if i started the vi there will be an error. the error 1320 is called : "..In edit mode lv cannot return a propety for a control part that have not created..".
wheres the problem??
markus
Hi markus,
Is this an actual control on your front panel?
It sounds like you are trying to change something that you do not have access to0. Check the LabVIEW help for this control property, its possible its read only.
Also this message would have been best posted in the LabVIEW forum here

UISelectMany - Conversion error with HashMap Property
Hi,
I have a Backing Bean with a HashMap Property.
public HashMap getItem()
public void setItem(HashMap map)
so I bind a Value of an UIInputText Component like that:
<h:inputText id="txtname" value="#{MyBean.item['myKey']}" />
this works pretty well.
But when I try to do the same with an <h:selectManyCheckbox> Component I got a "Conversion Error".
For what reason? I expected an Array or List Object.
Thanks for help
RalphI solved the problem by creating a custom converter, which checks if the current valueBinding is null.
If so, it replace the valueBinding with an empty ArrayList().
public class MultiValueConverter implements Converter {
public final static String CONVERTER_ID = "org.imixs.workflow.j2ee.faces.MultiValueConverter";
public Object getAsObject(FacesContext context, UIComponent component, String value) throws ConverterException {
// no changes
return value;
public String getAsString(FacesContext context, UIComponent component, Object value) throws ConverterException {
// Check if current value Binding is bind to an null-Object
javax.faces.el.ValueBinding valueBinding=component.getValueBinding("value");
if (valueBinding!=null && valueBinding.getValue(context)==null) {
// replace binding with empty ArrayList
valueBinding.setValue(context,new ArrayList());
// no changes
return value.toString();
you can find the full code under www.imixs.org (an open source project for a EJB based workflow engine) -
Hi All,
I need to create a Global property NumOfDecPlaces which is derived in DRM.I inserted a formula for that property to get the hierarchy name .
Depending on the hierarchy name I want to assign the no.of decimals.
But when i write PropValue(HierName) in the formula I get the following error.
" Server was Unable to Process request--->Cannot Fill a HierarchyNodeProp(HierName) for a Global node."
Can anybody would help me on this.
ThanksThe value a global property has, is applied across all the hierarchies in a particular version. What you are trying to do is get a specific value for a specific hierarchy using a global property. DRM will not allow you to that.
A global property comes in handy when you want a node to have the same value across different hierarchies where ever the node occurs.
Use a derived property instead
Go through Chapter 7 of the DRM guide if you happen to have it. It might give you more insight on to how the properties behave.
Hope this helps.

Error while importing a big array with thr property loader
Hello,
the following problems occure: when I want to import a *.txt file with a array of more than arround 3300 members with the property loader, the following error meassage occures:
property loader step failed to import or export properties
x property values were found
x-1 property values were imported from y rows
Error code: -18, user defined error code.
how can I solve this problem?
I think sizes of arrays are limited somewhere in the source code of the property loader. is it possible to increase this size? And how?

Internal Server Error while sending mail with extended property
I am using EWS Managed API. I just started fiddling with Extended properties. So I wrote simple code to send a simple mail with extended property attached to it.
Forming the mail part I simply copy pasted from this
MSDN page. For testing purpose I suppressed certificate validations.
This is my complete code:
1 ServicePointManager.ServerCertificateValidationCallback = delegate(object s, X509Certificate certificate, X509Chain chain, SslPolicyErrors sslPolicyErrors) { return true; };
2 service = new ExchangeService(ExchangeVersion.Exchange2007_SP1);
3 service.TraceListener = new TraceListener();
4 service.TraceEnabled = false;
5
6 service.Credentials = new WebCredentials("[email protected]", "password@123");
7 service.Url = new Uri("https://exchng.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx");
8
9 Guid MyPropertySetId = new Guid("{C11FF724-AA03-4555-9952-8FA248A11C3E}");
10
11 // Create a definition for the extended property.
12 ExtendedPropertyDefinition extendedPropertyDefinition = new ExtendedPropertyDefinition(MyPropertySetId, "Expiration Date", MapiPropertyType.String);
13
14 // Create an e-mail message that you will add the extended property to.
15 EmailMessage message = new EmailMessage(service);
16 message.Subject = "Saved with extendedPropertyDefinition of two days";
17 message.Body = "The expiration date is contained within the extended property.";
18 message.ToRecipients.Add("[email protected]");
19
20 // Add the extended property to an e-mail message object named "message".
21 message.SetExtendedProperty(extendedPropertyDefinition, DateTime.Now.AddDays(2).ToString());
22
23 // Save the e-mail message.
24 message.SendAndSaveCopy();
Please find the rest of the question in first reply, as I got "Body must be 4 to 60000 characters long".Rest of the question:
I am getting below exception (with no nested inner exceptions) on line 24:
An internal server error occurred. The operation failed.
at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceResponse.InternalThrowIfNecessary()
at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceResponse.ThrowIfNecessary()

at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.EmailMessage.InternalSend(FolderId parentFolderId, MessageDisposition messageDisposition)
at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.EmailMessage.SendAndSaveCopy()
If I comment line number 21, the code works fine and sends the message. So why it fails with extended properties? -
Property loader in .csv Format : Error with list of Numbers
Hi,
I need to change property files from the .xls format to the .csv format so that I won't need to install Ms Office on the Test Station PC.
Everything works is .csv format except for variales containing lists of numbers. Here is an example.
This variable contains the channel list to send to a Digital Multimeter. A string containing all channel numbers seperated by comas (The DMM model is Agilent 34070A).
I create a variable named ChannelList of type string containing : "101,102,103,104,105"
When exporting to property file (Using Tools-Import/Export properties), TestStand will write the following line is .csv format :
ChannelList,"101,102,103,104,105"
When trying to import this property value with a property loader I get the following error :
Runtime Error Occured
Error evaluating expression:Runstate.Sequence.locals.ChannelList = (""101")
Unexpected Token: 101
What puzzles me is that teststand is not even capable of reading its own exported property within a newly created file.
Any ideas?
TestStand 2013
Thanks in advance
NienNien,
This is a known issue and we are looking into this issue in future version of TestStand.
There are couple of approaches for fixing the problem:
1. Use a different character for comma in the property loader file. After importing the data, replace the character with comma using TestStand expression in the sequence file.
2. Use Tab Delimited Text format instead of CSV format.
3. We can see that, property loader is using expression to update the value of the property (The exact expression is specified in the error message you have posted). In a text editor, update the csv file to have the value as
ChannelList,101""+Chr(44)+""102""+Chr(44)+""103""+Chr(44)+""104""+Chr(44)+""105
This will create the expression such that, the value of ChannelList property will become 101,102,103,104,105
Note: This is just a workaround and you should use this approach with caution.
Thanks,

Unable to resolve DB adapter runtime error for setMaxRaiseSize property

Please do following settings.
1. Increase the consumer threads for file adapter.
2. Increase the concurrency in receiver communication channel.
3. Set poolWaitingTime in receiver communication channel.

Passivation Error with 9.0.3 Release
I am getting a passivation error with the new 9.0.3 Release Jdeveloper. I have a page-by-page iteration set up and am selecting out of a table that has 9000 rows in it. When I first query the table I do not have any problems, but when I go towards the end I start throwing passivation errors. I run the following chunk of code:
DcAddressView dav = (DcAddressView)this.getDcAddressView1();
dav.setWhereClause(whereClause);
dav.setRangeSize(pageSize);
dav.setRangeStart(startPos);
Row[] rows = dav.getAllRowsInRange();
where whereClause = "1 = 1 and source_ind = '9'"; pageSize = 20; startPos = 5900
With the whereClause used there is 5948 records in the recordset. When I debug this section of code I throw an exception as I try to setRangeStart(5900) as follows:

Any help would be appreciated. BTW-- I have repeatedly deleted all bc4j tables from my database.Eric,
We're tracking this problem as Bug#2646690. Thanks for reporting it.
The problem is related to a change in the JDBC driver when the oracle.jdbc.J2EE13Compliant Java system property is set to the value true. When this flag is set to true, JDBC returns a DATE column from the database as a java.sql.Date object. When the flag is not set or set to false, it returns the java.sql.Timestamp type that it has always returned before.
The workaround until we are able to fix this on our side to work with either Timestamp or Date in our code, is to add the line:
System.setProperty("oracle.jdbc.J2EE13Compliant","false");Into the constructor of your root application module's *Impl.java class. -
Error reading node property?
I'm using Premiere Pro CS6, editing a 10 minute sequence using H.264 clips in .MOV containers. This morning I have been applying the Fast colour corrector, warp stabiliser and highlight/shadow adjustment to the clips. A small red box with a white X has appeared in the lower right corner with the message "error reading node property". What does this mean and how do I rectify it?
Thanks for your help
This error doesn't appear to refer to any specific clip, and there is no more information given. Premiere seems to be running fine, except for occasional crashes, which I think are caused by adding the warp stabiliser to too many clips at once.Wish I had the answer, but I do not. I am getting the same message, yet all seems well , no crashes (Win 8)

Login error with BOXI 3.1
I frequently get a login error with BO XI 3.1 (with fix patched 1.3 and SAP interface installed on Linux machine).
ERROR:
Account information not recognized: The property SI_GUID of info object with id number 1876 is not unique. Table = 'CMS_InfoObjects6'. Column = 'SI_GUID'.
(authentication type: enterprise)
Error comes after first logging out with User1 and then trying to login again immediately with User2 (with IE6).
Thanks, TimoHello again,
Just to answer your questions:
- Yes, all systems are in the same domain
- I have configured BOE for SAP SSO. Users and roles have been imported.
- The SAP Portal is sending the ticket.
We've been able to reproduce the error over different client machines, and a workaround involves closing the browser window (with the error) that gets launched from SAP Portal on the first attempt and then clicking through to BO from the SAP Portal again. It works fine after that, but I'm afraid that some users might find this annoying/alarming
Thanks,

Yes. However, I don't believe it's an enycryption issue. It's something to do with javascript.
Regardless of what the issue is, the only (temporary) fix seems to be to use Firefox. However, I would have to agree with what Carolyn Samit said. Carolyn is a very active member here and knows a lot of things. -

I found the corresponding Property Metadata:
So the questions are:
1. what's wrong with this property ?
2. what's the use of this property (I find nothing in doc/note/scn) ?
3. how to sove this ?
Thank you.
VincentHello,
thank you for your answer.

What is strange for me is that is is a SAP Standard property that applies on all foders and all document (regarding folder and document validity patterns). Allowed values: undefined,in progress,to be released,released,archived,rejected
make me thing to workflow (approval flow) values (?). But what is the name space "rpt" used for ? Is seems used for reporting ?
Here the error stack:

Odd Error with decode function in Order By Clause
I am trying to compile a procedure and can't get around an error with a dynamic order by that doesn't make much sense to me. I can repoduce the error with a plain select statment in sql plus so I can rule out a declaration error. Here is an example with 2 numeric columns and a date column.
select task_id, display_date, remark_id from task_list
where task_id > 1000
order by decode('Task_ID', 'Task_ID',Task_ID, 'Display_Date', Display_Date, 'Remark_ID',Remark_ID)
returns the error:
select task_id, display_date, remark_id from task_list
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got DATE
I'm not sure why this error is occuring, because it doesn't even hit the Display_Date field in the Decode statment. If I take the Display_date out of the statement, it runs properly. If I change Display_Date to To_Char(Display_Date) it also runs fine, but the sorting is incorrect. Also I'm running 9.2, and do not want to use dynamic sql to build my query. Any Ideas out there as to the cause of this error?I did find a workaround to this issue by breaking the decode statment into three separate statement, but I still think that the way it is written above should work, and may be a bug, or an error that I don't understand fully.
The Order by was rewritten like this:
order by decode(pSort, 'Task_ID',Task_ID), decode(pSort, 'Display_Date', Display_Date),
decode(pSort, 'Remark_ID',Remark_ID);
Thanks

Can't switch directly from 10.4.8 to 9.2.2
I can't switch directly from 10.4.8 back to 9.2.2. I'm using the startup disk utility. While in 10.4.8, if I choose my 9.2.2 volume I get a crash when 9.2.2 tries to start up. The only workaround I have found is to switch to a 3rd disk (10.3.9) and t
