Errors 106 and 109
So I tried several times to download a trial version of Photoshop. The Download Assistant did NOTHING, and when I tried to download again, I'd get an "error 106." After checking the FAQ I saw a lot of other very frustrated people, and learned that, for no real reason, I needed to save my download somewhere other than my Program files. I tried again with my desktop as the destination. Somewhere around 24-36 HOURS later (the Download Assistant lied and said it would take 4) I get a ******** "error 109."
So my question is, when are you going to fix this ******* nightmare of a Download "Assistant"? The FAQ is crammed with people as fed up as I am. The DA suggested I try downloading again. Seriously? You think my time is that _worthless?_ Why would I spend over $1200 for the Design Standard package when you can't get something as simple a a trial download right?
I don't need you to troubleshoot this issue with me. I need you to drop me a line when you make this thing work properly. Until then, stop wasting my time.
This was NOT helpful advice.
I selected the default user folder and I am still ending up with an error message mere seconds into the download process. I've also checked my virus protection/firewall and this should not be affecting the download.
To be honest, I'm not sure that I want to purchase a product from a company that can't seem to get the simplest thing to work effectively.
If I can't get the trial to download then I don't think I'll bother purchasing the product.

I click download and chose to put it in the program files (x86) -> adobe. I click ok then it doesn't do anything. i click download again and it says there is already a program waiting to be downloaded (error 106). I removed the assistant and tried again and got the same thing.
Soccermaverick25 I would recommend choosing a different location to download the install files too. You typically only want fully installed applications to be within Program Files (x86). It is also probable that you are having problems with being able to write to that location using the Adobe Download Assistant.
Beyond changing the download location I would also recommend the following steps:
Error 106 occurs if you have previously initiated a download and then started a second download of a different trial product before the first download finishes.
Click OK to dismiss the Error 106 message.
In the Adobe Download Assistant, check the products in your download queue. Click the Resume button if the original download is paused. -

I downloaded the Download Assistant, but when I open it and choose the folder I want to Download the trial version of InDesign 5.5 nothing happens and trying again I get an error message: There is already a product waiting to be added (Error 106)...I wait and wait but nothing happens!? What do I do???
What folder are you choosing to download the install files too? I would recommend choosing the default which is your User folder or your Desktop.

Recently I get error 106 when waking up my macpro. Cannot connect to the internet is messaged and directions for investigating are given. When followed, everything leads to normal running conditions but then I am on line and all is well untile I shut it down again. Anyone know whats up with this?

WWhen I set up family sharing i did it with me as family organizer, but as my spouse is the organizer I had to leave the "family" I created and join his. But while setting it up an error occurred, and the screen went blank. Now I tried to join his family sharing again, and my phone keeps telling me I can't because accounts can only join families twice a year.
I Don't really want to wait 364 days from now, is there a way in which I can reset my accoint so I can join family sharing again?
Apple support doesn't have a solution for me yet!

ThomasYou have a mixture of things going on... AS3 code in an AS2 setting. Those are all AS2 error messages, and they are indicating you have placed the code on the buttons. To use that code, it must be placed on the timeline, and your Flash Publish Settings need to have AS3 specified instead of AS2. AS3 does not allow code to be placed on objects like AS2 does.

I have just bought an iPhone 5 and it won't sync to iTunes. It says it needs iTunes 10.7, which I have downloaded and installed. I still get the error message and looking at "about iTunes" it says 10.6.3. What do I do??

The screen you're seeing on your iPhone indicates it is in recovery mode. Now since the device is not appearing in iTunes on your PC, first follow the steps in this article:

After following those steps, you should be able to restore your iPhone.

ITunes will not open (no error message and not running Norton 2005)
I have recently upgraded to iTunes 7 and I now cannot get it to open after clicking on the icon. The iTunes.exe process comes up in the task manager briefly then disappears. There is NO accompanying error message and I am NOT running Norton Antivirus 2005. I have already tried reinstalling the standalone version of quicktime and I have used msconfig so that I essentially have only the necessary iTunes/quicktime processes running (no antivirus/antispyware/anti-popup software is running in the background). I have Windows 2000 and I have never had a problem with iTunes until now. Somebody please help me out here.

It looks like we have covered all the bases here. Unfortunatly it looks like The computer cannot run iTunes or the OS has an issue that may require a reeinstall.
Lets verify the Hardware and OS one more time. Click Start> right click My Computer> Properties(you can also open My Computer then click view system information on the left side of the window.) What does the processor and Memory say here? Also what is it saying aout Windows.
Make sure there are no upadtes available for the computer.
When you installed iTunes did you make any registry changes? It sounds like the next step would be doing a restore or re-install of Windows on the computer.

You are not able to view purchase history on your iOS device. You may only re-download previous purchases from the iOS device.
