I am getting the following error while trying to run/launch AIX based Ora. Apps 11.5.10.2

Error: Object "" does not have windowed ancestor
Does anyone know what could be causing this?

It definitely is an environment related issue(that is what I am trying to find out)
This is occuring in our DEV environment. It works fine in TEST and PROD.
More than likely it is due to low resources in the DEV...but I figured some one would have seen it before....and would answer my question with a definite answer.

I am getting the below error while trying to retrieve reports.
"5203:ADM Error proceessing results from query:The dataform grid is invalid. Verify that all members selected are in Essbase. "
Can any one help me know the cause of this error and how to get rid of it?

It sounds like you have a grid (visible or hidden) with an invalid member name in it. IT could be caused by the member being hard coded into a row or column and then the member being deleted or renamed in the outline. The only way to fix it is to check each member anme in the grids and determine what changed.

VS 2010 error: 'Error while trying to run project: Not implemented'

I added a new Oracle database project using Oracle Tools for Visual Studio 2010. Once the Oracle database project is added to my Solution, my Visual Studio is no longer able to start the debugger and at times not able to run Test Cases. It error with 'Error while trying to run project: Not implemented'. If I unload the project, VS starts working fine.
Any idea on how to resolve this issue?

Turns out that I was able to solve the problem by removing the Oracle project from the solution, and then adding it back in. From a SLN file point of view, it seems that as long as the Oracle SQL project is located after the Web Application Project that everything works fine.
Note that the SLN file is not organized by alphabetical project name, so changing the name of the SQL project doesn't help; its organized by order of project addition to the solution, so removing and re-adding is the way to go.

Error message while trying to run report on Historical Reports

One of my users are getting an Exceptional Error while the userr is trying to run a report on Historical reports on her machine. I am able to run the same report on another machine so i am assuming it has something to do with her particualar machine. Error Message is below

The only thing I'm not quite sure is that it supposedly affects CRS 4.x not 5, however I think you can try the workaround on the machine with problems and see how that works.

Error while trying to view report instances

Application: BO XI 3.1
Crystal Reports 2008
While in BOE Infoview, users sometimes receive "Internal Error. Please contact system administrator" message as they try to view the report instances (from History tab and/or trying to refresh report). This seems to happen intermittently since sometimes users can run/view the reports as they log out of Infoview and log back in and it works normally again OR wait for a few minutes. THis is very strange and quite annoying having users log out and in all the time and sometimes they can't view the report instances or try to refresh the report with new parameters....Anyboy has experience with this type of behavior?

This issue was resolved after changing the user name to "oats" this is the user name of weblogic server and not the OATS console.

Error when trying to run report

I created a report (based on an Oracle database, connecting via ODBC) in CRXI Developer and it runs just fine. When I post it to our BO servers (one is 10, the other XI), I get the following error:
The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.
I have verified the login info, it is the same that I am using on my workstation. I have also verified the ODBC on the server which also tests ok. I have tried setting the report to prompt for the login info, but it still does not work. I would like to be able to save the login info with the report, as it is supposed to run automatically.

Is this qury is running fine in SQL?? Have you checked this query in Sql server(Management studio) whether working or not??.
I feel there is some mismatch with relations in query.. Cross check your query once in SQL itself. once it is running well, we will take a look.
