Error XLS000009 while Previewing dashboard

HI All,
While previewing the dashboard, we are facing error XLS000009, saying
connection timeout.We are using SAP BO Dashboard 4.1 . Please find the below snapshot:
The same is happening while publishing the dashboard in repository(BI Launchpad). On searching about the error, we got very little to know about it from the SAP
document.It only suggests to try again but not the root cause of the problem.
Is there any known specific cause of this error.Or we should just hide the error message under query properties?

There might be connection issue. so, Please check the universe connection. If there is no issue with the connection, Try this
1) Develop a simple webi report on the same universe which you have used in dashboards with 2 dimensions and 1 measure and check whether can you be able to run the report or not.

AIR error message while previewing

Hi,
I am using Captivate 5, running on Windows 7 (32-bit) OS, with 4 Gigs RAM.
When previewing a Captivate moview, by pressing F4 key, Captivate throws an error in a pop-up window, titled "Adobe AIR". The message reads: This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance. (Screenshot attached below).
This has started to appear since past two weeks. Before that Captivate was working fine. I didn't install ANYTHING, or did not do any type of hardware/software modifications. It started all of a sudden. However, preview in browser (F12) works OK.
I tried re-installing Captivate, it worked. After 2 days, the Captivate installation was again back to same error.
Even tried un-installing ALL Adobe software, used the "Adobe Cleanup" utility after that, and then re-installed everything back again. This worked, but again after 2 days, the same problem persists.
Tried updating AIR from adobe's website, but of no avail.
With this error appearing, Captivate hangs during screen capture too, and the welcome screen does not appear even though the option is checked in "Preferences".
I guess the only thing left out is to re-format my machine and re-load everything. But, unfortunately I am already in middle of some very tight timelines and don't have the time to spend a day in re-configuring the machine.
Will appreciate any / all helps. Thanks in advance!

Flash Player 11.1 was only released quite recently, around the time you mention that your systme started to act strangely.
Flash player updates can be silent, meaning that you wouldn't know they were being done.
We've had some other issues with Captivate 4 not being compatible with Flash Player 11. So I'm just flagging it as a possible cause here as well.
One way to test whether the version of Flash Player is doing something to cause your issue would be to uninstall it and roll back to install the last Flash Player 10 version. You can get these version installs from the Adobe website. I would certainly attempt this BEFORE you go to all the trouble of wiping your system and installing everything.
Same deal with AIR. It might be that having the latest version of Air is the problem, not the solution.

Error occured while previewing LCA

Hi Folks,
I got a sample LCA from Developer center examples and trying to deploy of the Server ES 2.5 (turnkey installation with JBOSS AS). When i choose this LCA file for deployment in Application Management, and then previewed, leading to an error message as follows
Error previewing archive: 'org.omg.CORBA.TRANSIENT: Retries exceeded, couldn't reconnect to 192.168.1.3:3528 vmcid: 0x0 minor code: 0 completed: No'
please suggest me why this is happening.

Hi Ychinnari,
Reporting Services provides a special account that is used for unattended report processing and for sending connection requests across the network. The account is used in the following ways:
Send connection requests over the network for reports that use database authentication, or connect to external report data sources that do not require or use authentication.
Retrieve external image files that are used in report. If you want to use an image file and the file cannot be accessed through Anonymous access, you can configure the unattended report processing account and grant the account permission to access the file.
According to the error message, password of unattended execution account has expired. To troubleshoot the problem, please refer to the following steps:
Start the Reporting Services Configuration tool and connect to the report server instance you want to configure.
On the Execution Account page, select Specify an execution account.
Type the account and password, retype the password, and then click Apply.
If credentials are passed in the connection string, you need to modify password of the connection string.

Exchange Office Web Apps Preview Does not work in OWA. An error occurred while the document preview was being created

I have managed to configure intergration between Office Web App server 2013 and Exchange 2013 OWA.
I have created a test users Test1 and Test 2. I have given full access on Test2 mailbox to user test 1.
When I login to owa for user test1 and preview the attachment it works fine.
However when I use "Open another mailbox" in OWA and open test2 mailbox and try to preview the attachments in test2 inbox it errors as
" An error occurred while the document preview was being created. Please try again later " as follows
I am new to office web apps server 2013 and implemented it first time. Can anyone suggest resolutions or troubleshooting ?

To narrow down the cause, I’d like to recommend the following troubleshooting:
1. Does the error appear when you directly access test 2 mailbox through OWA?
2. Check if there is 141 error in your event log.
3. Check whether Office web app server connects with Exchange server when the issue happens.

4. Grant full access permission again and check the result.

An error occurred while applying your dashboard selections for this page???

Hi there,
I'm getting this error on the dashboard page.
"An error occurred while applying your dashboard selections for this page" Error Codes: GV3MWW29
It is removed when I click "Clear my selection" from page option.
Is there any other way to remove the error without clicking "Clear My selction" everytime.

Have you saved your selections by selecting 'Saved Current Selections'? When do you get this error?

Error while previewing the BIP report

While previewing the report in BI Publishr desktop,i am getting the following error.
JAVA EXECUTION FAILED.PLEASE CHECK THE JAVA OPTION IN OPTION DIALOG BOX.
WINDOWS CANNOT FIND 'C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\+USER+\LOCAL'.MAKE SURE YOU TYPED THE NAME CORRECTLY AND THN TRY AGAIN.TO SEARCH FOR A FILE,CLICKTHE START BUTTON, AND THEN CLICK SEARCH.
I have JDK version 6 installed in my system.
I have already checked for the java option in oracle bi publisher-->>options-->>java home.
still i am getting the above error.

I have put this option but it is not resolving the issue.
Now when i click on preview,it is giving error :
Windows cannot find "C:/Documents and settings/asingh93/Local".Make sure you type name correctly ,and then try again"
But i dont know from where it is searching for this local folder and why.

Hi Kamlesh,
Have you tried the following:
Deactivate the cockpit in your Business One database - Disable My Cockpit and also disable cockpit in General Settings
Run EventSender Setup (in first step try to avoid using localhost or IP addresses)
In third step press Test Connection, in fourth step make sure that your database is checked, press also Receiver but ton and then Test Connecion.
Finish EventSender setup.
Click on SLD in the B1i Framwork and ensure connection to the Company databsae (B1DI and JDBC) is successful.
Go back to B1i Framework UI, click Scenarios in upper menu, then select Control in left menu and (re)activate Xcelsius scenario.
Restart EventSender service, Integration Service and Proxy services via Servies (Computer Management)
Now you can enable cockpit in your Business One database - enable cockpit in General Settings and then enable My Cockpit.
After installation of B1ic, the company is not listed in the SLD
Delete all entries of table SLSP and SLSPP in SBOCOMMON. Restart integration service. In SAP Business refresh the company list.
These solutions are documented in the attached Note 1619422.

System.AccessViolationException Error while previewing report in ASP NET

We are getting "System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory." while previewing the report in ASP NET Application. It is working fine in 3 enviornments but the problem is happening in production enviornment.
Tools Used : VS2005, CR XI R2, SQL Sever 2005

Deleting the temp directory contents then provide read permission to IISWPG process for "temp" directory or just for testing purpose you can provide the full rights.

"An error occurred connecting to this data source. Please check the data source for any unsaved changes and click on Test Data Source button to confirm connection to the data source."
Also getting the below error in Even Viewer.

Please check whether activate the PerformancePoint Services Site Features.
Or try to increase the max limit for excel services to required level. By default its 10MB and the powerpivot files are much larger.
SharePoint Central Administration, and go to Application Management > Manage Service Applications > ExcelServiceApp > Trusted File Locations and click on the appropriate Address. Under the Workbook Properties section you will see a Maximum Workbook
Size.

Web Analysis 9.3.1: Error occured while opening document. Document ID = {0}

Hi Experts,
I am having an issue while opening a web analysis dashboard report. When I try opening it, web analysis runs for about 15 mins & then throws following error:
Error occured while opening document. Document ID = {0}
The report opens with its header having company log & two buttons, but data grid remains empty.
The source of Grid is Essbase. The tunning parameters in Essbase.cfg file are in place.
Could anyone please through more observation on this issue. Let me know if any further information is needed!.
Kindly suggest me any way to resolve it.

The isapi (if you use one) timeout setting might be smaller than the time essbase needs to retrieve te information.
but most probably the analysis applicationserver jre heapsize is either to small or needs to much time to allocate it. Be sure to increase heapsize and set max equal to min (try 800mb, if your hardware has that resource)

Thanks for your reply to my query posted in this forum. Please find my inline answers between asterisk to your questions:
Whatz the source of your Grid? Relational SQL Query (OR) A spreadsheet with Essbase database connection file?
* Yes, the source is Essbase.*
If source is Essbase, it seems- Outline might've got altered when you're trying to refresh the report.
* The outline was in tandem when we tried running this report in WebAnalysis. This outline & WebAnalysis report which is in Dev Server is a replica of the one in Test Server where it runs fine. *
If source is based on a Relational SQL query, chances are that- Query is no longer valid.
* NA as this statement is NOT applicable to our source.*
If it's Essbase, it's also likely that- It ran out of time while fetching the data from Essbase. You may try playing around with the parameters in Essbase.cfg file.
* This might be one of the causes, but I double checked the all the tunning parameters in Essbase.cfg file in place.*
Could you please through more observation on this issue. Let me know if any further information is needed!.

Bypass the error messages while opening the Web Analysis 9.3.1 Report

I am using WA 9.3.1 to create a few reports. The login users will have some essbase meta-read security filters to restrict the access into certain regions and entities.
For example:
user a has the meta-read and read access of @idescendants (east);
user b has the meta-read and read access of @idescendants (west);
user c has all the accesses
However, in the first start-up page (Web Analysis 9.3.1 dashboard), I have a dashboard which contains all the regions access. When user a login, he shall only see his own dashboard (speedometers, etc.).
Currently the user login will get some error messages (such as "loading document produce error", etc). I wonder whether we can set the message level in Web Analysis so that there is no such error message while the user is opening the reports.

Thanks for the reply.
I have checked my Web Analysis report, and I still have the error message of "Error Occur while opening document. Document ID = {0}" while using the some user id to login.
In my Web Analysis database connection preference, my setting is "user the user id and password". I have verified this (when I use "user a" to login, and in essbase connection, i can see the session with "user a").
In the WA report, however, I use the multiple-level combo box, so that it can give me different levels of entities, for example, the top level is all regions, the 2nd level is east/west/south/ ec, and the next level is cities, and so on. And if "user a" login, he will be able to see the all regions and east, and then east cities (of course, if he select all regions, there will be no data available).
Do you think this multiple level combo boxes can be the cause of this error message?
