Error while validating Dimension

Hi,
I am getting the following error, while validating the Dimension (DIM_COUNTRY).
' VLD-0350: In a hierarchy STANDARD, level relationship binding between parent level REGION and child level COUNTRY does not exist.'
How to rectify this error? Please help.

You could:
1) Try doing an autobind of dimension, however this may create a duplicate sequence and table.
or
1) Unbind dimension.
2) Delete from repository the sequence that was created previously.
3) Delete from repository the table that was created previously.
4) Autobind dimension.
Note when using autobind you'll lose any partitioning etc. defined on the table.

i am working on OWB 10gR2 while i try to validate & Deploy according to the following process it was successful but as i tried to view data from dimension i am getting an error which i have mentioned below

Destination Table = CUSTOMER
Dimension = CUSTOMER
Mapping = CUSTOMER_MAP
Validate Table CUST_MAP.
Validate Table CUSTOMER.
Validate Dimension CUSTOMER.
Validate Mapping CUSTOMER_MAP.
Deploy table CUSTOMER.
Deploy mapping CUSTOMER_MAP.
Deploy dimension CUSTOMER (configured => Deploy All).
Deploy table CUSTOMER.
Deploy sequence <CUSTOMER_SEQ>
Deploy mapping CUSTOMER_MAP.
Deploy dimension CUSTOMER (configured => Deploy All).
Start mapping to load table CUSTOMER.
After this i am getting an error while i tried to view the data in the dimension

Not sure if it's valid to have a dimension with 1 hierarchy and 1 level in that hierarchy. The hierarchy may have to have at least 2 levels. If you want the configuration of a dimension with 1 hierarchy and 1 level, CWM2 may want you to omit the hierarchy, thus creating the dimension with only 1 level.

Hi, I am receiving an error while validating business rules
An error occurred in: Rule:HypLive.Plan1.Product Interest
A validation error was received from the Planning server 'http://abc:8300/HyperionPlanning/servlet/HspAppManagerServlet?appname=HypLive'.
'Error:
Error Cause: nativeGetNewTLA Rule HypLive.Plan1.Product Interest'.

Are you able to validate the rule in EAS (or Calc Manager)?
Normally nativeGetNewTLA Rule is followed by out of memory errors like java.lang.OutOfMemoryError,
Increase the heap size to 1024, re start Planning and try validating it again.

I am getting an error while validating the template 0Analysis_pattern, the error says "Cannot Instantiate data provider" Message No. RSWADPREXEC023. It is coming as an error message and not a warning.

Error while processing dimension!!

Hello Experts,
We are using BPC 7.5 M sp04, I am trying to add a "Parenth6" column to the "Org" dimension (Org dimension already has Parenth1 to Parenth5 columns), After adding the "Parenth6" column I tried processing the dimension and it is showing below error:
"-OLEDB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: Cannot create a row of size 9052 which is greater than the allow maximum row size of 8060.; 42000.Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the dimension, with the ID of 'CDNPLAN', Name of 'Org' was being processed.
Server: The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed."
Please Advice.

This will help you understand the error .
Symptom
Client is receiving following error message when processing a dimension:
DetailMsg - OLE DB error- OLE DB or ODBC error- Cannot create a row of size 8124 which is greater than the allowable maximum of 8060.
Cause
As a workaround to this error, client attempted to reduce the number of characters in the dimension's mbr table in the PARENTHx columns from 50 to 20 to mach the size of the memberid field. However validating and processing the dimension returned the mbr table size back to the 50 character length.
An Enhancement Request has been logged under IM 3535477 2010. The Enhancement Request (ER) will be considered in terms of future product development when considering possible new features in the next major release. Please note that the ER may or may not be included depending on various factors.
Resolution
As a workaround, client removed several properties to get the number of row size record bytes below 8060 so the dimension was able to process.

Errors while validating after import

Hi
In FDQM, i have give the source and targets for mapping of a custom dimension.
One of the source is getting calculated using FDM scripts as based on the data, it generates the metadata member at source.
I can see a proper import happening and the script generating the required result.
But while validating it shows an error. Even though the member is present in MAPS, it shows it as unmapped.
If i use the "FIX" option in validation, i still end up getting the same error message (in addition the dimension member field now shows some additional characters!)
Any one has faced this issue with FDM before?

Hi,
It seems you are using Logic Accounts to create the new metadata member. Should this be the case, then it may be worth checking whether you are mapping the name of the logic account itslef or the newly created members.

Error while validating application in version 11.1.2.2

Hi guys,
This is the first time I work with EPMA, and I find it really challenging!
1) While trying to deploy the application after updating the Shared Library (all dimensions in the application are shared), I got the following error:
"Error: The 'View' dimension has been modified since the first successful deployment of the application".
I read it's not recommended to change the View dimension, but... if it is necessary, can you do it? The Scenario default frequency is MTD, and the only members I have in the View dimension are: YTD, QTD and Periodic. Periodic and MTD should work the same way, but I'm not sure if I can use it.
2) I also get some warnings in the Account dimension:
"The 'Hierarchies' section contains a duplicate entry for member "Sales_Tot'. I think this is related to an alternate roll up (IsPrimary property is set as "N"), but does it mean that the account is not going to be added to the alternate account roll up? Is there any way to avoid this kind of warning?

If I remember correctly I think it caches the dimension information so if you add a new hierarchy doesn't update the cache, restarting clears the cache. Probably one to log with Oracle to see what they have to say.

Error while processing dimension after add or delete property

Hi Experts,
I use BPC for MS SP6 with SQL Server 2008. I detected a problem while processing dimension after add or delete property.
The error message is: u201CMemory error: Allocation failure : Not enough storage is available to process this command. Error Code = 0x8007000E, External Code = 0x00000000.u201D
I tried to truncate and drop dimension tables and process dimension again, and it doesnu2019t work.
Any idea?

Yestarday in the afternoon, we added a Property at another Dimension, and we continued having the same problem: we had errors when processing that dimension, but after restarting the server, we can process dimension.
Looking at the Event Viewer, at 'OutlookSoft log' environment, the following error appears:

Thanks for the prompt help. Is there any other way instead of removing the DTD line ?. Because the xml is coming as a string and removing the dtd and then adding it will unneccesary hamper performance. Do you any other way in which even though I don't remove the line I get the output without removing the dtd line ?.

I have created a Calculated column of type NVARCHAR by performing some calculation on a filed whose data type is NVARCHAR.
But while validating the view am getting an error " Attribute type is not valid"
Could some one please help me why am getting this error.

then i opend weblogic builder.
1.i connected to server.
2.file open then descriptors sucessfuly created.
3.but while validating and deployement through weblogic builder i am getting error look like this"ERROR: Error compiling EJB sources
ERROR: Error from ejbc: Compiler failed executable.exec"
can any one help how to solve this problem

Hi,
Try removing the defaultPackage="employee" from the dataTemplate element. I also noticed that there are the following errors in your XML template:
<sqlStatement name="Q1" is missing the closing ">"
There are two <dataQuery> tags - the 2nd one should obviously be </dataQuery>
You are selecting EMPNO,ENAME,JOB but reference EMPNO,ENAME and JOB in your GROUP

Error while validating a BPF

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to create BPF as per the How to Guide given on SDN. While I am validating the BPF, it gives me below error -
BPF: Error reading master data
Invalid attribute name (P_Owner) in dimension (P_ACCT)
When I check for the dimension property of P_ACCT, I have added P_Owner there and have added master data as well for the records.
Please help me in resolving this issue. Needless to say that I am new to BPC and just starting.

How you are maintaining master data in owner, is should be maintained as follows
If single user it should be domain\user u2018s
User should be valid user, who is existing in BPC.
If you are using group of user then create team and give team name as follows
[Team Name]
i.e Open brace team name close brace

I suspect that you are using an <af:inputText> with no converter for entering the email on the page. The purpose of a converter would be to convert the String value entered by the user in the field to another datatype (e.g. to model.common.DomainEmail type) which is expected by the model layer (e.g. by the target VO attribute). If there is no such converter, JSF does not perform any datatype conversion and it tries to assign the java.lang.String value to the VO attribute (which is of model.common.DomainEmail datatype), so a type casting error occurs. If that is the case, then you should implement and attach a proper JSF converter to the <af:inputText> component.
