Errore scheda memoria

Buongiorno,

- reinstallato il S.O. sul mio pearl --> nessun risultato;

  • How to resolve Error #3: memory.cpp, line 563

    I moved my application to a new computer with Windows XP and installed Labview 6.1 from the installation disc.  When I run Labview 6.1, it allows me to open a project but, as soon as the project loads it shows the following error message (Error #3: memory.cpp, line 563).  I deleted dir.mnu as suggested but the problem persists.  The application runs fine on the old computer.  I even uninstalled and re-installed Labview 6.1 on the new computer with the same result.  What do I do now?

    I'm sorry, I'm the one that was confused... You are having a FieldPoint problem, yes?
    First make sure that the FP VIs are not stored as part of your appliction code. If it is, delete it. Next, if you don't already have them, install the latest version of the FP drivers.  If you have only the latest version of teh drivers installed and you are still getting crashes, this sounds like an NI problem.
    The sort of problem you are running into is but one of many reasons for not saving code from the vi.lib as part of your application code.

    "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted"
    I get this error message whenever I try to access very large threads at my favorite debate site using Firefox vs. 4 or 5 on my desktop or laptop computers. I do not get the error using IE8.
    The only fixes I have been able to find are for servers that have Wordpress and php.ini files.

    It works, thanks

  • ERROR 164 MEMORY SIZE ERROR

    Help, please, someone!
    I've just replaced the original pair of 1Gb DDR3 DIMMs in my new S10 (6423-27G) with a pair of Lenovo-branded 2Gb DDR3 DIMMs, to bring the total system memory to 4Gb (I am hoping to expand to 8Gb later on when DDR3 prices drop a little).
    Now, every time I start my S10, I get a POST error message:
    Error 164: Memory Size Error
    I am invited to hit F1 to enter SETUP, but no matter what I do there, I can't seem to find any option to clear this error.
    What can I do to get my S10 to run past its POST without reporting an error?
    Brian
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    brian,
    glad to hear the POST error is gone.   it's been 13+ years since i've owned a desktop and i didn't know the S10 had a jumper setting to clear the CMOS.   thanks for that--i learned something new.
    regarding PC doctor, i'm not sure how to fix that.   try something like pcwizard and see if it reports errors as well.
    vista shouldn't report as not being genuine after something like that.   check to see if it's still activated by running "slmgr.vbs -dli" in a command prompt.   in a few seconds a box will pop up giving you its status.   if it's no longer activated then you can run "slui 4" from a command prompt and call microsoft to get them to reactivate it.   just tell them what you did and that it's an OEM copy from lenovo.
    (edit: fixed typo)

  • Error #3, "memory.cpp", line 865(V6.0) 876(V6.0.2)

    I used a VI one day with no problems, and the next I got this message - "Error #3, "memory.cpp", line 865" I did not even close the VI or modify it an anyway.
    I was first running Labview V6.0 and tried upgrading to V6.0.2 but the error continued (now on line 876). I also tried recompiling and backup copies of the VI and SubVIs, which did not work either. A suggested fix is to delete "dir.mnu", which likewise did nothing.
    To me it looks like the problem rests in the Labview "Copy" command, which I use to copy a file to another directory, because when I delete it it works fine again.
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,
    It seems that while copying your file, memory is filling up too quickly for LabVIEW to clean it up and it's crashing LabVIEW. View the memory usage in the Task Manager to confirm this.
    LabVIEW Internal Errors (Failure in XXX.c / XXX.cpp at line YYY)
    If the Copy function is not the cause of the error, about 95% of the time, the next step is to look for DLL nodes or CIN nodes. The likely culprit is that a string or array is being handed to the C code, which either overwrites memory, or leaves the array/string data structure to an inconsistent state leading LV to overwrite memory. Anyway, this is a very common cause.
    If you eliminate that possib
    ility, the remainder are usually some sort of corruption saved in the VI, but normally those will not even load.
    To simplify it before submitting it to support, please try executing individual subVIs and see if the problem is limited to a particular VI or a smaller set of VIs.

  • Error 2- memory full & error 10846 - buffer overwrite

    I am running a multi threaded application on Labview 6.1 on Win2000 that involves continuous buffered data acquisition on a PCI-6130E and serial communication. I am sampling 15 channels at 600Hz. I currently have a buffer size of 1000 and am reading 60 points at a time. The serial communication involves sending commands to a pump from a queue. The queue is maintained at about 500 commands and does not increase over time.
    I am plagued with two errors: the first is buffer overwrite error 10846. This occurs only when running the serial communication thread and DAQ thread simultaneously. I have tried reducing sampling rate, increasing buffer size, and increasing the number of points read at a time. The only effec
    t seems to be to postpone the crash for about an hour.
    The other error is error 2 - memory full. Labview seems to use gradually more and more memory over time and crashes after a few hours at about 110,000K.
    I am not sure if these two problems are related in some way, as I have only gotten error 2 after receiving and ignoring error 10846. Sometimes the program runs for about an hour and then Labview exits by itself. I'm wondering if this memory error could be a result of my chart histories being too large or from some kind of accumulation due to using a queue.
    If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix any of these errors, or on how to diagnose their cause, I would appreciate your help.

    I suggest you concentrate on the memory leak.
    There are many things that could cause this, some obivous others are very subtle.
    Do the following and let us know what you find.
    1) Reboot
    2) Brinf up the task manager and check the performance before you start. Note memory usage and compare with the actual physical memory.
    3) Run your app. Watch the memory usage.
    Let us know what you find, and feel free to post your code.
    I will not go into all of the things that can cause memory leaks because there have been many posting on this site on how to handle leaks, and I would only be scratching the surface.

  • Error #3: "memory.cpp", line 639; VI used to work, now it stopped

    Hello,
    I am running LabVIEW 6.0.2. I have a rather complicated VI that used to work just fine. I have run it a bunch of times without any problems. I have not changed anything at all, and now it gives me Error #3: "memory.cpp", line 639 every time I run it. Does anybody know what could have happened?
    Thanks,
    Corey

    Corey,
    Not without seeing the code.
    Perhaps there is some memory leakage going on, or open references that cannot be resolved.
    Also, check your memory to make sure it is still working (view your RAM amount).
    Other possibilities include possible conflicts with software running in the background, or software you recently installed.
    Check your task bar, and make sure your virus protection and anything else unecessary is off. These can eat memory and processor time.
    Other than that, navigate to the site where the bug tells you to (don't remember off the top of my head) and report it to NI.
    Good luck

    Do you have the LabVIEW source code for this application? If you have upgrading it to a newer version might already help but at least give you more possiblities to debug in the development environment. You could do that yourself or hire a LabVIEW specialist to do that.
    If you don't have the source I'm afraid there is little anybody could do to fix this other than writing a new application. By the way where are you from?

  • Error 0164 memory size decreased

    Hello, I recently was completing RAM testing with some of our ThinkCentre M Series computers.  Once I completed the testing, I put the same amount of RAM back into the machines.  It functions fine and shows up in BIOS and Windows, but the message "error 0164 memory size decreased" simply will not go away.  I've tried removing the CMOS battery and various other things (there are previous threads with similar issues, none of the resolutions worked for me though).  Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Try adding more memory than it was original amount and see what happens? Just for troubleshooting puropse ...

  • Error A20f Memory-B

    Windows XP Professional SP3. 2gb physical memory. 3.0 ghz cpu.
    Lightroom 2.1 RC1 508271
    In dual monitor mode with the grid on the primary and the Loupe on the secondary I get an error after scrolling through several images.
    The Loupe view is replaced with a gray screen with the red message at the lower left.
    The message is upside down, but appears to be 'Error A20f Memory-B'.
    Once I get the error it remains, even when scrolling back to images I have already previously displayed. If I click on the gray window I do get a zoom of the image. When I click again it goes back to the gray window with the red error message.
    I have a screen capture of it, but don't know how to include it here.
    I have a directoy of 816 .NEF images of about 10mb each. The error occurs after scrolling through about 200 images, flagging some as rejected, adjusting exposure on some.
    It is reproducible.

    You need to check your memory. Have adjusted your memory timings in any way? Can you run Memcheck? Have checked to make sure your memory is compatible with your motherboard?
    Adobe is aware of the error.
    This is a prefetch data flash memory error. It can be caused by incorrect memory timings. bad memory modules or interface issues with the motherboard bios. And before someone says that it doesn't happen with any other program; LR uses memory caching far more then any other programs. The issue has been checked out.

  • Error unsupported memory access on variable 'Decoder.number_of_values' which is (or contain) an array with unknown size at compile time

    Dear All,
    I am a new user of Vivado HLS. I want to pass an array of struct to a function and use elements of struct multiple times in a function (read and write). I find this error "error unsupported memory access on variable 'Decoder.number_of_values' which is (or contain) an array with unknown size at compile time " . Kindly can anyone tell that is it an issue of directive? if yes then which directive to use for struct and its element. Struct and function are as follows.
    typedef struct {
    uint32_t number_of_values ;
    uint32_t  address[16];
    uint8_t Processed_bit :1 ;
    uint32_t links[6];
    } Decoder_Fields;
    void Raptor_LT_decode(int To_Send,Decoder_Fields *Decoder){
        int counter=0;
        int i=0,j=0,k=0,x,aaa;
        Raptor_LT_decode_label0:while(counter<To_Send){
            if((Decoder[counter].number_of_values ==1) &&(Decoder[counter].Processed_bit==0) ){
                Decoder[counter].Processed_bit=1;
                Raptor_LT_decode_label1:for (i=0; i<To_Send;i++){
                   Raptor_LT_decode_label2:for (k=0;k<Decoder[i].number_of_values;k++){
                         if (( Decoder[counter].links[0]==Decoder[i].links[k]) && (counter != i)&&       (Decoder[i].number_of_values!= 1)) {
                            Raptor_LT_decode_label3:for (j=0;j<BLOCK_SIZE_BYTES/4;j++){
                                     Decoder[i].address[i]= Decoder[i].address[j] ^ Decoder[counter].address[j];
                            for (x=k;x<Decoder[i].number_of_values-1;x++) Decoder[i].links[x]=Decoder[i].links[x+1];
                                      Decoder[i].number_of_values--;
                counter=0;
            else
                counter++;

    Hi ,
    This question is asked on the forum from time to time and should be described in the UG902
    In your top level, Decoder is a pointer; this is not supported as-is as you need to know its size when you do something like Decoder[i].XXXX : the tool need to know how many bits to size the addess bus.
    you need to change Decoder_Fields *Decoder to Decoder_Fields Decoder[YOURSIZE]
    with YOURSIZE that makes sense; in this case the tool will know that it need N=log2(YOURSIZE) to fully address the Decoder array variable.
    next when you solve that and that all is good... the question that you will need to transfer the data of the structs from host memory to your VHLS IP; you need to think about this.
    I hope this helps.
