Error while verifying Websphere Configuration

Hi all,
I am tring to configure LiveCycle ES with WebSpehere.
I configured the Websphere Server and installed the ES server too.
But when i run the "Verify Application Server Configuration" Task using configuration manager its throwing an error.
The websphere application server where i gonna deploy the EAR and the LiveCycle ES server are installed in two differnt machine. I did install a local copy of websphere (in the ES machine) as mentioned in the configuration manager. The configuration manager recognises the local copy of the Websphere where as it is throwiung error when i give test connection for the remote websphere application server.
Can anyone tell me how should i specify the host name for the remote websphere server? I am just mentioning the ip address of the machine.
Pleas ehelp me. Its very urgent.

So Machine A has LiveCycle installed. It also has WebSphere installed.
Machine B has WebSphere, which is the target for LiveCycle
Assuming that both machines have the same version of WebSphere, I'd recommend the following:
- deploy a simple sample app to the WebSphere appserver instance on Machine B
- Start a browser on Machine A
- Try to load the sample app on Machine B and see if it works
You can also manually deploy the EARs to the WebSphere appserver instance on Machine B.

Hi Somesh,
If i am not wrong, only a war file deployment is needed to make ipad work.
This happens with URL hitting directly on the Server.
If you want to configure VAS and VMS servers, let us know what configuration settings have been done.

Error while running OBIA configuration configApps.bat

I am receiving error while running configapps.bat.
I have the following wnvironment installed:
64 Bit windows
Java 6 (JDK1.6.x)
Weblogic server 10.3.6 in software only mode
Ran OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 RCU utility to create BIPLATFORM and MDS schemas.
configured OBIEE 11.1.1.7
Installed ODI 11.1.1.7 with All components and “Skip Repository Configuration”
Ran OBI Apps RCU to create schemas for:
ODI Master and Work Repositories (DEV_BIA_ODIREPO)
Oracle Business Applications Components (DEV_BIACOMP)
Oracle Business Analytics Datwarehouse (DEV_DW)
Update to MDS schema.
Installed BI Apps 11.1.1.7.1
Applied FMW Platform Patches
Updated BIACOMP Schema with ATGLite patch scripts
Everything was up and running until now, when i try to configure OBIA via running configApps.bat, it is getting stuck at ODI configuration.
Also the server seems to be going to idle/suspended state every now and after 5-6 mins of startup and i see this message repeated again and again in server log :

The re-install has been successful. Didnt encounter any issues in any configuration.
However the waring still appears

Also in the log i am getting the following errors as well in the Weblogic server log
BEA -101020 Servelet failed with exception Java.lang.illegalstateexception: Cannot forward a response that is already committed
Oracle.as.management.mbeans.opmn OPMN.queryProcessStatus failed with the following exception oracle.as.management.opmn.optic.OpticBadConnectionException: Failed to create secure socket for OPMN
All patches were applied successfully, including weblogic one's.
Has anyone got any idea how to resolve these issues.

Error while ipmorting dev configuration in NWDS

 I am getting error as "No configurations on server or server error" while trying to import development configuratios in NWDS 2.0.7. I am using WAS 6.40 sp 9 . plz provide me some idea what to do.
 I thought may be its because my cms has not been configured for domain & track. I tried to confiogure domain and succeed. but while tring to add track I am getting error as"
Collection 'compartments' of configuration "dm_dev" is empty or missing (null). : compartments
 again while adding track in domain if I adds software components "SAPDEVINFF" from the list it's giving the following error "
DTR (URL http://<server-name>:50000/dtr) server exception: Repository "http://<server-name>:50000/dtr" failed to properly respond to request "PROPPATCH ws/dm/sap.com_SAPDEVINFF/dev/" [HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error]
 actually I am tring to configue JDI on WAS but get stuck with these configurtion things since last 3/4 days.

First one I understood.
for the second one I tried from my friend's system who has NWDS 2.0.9, but it showed same as above problem. I guess this is because I have not defined track.
 I have followed the NWDI installation guide of version sp12 . I guess that should not be a problem. I could not find a guide for sp9.
 now I have to solve the problem of these errors that is shown while defining track.
 one thing i want to let you know that while I am tring to access the CBS url http://<server-name>:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc.CBS.WebUI/WebUI
 its giving error
An error has occurred:
"Failed to process the request."
Please contact your system administrator
even though I have configured CBS as per the installation guide.

FPM: Error while creating component Configuration

I have installed ABAP trial version (NSP), but without loopback adapter. So, now for every WebDynpro application, I have my manually change link from "http://<mymachineName>:8000" to "http://localhost:8000".
I create an application on FPM component: FPM_OIF_COMPONENT, then an application configuration for this application.
I open this Appl. config. in se80 and press "Start configuration". Now I try to create new component configuration.
After maintaining description and transport information, I save it.
At this point, I get a dump:
"RFC Error while sending logon data"
CALL_FUNCTION_CONNECT_ERROR in CL_WDR_CFG_COMP_SHBROKER======CP.
The class: CL_WDR_CFG_COMP_SHBROKER method: INVALIDATE
has a call: call function 'WDR_INVALIDATE_CFG_PATTERN' starting new task l_cfg_task
exporting client = client pattern = l_instance_name .
where it dumps.
could you please to resolve what could be wrong? is there some system setting which I missed.

Hi ,
This exception is raised when a connection or communications failure occurs.
This exception reports all failures and system problems on the remote machine . so look like there is some porblem with your system connection .
Could you please check in your host file , is that entry for system is maintain or not ?

The corrective measure here is to compress the config file in NVRAM..
you can do the same using service compress-config in the global config prompt.
once you are done with the command in the global mode do remember to save the config..

I am getting an error "Physical table TBC.sales does not exist" similar error for all other tables. Any one got similar error while creating sample application in AIS.

The reason might be probably because of not properly configuring the Catalogue to the database during the installation.
During the installation of EIS, you will be asked to give specific database details where the AIS can store the metadata of sample applications of the model and metaoutline. If the database login credentials fail or, now while opening the model, if u are referring to other database/ with other credentials who essentially donot have access to those tables, you might get this error.
So, please check with configuring the AIS associated Database and Catalogue that you are referring to.

Error while doing BAM configuration in JDeveloper

Hi,
I tried to create a connection to my local BAM Server in JDev 10.1.3.2.0 and also in 10.1.3.3, but I always failed! Error messages:
"Server is not set up correctly SOA1"
I'm running on Windows 2003 and installed BAM according to the Installation Guide (version was Bam with Enterprise Link for windows 10.1.3.3.0).
I did not get any error while doing the other setups and can access the different BAM tools via the Oracle BAM Start page, but I can't create a connection in JDev. I used the following parameters:
Host Name: SOA1(system name)
Port Number: 80
User Name: Administrator
Password: <windows domain pwd>
Domain Name: DOMAINNAME
Any help would be highly appreciated.

I am customizing UWL config file. I have download file and saved it to desktop. But while opening that file i am getting following error.

I have followed the same procedure what you have explained. But when i am opening XML file with XML editor , it is not opening and not giving any error. But when open with word it is saying "file must contain one root element".

Error while Updating "Failure configuring Windows updates - Reverting changes"

I've recently formatted my HP ENVY 15t-3200 CTO Notebook PC.
When I'm updating the PC the Error of "Failure configuring Windows updates - Reverting changes - Do not turn off your computer" triggers on screen when the PC restarts after installing the Updates.
It takes hours to revert the changes.........
Pls. help me out as I can't update my PC to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8 Pro.
I've also tried to resolve the issue by searching on the vrious websites but the issue has not been resolved yet.

Hi,
Try the following.
Open an Elevated Command Prompt.
Type in ( or just copy and paste ) the following command ( including spaces ) and hit enter.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
This will take a while to complete, but when it’s finished, restart the notebook.
Let windows fully load, then once again, open an elevated command prompt, then enter the following command and hit enter.
sfc /scannow ( note that there is a space between sfc and the / )
Let the process complete, then type exit and hit enter.
Restart the notebook then try upgrading to 8.1 again.

Any access permission is needed to download a configuration file.
or whatis the reason for this error.
