.
It would be nice to change this horrible message to something more meaningful... If someone has any ideas on how to do this, thanks for sharing!

I have a request scope backing bean. The first time this bean is loaded (I check
this with the ResponseStateManager.isPostBack() method) I fill a list of SelectItem
instances that are to be displayed in the JSF page in a +<h:selectOneMenu>+ component.
The list goes, of course, to the +<h:selectOneMenu>+'s +<f:selectItems>+ facet child
component. In the constructor I also define the value that goes to the value property
of the +<h:selectOneMenu>+ component. This value is a property in the backing bean, as
is the list of SelectItem instances. Until now we have something like this:

(this time the method ResponseStateManager.isPostBack() returns true ),
in the else block in the constructor above, I need to fill fSetoresOrigem with
other values and also the fSetorOrigem field because, of course, the fSetorOrigem
field has to be a valid value that exists in the new fSetoresOrigem list.
JSF is not complaining about the change to the list items, but it is complaining
to the change to the fSetorOrigem field (the list value), even though it is a
valid value present in the list. So I'm getting this error message:

I really need a solution to this problem as I'm stuck with this and can't proceed until
I find a solution to this. What I am doing wrong and how can I solve this?

Error while trying to change payment infomation

Hello,
I've tried to update my billing information by adding a new credit card, because the current one has expired, and therefore I cannot make the payment with it.
When I fill out the necessary form and press the button, the window displays a message describing an error with the system. It also displays a link to a support page (http://helpx.stage.adobe.com/hu/contact.html?product=creative-cloud), to which I am denied access.
Does anyone know who I can contact with this issue?

I need help with the following problem:
When I try to run Setup.com / PrepareAD / ActiveDirectorySplitPermissions command: False
I get the following error:

I recommend you use get-rolegroupmember "organization management" cmdlet to check if you are a member of organization management role group and use get-rolegroupmember "recipient
management" cmdlet to check if you are a member of recipient management role group.
If you don't have these permission, please use add-rolegroupmember cmdlet to add your account to these role group.

When i try to change the column description of the table control or adjust any other element which is already available on the screen and not in table control. It gives me an error

Error while trying to change settings in SALE

I am trying to trigger Idocs from QAS, ECC to XI. There are some problems with the settings.
I went to SALE -.> Logical System --> Define Logical System and reach " Display Logical Systems OverView screen.
Here under the Logical Systems, I don't see the name of the Logical System for XI QAS. I think this entry should be there, then only I can enter it next to Partner number in WE20. Is my understanding correct?
But when I try to add the Logical System name of the XI to the list, I am NOT able to do it. I don't see any option to edit it. The Dispplay- Change option under Table View is greyed out.
How do I change it and add XI system to it?

You have to follow the below steps :
1. ask basis to provide the proper authorization, or let them do that.
2. once done provide the LS name of XI-QAS,
3. Go partner profile and provide your idoc type.
4. go to port and provide the port which will be followed..
5. configure the xi system, using the idx2, idx1 transaction.
7. replicate the structure in xi and configure your xi system.
8. trigger one idoc in ECC QAS and monitor the same in xi system.

What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
Error analysis
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure

How to correct the error
The exception must either be prevented, caught within the procedure
"RKE_WRITE_CE4__BPS1"
"(FUNCTION)", or declared in the procedure's RAISING clause.
To prevent the exception, note the following:
Use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert only if you are sure that none of
the records passed already exists in the database.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC" CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DBC
"SAPLKED1_WRITE_CE4_BPS1" or "LKED1_WRITE_CE4_BPS1U01"

Please check that below note are applicable to your system.

Using the OTN2 tech preview build 4684 now available on OTN, I used the JDEVHOME/jdev/bin/start_oc4j script to startup the embedded server in standalone mode and cannot reproduce these errors.
Can you try with build 4684 from OTN and see if the same issue still reproduces?
If so, does it occur even before ever deploying any applications of your own to the instance?

Error while trying to start OC4j11g in standalone mode

I get the following error while trying to start OC4j 11g 11.1.1 in standalone mode:
Error initializing server: Shared library "oracle.fabric.runtime" could not be found.
FYI, I have the imports for oracle.fabric, oracle.fabric.interceptors in server.xml already.
Any thoughts?

I deployed the map example app that Oracle posted online (GEOTAGS - Oracle Open World Conference in 2007) on the JDeveloper's embeded OC4J 11g Tech Preview 3. The deployment went well. However, it doesn't seem to work when I go to the main.jsp (http://localhost:8888/geotags/main.jsp). The following is the error. Please tell me what I need to do to solve this problem.

Why am I receiving an error message while trying to change my phone number?

So I have been trying to change my phone number for a few days now and every single time I get this error message, before i even start, "The activity you are trying to perform is currently unavailable. Please try again later." I was hoping to circumvent the 15$ fee of doing it over the phone. Finally, I decided to do an online chat, the associate did not know why the error was occurring but informed me in order to change my number over chat, i would STILL have to pay the 15$ fee. Something struck me as so wrong there, so conveniently the change features and phone number part of the website was not working, however the view/pay your bill part was always working properly, never received any error messages there. I understood it was not the associates fault however. Still that is wrong. If it was not urgent I would wait. Yes I could have tried the number block, that section was not working either, but having to renew which numbers you want blocked every couple of months makes no sense to me, if I want something blocked, i want it blocked permanently not just for 90 days. Yes I tried call/SMS blocker apps from the app store but they're faulty in that they still give you notifications of when the blocked person/number called/text or do not always block everything all the time. But when it came down to it, even the associate encountered the error message while trying to change my number. So why is this happening. Verizon is expensive but the reception is better however theirs always issues when I need to fix something. Its frustrating

Verizon was having a problem on their end, perhaps a server down for some repair or updating. However you were already aware that there was an on-going problem in your own posting and you decided to continue on.I can understand you wanting this done and trying to save the $15.00 fee. However I would have waited a bit longer until the Verizon issue had been corrected. Yes it is frustrating but again you know in advance of a problem , I can understand that this is most upsetting for you but never try to perform any change when a problem is there and I also do not like to do business on a weekend with no live tech support available. I'm sure this will all work out for you if given some time. Sorry.
