Errors don't appear in error.log or any logs

Hi guys,
I am getting some exception errors on pages in Author but when I go to the log directory under /author/crx-quickstart/logs, checked error.log and other logs, but none of the exceptions were in there.
I cleared cache, reloaded the page which has errors, and checked all the logs again, nothing was printed.
The log configuration is still on default setting, logging level is 'debug'.
Checking on 'configuration-status'/'log files' under osig console can see all exceptions there. But why not in error.log or any other logs??

Did you verify stderr and stdout logs ? ,try system debug statments in your jsp/java code and verify these logs.

You will need to find a forum for MS Word since that is the software that you are trying to manipulate in this. If you think the processing/creation of the PDF plays a role then you should ask in the forum for the software that you are using to create the PDF.

Lightroom and Photoshop don't appear to be working together any more

I generally do initial edits in Lightroom and fine tune in Photoshop - now, they don't seem to recognize each other - any thoughts?

thanks - I've got CS 5.5 and Windows 7 - I used to edit in Lightroom, then open in Photoshop and I'd get a window with the image asking me if I wanted to open it - then I stopped getting that message and Photoshop would open the image without the Lightroom edits - finally, while in Lightroom, I would right-click the edited image and I would get a window that where I could select edit in Photoshop - now, those buttons are grayed out so my only option is to export the Lightroom edited images to a folder and then open in Photoshop which is a lot of extra steps - they used to interface and now they don't and I'm wondering why

For AA 662 the following settings are relevant:
1) in the depr.key: T090NA-XDAILY
2) in the asset: ANLB-PERFY
Error AA662 usually occurs if you change the use of half-periods, after you have already posted to assets.
However, maybe the following notes can help you in resolving the issue.

Error message R6034 appears when trying to open itunes. Problems with C library?

itunes will not open on my laptop. Error message R6034 appears:
"Runtime Error! An application has made an attempt to load the C library incorrectly"

Whenever I sync my iPhone I receive the following error message box at the conclusion of the sync:
Some of the items in the iTunes library including "Drift Away" were not copied to the iPhone because the can not be played on this phone.
There's a expansion box below when opening it, identifies two songs that were purchased from the iTunes Store; the song tracks are by Uncle Kracker, Drift Away & In a Little While. The expansion box also says:
...was not copied because the file type was not supported by the iPhone.
What is strange is that the Error Box with a yellow triangular icon insert is in itself in error because I have no problem playing these tracks that were supposedly not copied on my iPhone or other iOS devices. The tracks in question are listed in my Purchased Section on the left side of my iTunes graphic display. Both tracks are categorized as being explicit,... why, I don't know, there doesn't seem to be any explicit verbiage in the songs?
What can I do to remove the erroneous error box from appearing, the Error Box is clearly in error.

On your phone: Settings>General>Restrictions...are yours on? Allowed Content>Music & Podcasts>Explicit.

How to open previous iMovie 09 Projects- don't appear in the Project Pane!

I have a lot of iMovie 09 Projects that I have done but they no longer appear in the Project Pane. They are still on my external mac-formatted hard drive, but I can't get them to open in iMovie. I remember moving them to my external hard drive within iMovie at one point and I have a bad feeling I might have removed them from iMovie so they wouldnt slow it down... All the events are gone as well, but still reside on my external drive.
How can I re-open older projects once they don't appear in the project pane any more? They are still in the designated "imovie projects" folder on my hard drive...

if you have multiple hard drives like me they may be there, but are hidden until you hit the triangle next to the hard drive your projects are stored on. once i did that they "magically" appeared...hope it's an easy fix for you too

Some "movies' are actually Flash files.
This means the Flash App will play them (possibly in a browser in some cases).
Depending where this item is and how it is playing it may be effected by other things
A web page can include javascript.
Apple uses javascript here to help with creating the posting box, the Edit options, Adding pics/smilies and the like.
Sometimes the javascript can be what is called a runaway process and gets sort of stuck in an endless loop.
If it is a free standing item then it might be triggered by AppleScript on the Mac. (or be modified in some way)
Again if the Script (normally written with a upper case S) is not perfect it can cause problems.

I get a JavaScript Application error message that appears multiple times on most webpages and I don't know what the problem is.

Here is the error message:

The message pops up multiple times whenever I reload certain pages.
The problem does not happen in Safari or Chrome.
I've restarted Firefox but it does not help.

Same thing is happening to me. Adobe has not responded to anyone about this error. It appears that Abobe XI is not compatible with IE 11. I do not get this error when I use Chrome or Firefox. Only IE 11 does this. I have tried clearing cache and cookies.

Error message is FAILED TO GET DISPATCH FROM IBRWSR2. Then when you click on it the next error message says: PHTML IS NULL. You have to click this error message twice and then the PDF finally loads. Happened every time
Does anyone have a solution since Adobe will not respond?
As a last resort I will try uninstalling the Adobe Reader XI and install Adobe Reader 10 instead. It seems to work ok. But when I try to install version 10 the Adobe site tries to install XI. Any ideas?

LOG ERRORS failing to capture 2291 errors on UPDATE statement

We are running Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
We have often successfully used the error logging clause when performing batch inserts to the database. However, we now have a situation where an UPDATE statement is failing and rolling back upon encountering a foreign-key referential constraint [ORA-02291]. It is successfully recording Check constraint errors [ORA-02290]. The foreign keys are not deferred, and they have nothing to do with any unique constraints or indices on the table that is the target of the UPDATE statement. The Error-logging table was created by using the DBMS_ERRLOG package. We recreated it to make sure that we had not introduced column format errors. The same problem occurs. The UPDATE statement is attempting to update approximately 12000 rows. Any help in understanding this problem would be appreciated.

Thank you for your help. It pointed me in the right direction, which was to temporarily disable the triggers. The ORA-02291 errors were then properly captured in the error-logging-table.
The problem did not appear to be related to the trigger. The problem that was captured in my PLSQL error-handler but not the error-logging-table was an ORA-02291, which was specific to the original table. The trigger-driven processing did not seem to generate any errors (I have PLSQL error-handling logic in there as well).
I was aware of Tom Kyte's statement, and I knew triggers were dicey when I decided to use them. It seemed the best way to try to ensure database integrity when regular Foreign-Key and Check constraints did not suffice. I am now paying the price for that decision.

i run arch linux on my laptop for some time now and are very satisfied.
And now try to install it on my desktop pc on a dedicated harddisk.
After booting x86_64 live-cd (newest), partitioning, create filesystems + mounting for every mirror|url from the /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist i get this:
