    Hi,
    When you will run the above JNLP, you will get the following Web Start exception:
    JAR resources in JNLP file are not signed by same certificate
    The reason for this is simple - one of the jar files that you are using was already signed by another party. Here is the way to find it:
    jarsigner -certs -verbose -verify activation.jar
    You will see a long list of certificates (one for each file). This means that this specific jar was signed by another party (Sun in our case). The solution for the problem is simple - put this jar in a separate JNLP and reference it in your main JNLP:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <jnlp spec="1.0+" codebase="https://jaxb-workshop.dev.java.net/webstart/" href="activation.jnlp">
    <information>
    <title>Activation</title>
    <vendor>Sun Microsystems, Inc.</vendor>
    <offline-allowed/>
    </information>
    <offline-allowed/>
    <resources>
    <jar href="activation.jar"/>
    </resources>
    <component-desc/>
    </jnlp>
    As you can see, we don't ask for permissions, as this specific jar doesn't need them. Then, you reference this activation.jnlp in your main JNLP:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <jnlp spec="1.0+" codebase="https://jaxb-workshop.dev.java.net/webstart/" href="wizard.jnlp">

    hi,
    go to http://<host>:<port>/index.html -->User Management log in using j2ee_admin
    When you go into one of the tabs, there will a client entry . Just change.
    You should able to do the same thing with UME provider service in the visual admin.
    Please check Note 938980 if you are using VPN.
    This is probably a Java Web-Start issue. Please check logon with other JWS versions. Also check if you have any conflicting JWS versions installed.
    This is a checklist for logon errors:

    Hi Suman,

    2) From left side Under Repository tab click on Javau2122 Web Start Administration ,which is under Javau2122 Web Start.
    3)On the main window there on 3 options, from that select Re-initialization . it will gve some msg and then log off from this.
    4) Now close this window, and again restart the main window , and now click on IR . It will reinitillize  and will start working,
    5) if ID also have same problem, repeate the same thing jst in step 2) select Directory tab and rest of process same as above.

  • Authorization error when opening Integration Builder

    Hi,
    When I try to open Integration Builder I'm frequently getting authorization error.  I always do a restart of Java engine when ever I get this problem.  After the restart, I don't get the error.
    Can any one tell me what is the permanant fix for this instead of always restarting the Java engine.
    Thanks in advance
    Sreenivas

    Hi Sreenivas,
           While opening Integration Builder there should not be any error about authorization. However if it is occuring then it may be due to Java Web Start version. Please install latest version of Java Web Start 1.4.2 or higer version. Its version 1.5 with update 3 will be the best for it. Even if it is install then please remove it and install it again. It may solve your problem because when you restart the JAVA engine and it work shows that there is some problem with Java web start.
         I hope that this will resolve your issue, even if countinues then go to ABAP stack and copy your Login ID and create it again.
    Reward points if beneficial.

  • Error while opening Integration Builder

    Hello guys,
    when i click integration builder link, instead of opening it it shows a dialog box saying "Do you want to open or save this file? directory.jnlp"
    Please resolve this issue asap.
    thanks

    Hi,
    1.Ensure that Java Web start version should not be less than 1.4.
    2. Check in the Control panel programs, whether there is only one JRE installed on your computer.
    If the issue still persists,
    Check in another computer, installing the Java web start and try opening IR.
    Thanks,

    Or, you can do it as mentioned below:
    Integration builder is a fat client and the required java libraries are downloaded for the same from the server. Downloading of libraries only happen for the first time using the Java Web Start.
    Sometimes there can occur problems while downloading theses libraries and error will show up as 'Unable to open Integration Builder'.Following is the checklist when this error occurs.
    1. Ensure that the required JDK is being used in the clent system
    2. Set the proxies to NONE in the Java Web Start by navigating
    Start>Programs>Java Web Start>File>Preferences-->Proxies
    3. Also check for the Host name & IP Address in the Hosts file under u201CC:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc hostsu201D

  • Error while opening excel integration with sap

    Hi
    While view planning with excel integration in SAP, I am getting error. I am getting this error in CCA and COPA also.
    Can anybody help me how to resolve the issue. Please see the meessage
    Error while opening document
    Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION143
    Diagnosis
    An error occurred in the desktop application while opening a document.
    Procedure
    Check first whether you can insert a document from this desktop application as an embedded object in another application. The necessary menu item is usually 'Insert --> Object'. The application then lists all of the OLE document types. Choose the type corresponding to the desktop applciation. If the insertion fails, the error is in the desktop application itself.
    This error has various causes. Often, it is caused by activating certain add-ins. Sometimes, the desktop application is wrongly installed. The error should not recur once you have disabled any add-ins or reinstalled the desktop application.
    Procedure for System Administration
    If you cannot solve the problem as described above, enter a problem message. There are notes relating to how to generate the log file using the program SAPROFFICEINTEGRATIONTRACE.
