Syncing issue: Some of the items in the iTunes library, including "[name of song]", were not copied to the iPhone "[name of iPhone]" because they could not be found.

When trying to sync with any of my apple devices the following message is displayed:

86 total problems.
I am able to play the songs in my iTunes library without any issues and there is no "!" next to the listed songs in my library.
It is only when I try to sync my devices that this problem arises.
The songs are also on my laptop and not on an external hard drive.
Can someone please help me out.

Hey thanks for the reply.
When the box pops up there is no option to search for the location. I just have to click ok.
Then when I go to the songs with problems in my iTunes library and try to play them they play fine.
It is only while syncing that iTunes for some reason is unable to locate the song.
Any suggestions?

Adding apn for Internet tethering, cannot save the data

Hi I'm trying to use my ipad4 with wifi and cellular as a wireless modem, laptop runs a late version of Xp. It will recognise the wireless connection, but with limited connectivity. Do I need to add the apn for Internet tethering or not? I know what it should be for my net work provider, but I cannot seem to be able to save the data in the settings section. As soon as I navigate away from the page the data inputted is lost.

Do you have Excel installed on the other computer?

Database, user name, password for Crystal report

We're running BOE XI 3.1 and we use WebI reports. One of our departments uses Crystal reports, and they'd like to be able to run them in our BOE environment so that they can refresh reports over the Web. They uploaded a report to BOE (using Add -> Crystal Reports) but when they try to refresh it they aren't prompted for the database or a password, and the refresh fails.
How do you specify the database / data source / data connection (or whatever it's called) for a Crystal report? How do you specify the user name and password to use for authenticating to the database?

I am fairly new on this forum but we have been doing exactly what you are talking about with Crystal Reports published to BO XI 3.1 for a while. There are a few things we have found that have to be done to make this work right...
- Use the EXACT same ODBC/database connection setup on both the Crystal Report developer's machine and on the BO server
- On the developer's machine use integrated security for the database connection
- Then after you upload the report to BO, go into CMC and open the Crystal Report's properties. In there under "Default Settings" you will see an option for Database Configuration. The User and Password under the "Use original logon informstion from the report" should be empty. Put in a valid userid and password that has access to the database.
- Also, in the Database Configuration screen make sure the Server and Database boxes are filled-in - they will be greyed out and you can't change them (this is why you have to make sure the ODBC/database info is the same). If they are wrong, you will need to fix the ODBC/database connection in the original RPT file.
- Finally, you need to scroll to the bottom of the Database Configuration page and select the radio box "Use same database logon as when report is run" and then Save and Close
Now when users run the report it will use the user and password you entered to do it. The disadvantage is you are not using integrated security but then the users also never get prompted for a password. We tried very hard to get integrated security to work but could not manage it.

Is it possible to have 2 display names (one for internal use; the other for external use) in Active Directory?

The idea:
When communicating amongst our own staff via email we'd like to see our display names in this format:
Firstname Lastname (Division/Department/Branch/Unit)
Whereas, when we send emails to people outside the company, we'd like to be seen as:
Firstname Lastname (Company Name)
Is this technically possible?

Please read about Exchange Simple Display Name if you are using Exchange in your environment. It should be suitable for your needs, but as far I know not every Exchange version support it.
In Exchange 2003 this Simple Display Name was at Advanced tab of user, but now..
With Exchange 2013, SimpleDisplayName is configured using Exchange Management Shell (EMS)
Example:
Set-Mailbox ALIAS -SimpleDisplayName $True
..and as with Exchange 2007/2010, you will need to enable UseSimpleDisplayName on RemoteDomain.

Should we use same datasource for Internal connection and Save Point ?

AM configuration has an internal db connection setting, adf-config.xml also has an db connection setting for Save Point, should we all set to the same database source of the system or should we create a seperate datasource which is used only for AM internal db connection and Save Point?

Is there a way for a user to save the parameters he has entered

We have a report that returns information about employees.
The parameter is an LOV of employee names.
A manager may choose 50 employees from the list of 6000, which is time consuming.
Managers want to be able to come back and run it for those emaployees
again without having to go through the pain of choosing them again.
They also want to be able to add one more, or drop one from their list.
Any ideas.

Setting for Export function to save the data

I am using one custom made report where in I have option of export (save data).
When I generally click on this option, data get saved in a spreadsheet directly; from past couple of days I am unable to see the export tab and other facilities.
Request to guide where this setting s are made.

2. send your report layout to SPOOL (print) , run SP02 , find your item and try to download data from spool to the local file/excel sheet

Change Sheet Name for Excel Report?

Hi,
When I create an Excel report out of BI Publisher, the sheet name always matches the file name. For example, if I save the file as test1.xls, when I open the spreadsheet, the sheet's name is "test1". I would like the sheet name to be different from the file name. It doesn't look like BI Publisher has an option for that specific need. So, I looked at the xls file in a text editor and noticed it was HTML...and I don't think there's something I could tweak in the HTML to make the sheet name differ from the file name...is there?
Any ideas for my problem?

Hi Serguei
You will have to change the Excel sheet name manually after exporting the report. You cannot retain the report name to the Excel sheet after exporting.

You can define your own customized reports for Branch Wise/Region Wise Reporting.
This is the work of a technical person ie. ABAPer.
You have to give him tables names,fields for defining reports.
Alternatively, you can use SAP BW to define your customized reports.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Automatic option is not available. you need to customise for automisation purpose.
you can do teco complete by changing the internal order. for the bulk you write LSMW or SCATT.
