Error With Exchange Connector
Hi,
I installed the Exchange Connector (SCSM 2012 SP1), but
does not work and displays the following error:

Microsoft.SystemCenter.ExchangeConnector.resources.dll,
Microsoft.SystemCenter.ExchangeConnector.dll and
Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.dll
to the directory:
C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft
System Center 2012 \ Service Manager
but it still did not work.

Hello everybody,
we have installed scsm 2012 r2 (UR 3) with exchange connector 3. We have connected the connector by the workflow Account (domain user "servicedesk" is in local admin group of the sm server and in the sm Administrators group) and have access
to the mailbox on exchange (2010; autodiscovery is working correct). We receive all mails in the servicedesk mailbox on restarting the sm services and see the mails in the opm logs. But no incidents are created and the connector stays in "never
tun" state and does not receive mails any More after the first start. What do we have missed to check? Beste regards Thomasi have added the registry keys.

The recent software update on my HTC One has caused errors with Exchange ActiveSync issues. Calendar, mail and tasks sync fine but contacts won't sync. How do you correct this?
I had the same problem. Here is what worked for me. Open the mail app and delete your exchange account (Settings > Delete Account). Then re-add your Exchange account. After this my Exchange contacts showed up again.

I have a problem with Reminders.
I have an Exchange account setup on my computer and iPhone and Reminders has worked well on the iPhone (and still does). Now that Reminders is available on the Mac I have encountered a problem with it. I can create reminders on my Mac but can't clear them. I get an error message saying; Calendar can't save the reminder "xxx" to the Exchange server. I can still mark them as complete on my iPhone and they duely get marked as complete on the Mac. I can add and delete events from the same calendar without a problem
I should add that I could mark tasks as completed in the previous version of iCalI've narrowed my problem down a little more. Seems that I got the error for two birthday reminders for contacts that were created originally via the Outlook 2010 (on Windows) Linkedin Social Media Connector. This information was sync'd with Exchange and is now sync'd to the Calendar app because it seems to take the birthdays out of any contact records where its populated and make a Calendar entry out of them.
I went and deleted the two birthday reminders that were the subject of the error messages, refreshed the Calendars and now the errors have cleared. It is very strange because many other contacts still have these birthday Calendar entries, however I think it might be becoming an issue only when the birthday reminder is set off.
Not sure that this is the same issue for others but worth a closer look. -

Error to provisioned with Exchange Connector
hi , i have a problem with the following enviroment :
OIM 9.1.0.1
jboss 4.2.3.GA
11g
I have to integrate exchange but I cant provision, the AD Server is local (VM Workshop), AD is provisining suscesfulling using SSL.
I have installled EXCHANGE 2003, in which when i create an user manually in AD and give it an Exchange account, then i can log and sene and receive
mails with Microsoft Outlook.
The exchange conector is MSFT_Exchange_91110 and the AD conector is MSFT_AD_Base_91100.
More details:
In the deploy conector, i follow the guide deployment steps. I installed the remote Manager (to Exchange 2003 is not necessary)but it diden´t provioned
anywhere.
In the begining of the deploy i try to reconciliate the Mail Store with the Schedule Task Exchange Mail Store Lookup Reconciliation, with the
following error:
14:32:15,514 ERROR [STDERR] Exception in thread "DefaultQuartzScheduler_Worker-1"
14:32:15,514 ERROR [STDERR] java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.thortech.xl.integration.ActiveDirectory.tcADUtilLDAPController.<init>

ashMap;Ljava/util/HashMap;Lcom/thortech/xl/dataaccess/tcDataProvider;LThor/API/Operations/tcLookupOperationsIntf;)V
i think that i have configured somethin wrong, the lookup Lookup.ExchangeReconciliation.MailStore is empty, and i think that is a mandatory field.
Investigating from my System Manager of Exchange Server, i noticed that Mail Store is : "TEN/First Storage Group/Mailbox Store (TEN)",so i fill all the
fields manually with the following values:
1 code: TEN/First Storage Group/Public Folder Store (TEN)
decode: TEN/First Storage Group/Public Folder Store (TEN)
2 code: Mailbox Store (TEN)/First Storage Group/(TEN)/
decode: CN=Mailbox Store (TEN),CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=TEN,
3 code: TEN/First Storage Group/Mailbox Store (TEN)
decode: TEN/First Storage Group/Mailbox Store (TEN)
4 code: TEN/Mailbox Store (TEN)
decode: CN=Mailbox Store (TEN),CN=TEN,
5 code: TEN/First Storage Group/Mailbox Store (TEN)/
decode: CN=Mailbox Store (ten),CN=First Storage Group,CN=ten,DC=mydomain,DC=com,
6 code: 1~Mailbox Database/First Storage Group/BLAH-DEV-MBX-01/Servers/Exchange Administrative Group/Administrative Groups/BLAH/Microsoft
Exchange/Services/Configuration/DC=BLAHDEVAD/DC=COM
decode: AD TBR~CN=Mailbox Database,CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=BLAH-DEV-MBX-01,CN=Servers,CN=Exchange Administrative
Group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=BLAH,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=BLAHDEVAD,DC=COM
Nothing of that solutions worked, following the code (uncompiling de jar), the number 5 is the closest to provision, and the error is the following:
14:47:02,093 ERROR [MEXC] com.thortech.xl.integration.ActiveDirectory.tcADUtilLDAPController : connectToAvailableAD : Empty Arguments Passed in either
Root Context,Admin FQDN,Admin Password,Server Address,Port Number in the IT Resource.

tcADUtilLDAPController::connectToAvailableAD():Empty Arguments Passed in either Root Context,Admin FQDN,Admin Password,Server Address,Port Number in the
IT Resource.
but the AD IT Resource is working fine with the correct Root Context,Admin FQDN,Admin Password,Server Address,Port Number!!
i Apreciate your help and sory for my English!
Thanks!!How about the ldapbp.jar that needs to go into the third party folder? (sorry if I got the jar name wrong)
The error message indicates that OIM can't find one of the JNDi classes and that points towards a jar not being in the correct directory.
Please check that all jars are where they are supposed to be.

User not found error with Outlook Connector
Hi all
I am having some issues with the Outlook Connector (Version 7.1.222.4 JES2005Q4 running on Microsoft Outlook 2003) when trying to subscribe to a users calendar.
Details:
(SJES2005Q4)
Server 1 - Access Manager
Server 1 - Delegated Administrator
Server 2 - Directory Server 5.2
Server 3 - Messenger Server
Server 3 - Calendar Server
Server 3 - Access Manager SDK
Server 3 - Communications Express
Server 3 - Messenger Express
My setup works fine, I can subscribe to users calendars in Communications Express and modify/delete etc; however, when I try to subscribe to this same users calendar in Outlook I get the following error:
"User not found. Either enter the email id of the user OR click on Search and then click on Find to locate the user."
If I click on search, I get a list of my corporate directory, here I am able to select the user but again clicking ok gives the same result.
Looking at the logs it seems that the search at the point where I click ok is missing the "organizational unit" element of the user DN, logs below:

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
PS: This is also posted in the IMS mailing list, so apologises for duplication to people who visit both forums. The error was fixed by setting the "Authenticated proxy binding: service.wcap.userprefs.ldapproxyauth" to "yes", this is in the release notes as pointed out by Arnaud Quillaud.

MailBox Move Error With Exchange 2010 sp3
I initiated a mailbox move for a specific mailbox and let it run all night. The next day, the user stated he cannot log into is mailbox and the error stated "mailbox is moving, check back later".
Exchange stated the status of the move is "CompletedWithError". I noticed that the mailbox is still in the old database.
I tried to remove the move request and received an error "couldn't find a move request that corresponds to this identity".
I rebooted the exchange server.
Exchange still shows the user in the old database
There is no move requests in exchange
The user is still experiencing the same error "You weren't able ti sign in because the mailbox is being move"
I tried to initiated another move and received:

At this point, when trying to access the mailbox, exchange states its being moved... when trying to remove the move... Exchange does not see the move.
any help is appreciated,Hi Cudflyn,
Base on my search, you can try to increase the TCP Keep Alive Time for the servers involved in the move. You can refer to the following
article to increase it:
Mailbox Move Error - 'Couldn't switch the mailbox into Sync Source mode'
Note: Just REMEMBER to DELETE the registry entry when the mailbox moves are compete!

When I try to replace the Colloborationconnector with ROLES I get no error but the detail navigation is empty...
Can anyone provide some hints on this to launch the detaill navigation.
-RudhrasJames,
The reason you are experiencing this problem is due to the JCO API caching the Request and Response XML structures from the BAPI/RFC. If you restart the servlet-exec service (Restart xMII) then this will clear the cache and the refresh will load the proper version of the BAPI/RFC.
Hope this helps.

Certificate errors with Exchange 2013 and Outlook 2013
Hello, I wonder if someone could help.
I've recently set up a network with one Windows 2012 domain controller and one windows 2012 server running Exchange 2013.
Clients run Outlook 2013 and are all one the same Lan. Outlook's setup wizard finds the exchange server automatically and sets up the profile. However if I choose the manual setup and enter the server
name and user name it does not find the server.
When I check the server name in Outlook it shows as
[email protected] rather than the real name of the server: AYCEX01.AYC.local.
When Outlook is opened there is a certificate error saying "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site." and another error saying "There is
a problem with the server's security certificate. The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the target site mail.ardfernyacht.co.uk. Outlook is unable to connect to the proxy server. (Error code 10)
The external address by which users connect to OWA and active sych is mail.ardfernyacht.co.uk. The
certificate which is used is one automatically generated by Exchange.
Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Ruaridh
Ruaridh MackintoshSelf sign cert wont work With autodiscover. For that you need 3rd part or from Your own CA.
Please follow this guide to install CA in Your domain:
http://careexchange.in/how-to-install-certificate-authority-on-windows-server-2012/
Please follow this guide to request New cert in Exchange 2013:
http://exchangeserverpro.com/create-ssl-certificate-request-exchange-2013/
Your cert must contain external hostname of Your mail.domain.com
Also configure Your Virtual directories to contain internal and external hostname:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mvpawardprogram/archive/2013/03/18/virtual-directories-exchange-2013.aspx
Regarding servername when using autodiscover,it should automatically resolve mailbox guid instead of servername.
Please check if Your DNS is setup With autodiscover.domain.local (which is pointed to Your Exchange server)
Hope this helps!

Outlook save/update error with Exchange 2013 public folder used as Contact Items
Hello Everybody.
This problem is driving me crazy.
In Exchange 2013 i have created a public folder with several subfolders used as Contact Items.
I've reviewed all settings several times and all is ok.
Outlook 2010/2013 users several times receive the message:
"The item cannot be saved to this folder. The folder was deleted or moved, or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of it in the default folder for the item?"
when try save an existing contact after modification.
I can assure you that user permissions, server configurations are ok; please, help me.Did you make the subfolder the correct type, i.e., a contacts-type folder?

Exchange Connector 3.0 not processing Office 365 mailbox
Hi,
I have Service Manager 2012 SP1 configured with Exchange Connector 3.0. The mailbox to be monitored is in Office 365. everything was running fine last week until I removed the federation trust and connectors from our On-premise Exchange servers as part of
the On-premise Exchange server decommissioning process to remove the Exchange Hybrid configuration.
Now the Exchange Connector does not monitor the mailbox of the configured user in the "run as account", no new incidents are displayed when users sent an email to the run as account. No errors are logged in the Event Viewer for the Exchange Connector.
Any suggestions?Hi,
Set up the detailed logging and then see in the Operations Manager's log what happens when the Exchange Connector is running.
Cheers,
Marat

Exchange Connector adds Workflow user as related Item to Review Activity
We use Servcie Manager 2012 R2 with Exchange Connector 2.0
For some reason, the Exchange Connector adds the workflow user to the review activity as a related config item. The sender of the email would make sence, but the workflow user does not.
Does the Exchange Connector 3.0 Rerelease also add the workflow user?
Is there a possibility to avoid this behavior?
tia
Patrick WahlmüllerHi Patrik !
Never saw that before, what i can say is that the upgrade/change to Exchange COnnector 3.0 is easy low-risk and you add MS-Support possibilities for it.
Go for 3.0 !
