Error with Credit Card Address

Whenever I try to log onto the itunes store and set up an account to buy music it says my credit card doesn't match my address when it does, I have sent tech support e-mails, but of course they are useless.
One reply by e-mail said to change my info on the myinfo site, but everytime I try to do that it says there was an error, so I can't change the information there either.
It's pretty bad I am wanting to spend money for stuff and the tech support is horrible.

I have already checked with the company to make sure the address is the same and it is.
As for the error message, there is no number but I get.
"There was an unexpected error with the application.
This problem has been noted, and an email has been sent to the
administrators.
Please continue with the application.
Thank you for your understanding."
I tried editing my profile several days in a row and I still get this, over and over.

Sorry if the option isn't there, I'm with Vodafone UK, it may be airtime supplier specific, but there are afew things I have te option to add payment to my phone contract, sorry if my suggestion is unavailable to you !

You have Acrobat Pro on your system. It will try to open PDFs, and of course it will fail. You must uninstall it. Then, you will need a PDF reader. So install Adobe Reader. That seems quite simple, but perhaps something is wrong. If anything goes wrong with these two steps (1) uninstall Acrobat Pro (2) install Adobe Reader, then please let us know the details.

Error with Credit Card security code

I've been using iTunes for years. A few day ago iTunes (and iPhone) keep asking me to verify my billing info. Even though the card I'm using has been on file and is a working card (I checked with the bank), iTunes keeps telling me that I'm entering the wrong Security Code. I checked, double-checked and triple-checked. All information is correct and the card is functional. This is driving me crazy! Any ideas? Anyone from Apple have any suggestions please?

What do you mean 'give me an example please' ? And 'dont have use a credit card' ?
Unless you follow the instructions on this page when creating a new account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534
then you will need to enter credit card details before the account can be used in the store.
If you don't have a credit card then you will need to create a new account, but this time follow the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it. If you want to use the same email address then you will need to replace it on that account first e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, http://appleid.apple.com, or by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone.

The iTunes gift card field is optional, you don't have to fill it in - leave it blank if you don't have a gift card.
iTunes gift cards are country-specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), and they are not available in all countries - so you might not be able to dill it anyway.

Unless I am mistaken, iTunes Switzerland is far from Swiss and does not encourage its people to watch films in the local languages of its country (at least French and Italian would be good too...). Can anyone help ? Do I have to move to Geneva to watch a non French film in French or Lugano to watch a non Italian film in Italian or simply buy a DVD to get round it?

I have the same problem. I want to watch any movies in French (in the original, or subtitled and/or dubbed). But I cannot seem to find any on iTunes. Does iTunes offer any content in other countries (I live overseas) in the languages of those countries?

Would you maybe be getting a credit card transaction data file format from American Express? Oracle does provide a loader program for the American Express KR-1025 format. After you load the credit card transaction data, then you validate the data. Once validated, employees can enter these credit card transactions on expenrse reports. Though this does not sound like an expense report situation, so perhaps this won't work out for you. So another possibility would be to handle this like a manual payment process. As mentioned in another post, you could look at another payment document type. So you have some choices here. Make sense?

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Problem with credit card verification with firefox 4 (works with safari!)

I recently upgraded to Firefox 4 and tried to book train tickets online. I have done this many times before with earlier Firefox versions. Now however, after being redirected to the card verification page and submitting my security details, instead of confirming my booking Virgin trains asks me to log on again! I thought it was a problem with the website but I subsequently booked the tickets using Safari so I guess that means there is a problem with Firefox 4. Can I go back to the previous version?

I, also, have previously made credit card purchases with Firefox version 3 without any problems.
I only encountered this problem with credit card verification after downloading Firefox 4. I was however able to book tickets successfully, the same day, using Internet Explorer and the card verification went through as normal. I am confident that the problem was due to problems with the new version of Firefox.

This alert is often the result of an issue with verifying your billing.
Quit iTunes.
Open iTunes.
Test the issue.
If it persists, sign in to store.apple.com using your iTunes account
Click on Change account information
Modify or remove your credit card information.
Click Continue.
Test the issue.

OId credit card address? Can't get through to Verizon about this.

I recently moved, which is why I had to change carriers to Verizon wireless (prepaid). However, when I try to set-up autopay, it will only go through if I use my old address as the credit card billing address. If I try to use my new address, which I've already changed with the credit card provider, I get an error saying that the zip codes don't match. The new address has a lower tax rate, so I'd like to get this fixed. I tried calling Verizon and after entering all the numbers into the auto-router, the phone system cut me off. Any ideas about how I can get through to Verizon or how long I have to wait for the new billing address to be able to sync with the Verizon account?

I'm sorry you are having this issue with your auto pay, Sailorgirl81. You mentioned recently changing carriers, is this the first time you have used the credit card with your account or do you have it saved as a previous payment method? If you have previously saved the card, please delete the payment method and input it as a new payment. If you are still unable to use the updated address, please contact our Prepaid department at 888-294-6804.

Apple ID and problems with credit card

Hi, I'm having a lot of problems with the credit card registered to my ID.
I always made purchases with the card registered but now I get an error message which is as follows:
"Your payment method was not accepted. Please enter valid information for payment."
I've always used the same card VISA PostePay to buy app on iTunes Store but recently I'm getting this message. How can I fix? Thanks.

Firstly, make sure that your card is not close to the expiration date listed with your card registration. Next, take a look at your iTunes linked Credit Card information in all regards. Ensure that your Apple ID and Credit Card information indeed is identical with regard to Name, Address, Postal Codes, etc. Also, if you are an Apple Store Online Customer make certain that your Profile information is all, again identical to your other linked data regarding that particular Credit Card. There may be some different information somewhere that is giving you this intermittent problem. Check Your Credit Report and ensure there are no open disputes or recent file data that is in error.
