Error: "You are not connected to a company"  in deployment site

This error only occours in the deployment site, in development I have no such error.
In the deployment site all the software is installed in the same machine.
This is a WebService developed internally with VStudio .NET,in c# , and we are using SAP BO to connect to DB. In my machine  it works just fine.
Any one can help?

Thanks any way,
I solved the problem by accessing then "Component Services", "Computers", on "My Computer" righ click on properties, then on the tab "Default Properties" I've selected "Enable COM Internet Services on this computer", and... on the "COM Security" I've granted access to "everyone" on both permissions settings.
Now its working just fine.

  • You are not connected to the internet error

Recently, my old Apple iMac 9.1 - OS X V10.5.8 - stopped connecting to the internet with error message "You are not connected to the Internet".
Having checked all other devices on the WIFI network, there seems to be is no reason for issue.
Now utilising ethernet cable, but with same error message.
Is there any I am missing or a possible virus closing out all connections ...
Can someone please provide any guidance ...

The rule is, your Mac will try to send packets bound for the Internet to the Topmost Interface on
    System Preference > Network
Be sure to re-order them so that Ethernet is on top if that is what  you intend to use:

  • "itunes could not contact the ipod software update server because you are not connected to the internet" Help?

Hello all, new to the forums.
I've been recieving the error message "itunes could not contact the ipod software update server because you are not connected to the internet". This problem didn't occur at all for the past 2 years of using itunes.
I've already scanned through numerous websites and forums for help, but none of them worked.
This  set of instructions resulted in no change to any of the problems, though iTunes lists that as the supposed solution.
    # Open Internet Options from control panel.
    # Click the Connections tab.
    # Click the LAN Settings button.
    # Select the Automatically detect settings checkbox.
Others include installing IE7, which that didn't work either.
    Can anyone help?

  • "You are not connected to the internet"....sometimes.

I've had to write this in IE on XP in Parallels as it is the only reliable way I can access the web. Since upgrading to 10.6, Safari (and Firefox to a lesser extent) has been giving me frequent (and instant) "You are not connected to the internet" errors. If I try another site I may get there straight away and then re-trying the original site may get me there. Or not. Very intermittent. Also, when finally accessed some sites aren't rendering properly. Right now in Safari I have Apple's site up with 18 errors, no graphics, default fonts, no layout. Activity shows the errors as "This computer's internet connection appears to be" - the rest of the message cannot be seen.
The other way I could have posted this is to use my wife's MacBook running 10.5 - no problems there. It's almost like it wants an instant DNS lookup and if that isn't forthcoming it spits. But then, why "not connected"? Wouldn't it be "Server cannot be contacted"? What is it that prompts Safari to believe the internet is not connected. This is a major pain!

This is interesting! Something is not correct here. Either the time I took to back-up on Time Machine prior to installing OS X 10.6 caused my MacBook Pro to overheat overnight or the OS X 10.6 has a problem with the ethernet card or internet. To clarify, I have yesterday and today upgraded a MacBook Pro, iMac and MiniMac with OS X 10.6. The only problem I have is the MacBook Pro will not connect to the internet via cable to the router. All the machines including the MacBook Pro connect via ethernet or WiFi to my network no problem. The MacBook Pro even connects to the internet via WiFi but not ethernet. So I suspect overheating!. See what transpires when I start it up again.

  • Safari: You are not connected to the internet (... I am!)

Safari has decided not to like me recently, and frequently presents me with the message "You are not connected to the internet" when using a wireless connection.
On my network there is a Windows PC (wired), an iBook and a PowerMac, both 802.11G (and both up to date). The PowerMac was previously hooked up with CAT5 and no problems existed.
I know that Safari is incorrectly showing this error, as other apps such as Adium, Colloquy, Transmission... and even the Windows PC are still able to connect to, and use the internet whilst Safari presents the message.
I am using a NetGear DG834G router, with the latest firmware installed.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing the problem?

Hi! -- I'm a V.A.N. -- Very Advanced Newbie (since 1985!) -- so I probably cannot help you solve the problem. However, I do have the same issue except with a twist. I CANNOT get on the internet with Safari or Omniweb, but I CAN get on with Mozilla. I thought it was my t-mobil connections at my Starbucks office(s), but Mozilla works. Strangely, I could not get Mail to access the internet either until I got on with Mozilla. All through, Network Diagnostics said the connection was working, but Safari, Mail and OmniWeb would not. I wonder what Mozilla has, or does not have, that the others do, or don't? I'm pretty attached to staying with Safari, so I hope someone can find a solution. -- Thanks for listening, DSLyoga

    Kirk,
One correction, you can access the same Internet Options from the Control Panel without opening Internet Explorer. These are the global internet/proxy settings for the computer.
Are you using a router by any chance? If so which model?
I found the following on another thread and it worked
    for me.
    Problem solved:
    1.) Open Internet Explorer (6.x or 7.0 Beta 3)
2.) Click on Tools -> Internet Options
3.) Click on the Connections Tab
4.) Click on the LAN Settings button
    5.) Check Automatically Detect Settings
6.) Click on OK -> OK
    7.) Reload iTunes
    8.) Update
    Thanks!!!

  • Suddently can't browse internet... "You are not connected to Internet"

It has been now 2 months that I have an issue with internet with my Macbook Pro.
I am connected to Internet and browsing internet, however suddenly and without any reason Safari/Firefox give me a message you are not connected to internet. However, MSN or YM are still working fine
It happened to me with both Airport and Ethernet connection but only with my specific provider (but only in my macbook pro, not in my pc or iphone)
When the problem occurs, I run a network diagnostic and found the following
    - Pinging an address that need DNS won't work (ping www.facebook.com ==> error: host unknown)
    - DNS lookup however working: lookup www.facebook.com ==> 66.220.145.10
    - Pinging 66.220.145.10 is working
    - any traceroute on IP numeric address is working, however when it need DNS it is not working (traceroute www.facebook.com: unknown host)
The workaround I found is to disable and enable again the interface to make it working...
Did someone have experience the issue?
    Regards, Bernard

    Me too.  What a pain!

  • HT201210 My partner updated iphone 5, and it now shows 'Connect to iTunes'. Then we get 'iTunes could not contact iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet'. Please help.

iPhone 5 was updated (version unknown), and now screen shows 'Connect to iTunes.  When we try to do this, we get message 'iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet'.
Please tell me how I fix this problem.
    Thanks

Yes, the reason you are getting the error is the phone cannot provide internet for the laptop and then update itself. It would lose connection as you erase the firmware and try to update. You need to connect the computer to the Internet in some other fashion before you connect the phone to try and fix the update problem. As Ocean20 says, and I completely agree, how would you think you could use the Internet connection of a device that is not only going to turn off and on, but is going to get completely wiped of firmware and restored? It would completely remove the device from the equation here. Does that make sense to you?

    Hey ksgrech,
I found the following information which may be of assistance in troubleshooting this error on a Mac:

  • TS1814 iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the Internet.

I have attempted all of the above suggestions and am still receiving the same error message. I have also turned my internet security off and have received the same message. I am using a dongle for my internet, would this make a difference?

Okay I haven't been able to update my iPhone ever since I updated my iTunes to the 8.0 version either! I just followed your instructions and changed the setting on my control panel and then asked to update and it started updating and after about 10 seconds it popped up with the same message that iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update because you are not connected to the internet. Check back or try again later or whatever. So I went back to the Internet Connections to make sure that my changes saved and they did but it still will not update my phone...this is soooo frustrating!!!! Please help!

  • Change / Customize the "You are not connected to the Internet" screen?

Well the title says it really. *I'd like to change the page Safari displays when not connected to the Internet.* Working for a business that sells Macs, I'd prefer something that looks a little nicer when the network is down.
    I know that it's a Localizable.strings file...
    (located here: Safari.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Localizable.strings )
*But if I change the wording in the file, when trying to load up the error page, I'm presented with "localized string not found".*
    Any ideas? Thanks.

I screwed the edit up but: duplicate the file to be safe before the edit and only edit 2nd text area after =,
/* title of error page displayed for NotConnectedToInternet */
    "You are not connected to the Internet." = "You are not connected to the Internet because you haven't paid your bill.";

  • ITunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet...???

    Ok I’m completely lost here....
I’m running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 (Build 2600), I updated iTunes to 11.0.2.25 and some other updates for windows last night on my laptop. I try connecting to download the iOS 6.1.2 update for my iPhone 4 and my iPhone 5 via iTunes. I am getting this message for both "iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet. Make sure your internet connection is active and try again." Everything was fine with connecting prior to running these updates because I downloaded the 6.1 update with no problems when it came out.
What I have done so far with which has made no difference:
    Checked my internet connection
    Changed my internet connection
Signed out of iTunes and then signed back in
Ran diagnostics via iTunes, comes back with: Network interfaces verified- Internet connection failed- Secure link to iTunes store verified

Connection attempt to browsing iTunes Store was successful.

    Rebooted
Checked the parental controls in iTunes
    Start>control panel>internet options>connections tab> lan settings> selected the "automatically detect settings"
    Deleted iTunes and reinstalled iTunes
When I would "ping gs.apple.com" it would come back with "request timed out" no matter what internet connection I was on, so I went into the hosts file  start>my computer>(C:)>WINDOWS>system32>drivers>ect>HOSTS and added  "#     127.0.0.1     gs.apple.com". Now it will ping gs.apple.com just fine but still comes up with the "iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet" message in iTunes when i try to download the update.
If anyone can come up with any ideas that I haven’t tried, please let me know. This is keeping me back from updating both of my phones along with if anything should ever happen to them; restores as well.

im computer is connected i can go to the apple store through itunes but when i plug my phone in i keep getting that alert... i plugged my phone in to update it after the apple loaded the itunes icon and a usb showed up.

I Updated my wife's iPhone the other to the new operating system. It asked me first to use iCloud backup so I did. After the update was complete my wife can use wifi but when we try the 3G it says you are not connected to a cellular data service.
IT shows Bell as the provider but we seem to have lost something during this update.
    can someone help me please.

Check Settings>General>Cellular and make sure Cellular Data is set to On.  If it is, try putting it in Airplane mode for 15 seconds, then turn Airplane mode off again.  If it persists, give you carrier a call to confirm that it's properly activated with them and that your data plan is properly provisioned.
