Error With Installation CD (Zen Mic

Hello,
I have recently received a Zen Micro. I attempted to load the software on my computer from the Installation CD provided. When my computer reads the CD the Creative logo comes up and then a screen comes up that says to click the arrow button to begin installation. When I click the arrow button after a few seconds a error message comes up saying the following:
"DemoShield Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
It then goes on to say that they have created a error report, I have chosen not to send the report.
No matter what I try the error still appears. Any advice?

    I am sorry to hear that.
    Here are a few things that I suggest you try:
    Grant Full Control for SYSTEM, NETWORK SERVICE and Administrator on C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\networkservice folder.
    If you have Windows Process Activation service installed on the machine, uninstall it.
    Open required RPC ports.

  • Errors with Installation of OER 11.1.1.5

    All
    trying to install OER 11.1.1.5.
    The installation works fine, including Db setup. schema install etc..
    Installing a base domain with the config.sh also works no problem at all
    But when I try to create an OER domain (not extending an existing domain, haven't tried that)
    the domain creation fails with a jython script error.
    I'll get the details and append this post, but I was wondering if this was
    a known problem

    we have the following problem by installing the SAP R/3 4.6C on Windows 64 Bit:

    Can some one help me?

  • Problem with running the midlet class (Error with Installation suite )

    i have problem with running the midlet class(BluetoothChatMIDlet.java)
    it keep showing me the same kind of error in the output pane of netbeans...

    i did that but also didnt work out..
    could any1 teach me how to fix it...

    actually, i do my FYP on bluetooth chatting...
    and there will be more than two emulators running at the same time..
    one of my frens said that if u want to run more than one emulator u just simply click on run button..
    and it will appear on the screen..

              In step 6 it says that classpath must start with connector.jar and
              welogic60J2eeConnector.jar. But if I do that then the following
              fatal error occurs. But if the jar files are after weblogic_sp.jar
              and weblogic.jar then there is no problem with starting the server.
              How can I avoid the error? Thanks.

    I had the trail version of 10 installed, decided to wait and get 11, and it errors every time I try to install.   Any ideas? 10 installed no problem.

    PSE 10 trial should not affect the installation of PSE 11 .
    I am assuming you are getting the error related to Shared technology installtion problem .
    Please restart your system and then install .

  • Error with installation of EX Edition

    I am trying to install expresses edition and was successful also. I am able to run sql+ and isql but when i run enterprise database managment tool on the browser it says server not found. i ran emca also and started the service but still i am getting the error. If anyone else has face the problem and know the solution kindly let me know

  • Error with installation

    When I download any of the updates 11.0-2 to 11.0.0-3, I get an error message saying I can't ope nthe patcher app because it was not downloaded from the Apple App Store.
    Mavricks, AE CS6 version 11 (which won't open ).
    Any clever soul know a workaround for this nonsense?

    I've been trying to patch my CS6 to work with Mavericks for weeks now.
    Spent four hours on the phone and Adobe Connect with Tech support yesterday, I got the impression the guy gave up (told me to reinstall Mavericks and try a clean reinstall, which i did, no go)
    Very annoyed because it seems I've wasted £165 on the upgrade to CS6, nearly a week of labour trying to patch the ^&$*&^ thing, and the result seems to be I have to continue asking my clients to down-save any AE docs to CS5.5 before I can work on them.
    Very disappointed.

  • Errors with installation Disc 2

    i tried to reinstall Tiger since it appeared that the OS needed to be reloaded to resolve another problem, which is that the apple bar disappeared. Now when i get to disc 2, it tells me there are errors and I have to try again. I've followed all of the useful advice on this thread, reset the PRAM, etc but still have the same problem after innumerable attempts to reinstall. Yes, I did clean the disc, and before today it was used exactly once.

    Did you not try this one from that link?
    Use the Customize Install option to reduce the Fonts, Printer Drivers, Languages, and Applications to a minimum, so disk 2 never gets asked for.
    Second install disk won't work...
    There've been many reports of this, some had the disks replaced by Apple and it worked, some didn't.
    A workaround is to reduce the number of Languages, Printer, Drivers, Fonts, and APPs until it no longer needs Disk 2 for the install.

  • Critical Error with installation

    "Critical errors were found in setup
    - You cannot install this product because a conflicting

    I guess I have to wipe something from my hard drive but I'm
    not sure what. I don't know what they mean by Setup log file so I
    don't know how to check that. This error message has been keeping
    me from installing Dreamweaver CS3.

    I too hit this error.  I have  a customer that has a current 8.6(2) install, and wants to upgrade to 10.5.  We are doing this on a UCS C260 server.
    We were attempting to load this on the 10.5 OVA.  After looking over the thread above, I noted the adapter type change made by manuelmtzdominguez.  I started looking at this, and sure enough, the adapter type is seems to be the root cause. 
    The OVA for an 8.6 machine uses an adapter type "flexible", but the adapter type on the 10.5 OVA is using VMXNET3.  On the 10.5 OVA, the only available options are VMXNET3 and E1000.  Flexible isn't an option.
    In my case, I'm simply going to install it on the 8.6 OVA, and then use Prime Deployment to run the upgrade to 10.5 (to get everything just right). 
    Moral of the story is, I guess, check the adapter types since apparently some options are not supported on older versions.

    I need help and will appreciate it! iphoto became inactive and I had to delete and re-install the software ilife 11 to no avail! After some reseach I discovered that I need to download and install the patch to resolve the problem. I downloaded the patch iphoto update 9.4.2 and when installing the patch I received an errod code 4960 please below screen print and assit me resolve this.

    Try a restart.
    Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.
    Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
    Isolating an issue by using another user account
    If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account.  Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

  • MSI 1612 Error with ZEN 7 SP1

    Since upgrading to ZENworks for Desktops 7, I have been unable to
    distribute MSI applications. I always seem to have an error 1612 when
    the application tries to distribute. I believe that this error usually
    means that the path to the installation files cannot be found, usually
    because of a file rights issue, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
    I distribute most applications by associating them to workstations or
    workstations in a container, though I have the same 1612 error if I do
    associate by user. I have the same problem whether the Distribute in
    Workstation Security Space if Workstation Associated option is enabled
    or disabled.
    I typically use the File Rights screen under the Common tab to assign
    rights to the distribution files directory, so I know that the
    workstation object has rights to the files. Just to test this, I
    created an app object to run an Explorer window as an unsecured system
    user and made sure that I could browse to the distribution directory as
    the System account.
    I am currently running ZENworks 7 SP1 on a NetWare 6.5 SP5 server. All
    workstations are running Windows XP Pro SP2.
    As an experiment, I tried working around the problem by creating a
    simple application object and running an MSI installation by calling
    msiexec from a predistribution script as follows:

    Installing this way seems to work fine.
    Any ideas what is going wrong?

    For running SharePoint Designer 2013, you need to install Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework or higher.
    Please uninstall the Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework, and install it again. After that, reboot your machine.
