Error with anonymous user

I have configured an anonymous user and created a new framework page to display the content. When the page first loads, the correct framework page, theme, and content appear. However, if I click on one of the content tabs (even if it is the first one, which is currently showing correctly), I get the error "No portal desktop is defined for this user.If this problem persists, contact your system administrator."
I have checked all permissions on everything to ensure that they are set correctly. Is there some type of session management that needs to be configured for anonymous users? It seems to load great the first time, and then after that is when the error occurs. Logged in users do not have this error.

How to view a BI query with anonymous user in the portal

Hi Gurus,
Does anybody knows how to view a BI query in the portal with anonymous user?
Cause when i try to view a query the portal always ask for authentification. And i don't want to sign with a user cause my portal is for everybody and if the user logged in it shows the roles that previously were assigned.

do you have sso configured between portal and BW server, if yes the authentication pop up should not come.
if you dont want to do sso between portal and bw server and still want to logon to BW query with anonymous user,
in you bw server go to transaction sicf and navigate to DEFAULT_HOST->SAP->BW->BEX and double click on bex node in the resulting window, log on details section provide a default userid/password

Using KM APIs with Anonymous user

Dear SDNites,
I have gone thorough one of the SAP notes on possible CM scenarios with anonymous users. It says the the supported scenarios are Search, browse and download.
My question is that can we use KM apis in these areas with anonymous users? I got some documentation on KM Indexmanagement APIs for searching with TREX, which requires authenticated user. I am wondering is there any way to use those APIs with anonymous user access.

Hi Pavan,
if you access the KM via Web Service you'll find parameters in each service to send username and password.
If you browse the KM reposiroties via http you may need to do an authentication first. If your portal accepts basic authentication (as it does by default) you may call the KM explorer iView with some URL like:
http://<username>:<password>@<hostname>.<domain>:<port>/<path to KM iView>
If this does not work, maybe you need to use a client that supports basic authentication (digest). This may be e.g. the OpenSourcer library [HttpClient|http://hc.apache.org/] from the Apache project.
See [RFC2617|http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2617.html] for more details on Basic Authentication and Basic Authentication (digest).

As long as the quick poll iview that you put into the anonymous user role, has an authentication scheme of anonymous, then it will work fine.
Don't forget to point the iview at the relevant quick poll campaign.

Can you give more details? What exactly is the entire error message text? there should be an error number too. Are you trying to finalize this to an external disk?

WPC - MIME object in web article with anonymous user doesn't work correctly

we have a problem with the Web Page Composer (NW07 SP14 + Patch 01) and contents for anonymous users.
We have define a site with the following elements: article (with text and jpg), paragraph (with text and pdf link) and a jpg image. All texts and the "standalone" jpg (not used in article/paragraph) are displayed correctly. The jpg in the article and the pdf link does not work correctly ("broken" link, PDF link requires a login name ?).
The direct image in the website has the following link:

(short url is turned off for error search...)

Printing Error with second user.

Thanks in advance everyone.
Here is my issue, I have an iBook G4 running 10.3.9 connected to a network printer with two user accounts, The first user account works fine and can print, however the second account cannot. It gives me the "Error Printing" message which is really helpful.
I have tried re-adding the printer, and deleting com.apple.pint... preferences files, and repairing the permissions.
Any insight would be wonderful.

In the second account ~/Library/Printers select the printer and Command + i. to open Get Info and check the *Ownership and permissions* down the bottom, to see if the second user can read and write to that printer.

DSM terminator problem with anonymous user

When I am in the portal as an anonymous user and close the browser, the DSM terminator window is opened showing the logon screen.

OEM 11g login error with sys user.

I have two database in my local host. one is created with dbca and another is manually created.
i am not able to login ONLY with "sys" user in OEM 11g but i can login in sqlplus with the same user(only in database created manually ).

We have claim base WebApplication in SharePoint 2013. Every thing is working fine and user can login site without any problem. Only search result page not working..its given "Sorry, something went wrong "

hello SAP Experts,
I have an error during the Initial setup Solution manager 7.1 SPS3.
I get it at SAP Solution Manager Configuration: System Preparation step 6.1 'Select SLD'.
I filled host, port and password, status of SLD server is green, then I clicked button 'Configure SLD Data Supplier...' I have get new window, to fill in passwords and options.
[SLD users|http://pokazywarka.pl/63hxan/] [SM2CTC & CTC2SM users|http://pokazywarka.pl/mcpakj/] (I logged into the system as a user SOLMAN_ADMIN, SLDDSUSER and SLDAPIUSER).
After I click button 'next' an error occurred:
Error: Execution of Function AGS_SISE_SET_CTC_STATUS ends with an error (message ID: 341, message number: No RFC authorization for function module AGS_SISE_SET_CTC_STATUS.:RFC_NO_AUTHORITY, message text: ).
I have performed tx.Solman_setup as SOLMAN_ADMIN user.
All steps before the an error are finished sucessfully.
I looking for information at Google and SAP notes but can not find anything.

IDoc- userclone05 error with reference user

Hi Guru's
An idoc is in error. message type - userclone , basic type is userclone05.
error - ref user rcf_cand_int does not exist.
the central user is serve ZE2 clnt 050 from where user roles are replicated or users are created in other sstems.
idoc is in server ZS1.
Now can anybody tell me how to check whether this idoc wa creating a user or doing something else.

The Userclone Idoc message type creates users with different roles in receiving systems.
The User data is centrally maintained in teh Sender system from which it is distributed across to various systems.
Transaction SU01 is used to check the Users .
Probably accoring to the error mentioned Users are not created in teh receiving system.Check with Tcode SU01(sender and receiver) and try resending teh Users once again .

LMS 4.1 - dbreader.html -- Authorization error with DB-Users

Hi all,
in our lab-environment we installed LMS 4.1 from scratch.
Trying to connect to eg. ani-db via URL (https://<server>/dbreader/dbreader.html) with user cwsiSA I got error message
stating "Authorization error".
Is that default behavior?
We need SQL-Connect to DB-Tables, as some "self-written" perl-scripts try to collect data.
Are there any steps necessary to enable access to DB-Tables (and Views) ?

Probably the user role is missing this authorization. Go to Admin > System > User Management > Role Management Setup, and make sure the role assigned to this user includes DBreader access. You are looking for Lan Management Solution > Admin > System > DBReader Access.

Error with concurrent users- Activation Passivation Bind variable ?

I have a programmatic view object based on procedure call that returns a ref cursor.
Application Module has a function that exposes get Method for this View object using client interface.
Everything works good until many users call the same Method ,for many concurrent users i got the below error intermittently :
JBO-27122: SQL error during statement preparation.
Attempt to set a parameter name that does not occur in the SQL: bussId
For 1 or 2 users this works perfectly fine.
bussId is a bind variable defined at View object of type Array.
I understand this should be because of activation/passivation as many users calling same function comes to picture.
To solve this I overloaded activateState/passivateState in View implementation for the bind var.
But i don't see those methods getting invoked ever.
I also enabled connection pool/AM pool and kept the default pool values high enough for concurrent users.
Nothing works .
Appreciate any help in this regard.
