Errors During "re-role" of IIS7 0x80070643

Is re-role a word.
Having problem accessing VMRC from my vista workstation to my 2008 X64 Server with Virtual Server 2005 R2 installed
Then could not access Virtual Server at all via web interface.
Fiddled with Authentication, and it got worse.
Panic not I thought, remove virtual server, un-role IIS, and start again, except it will not. I am unable to re-role IIS at all
Very odd I thought.
This has been raised before, however that person opted for a reinstall before it got anywhere. I really dont want to do that.

I have tried removing all server roles and features, including Windows Internal Database which was installed. I'm at a loss as to why this continues to fail on the install. I am using the Server Manager to install the role/feature. I can email CBS/event logs/servermanager logs for anyone willing to assist me in this.
The box I have is Win2k8 server standard, SP1 64bit with 4Gb ram. It's joined to an AD domain. I emailed Morgan at the above email address a couple of days ago however no response as of yet. I'd really like to fix this without having to rebuild the box.

I did deploy the SAP Java Connecter. I am using version 2.1.8 but for a 64bit environment.
I am using an App Server with System Number. Should I be using otherwise ?
I am not a Basis person but I was told that I have full authorization. I will verify this again with the Basis guys but is there any particular authorization I need to be aware of ? I did find another similar message about authorizations and it mentioned about a Crystal Report Object / authorization to create a new report. I am not familiar with this either and wondered if there is a transaction to verify this ?
Just to recap, I do not have a BI system and am trying to connect to ECC directly.

I can't answer your question but I had a similar issue when I was trying to move our mailbox database off the C: drive. Our environment still has an Exchange 2007 server in it and when I was trying to move the database on the 2013 server, I would get
error messages saying the database does not exist. It seemed like it was trying to move the database on the 2007 server from the similar error messages that I was getting. To get around it, I deleted the database and created a new one on the drive
where we wanted it.
I discovered this when I was configuring the Antispam settings. I deleted our 2007 settings, added them to the 2013 shell, the settings appeared on our 2007 server. The shell on 2013 was making changes to 2007.
I'm not sure if there is a "Get|Set or New" command that I/we should be using when this happens. Or maybe my issues will be fixed if I just remove the Exchange 2007 server? I'm not ready to do that yet because I can't configure the spam filtering
on 2013 yet with its shell not being able to make the changes that we need.
I don't know if your environment is in coexistence mode like mine.
Hopefully someone else out there has an answer or can tell us when/how the shell can make the appropriate changes to the 2013 server. Does this happen after the 2007 server is removed?

0x80070643 Fatal Error During Installation of PLEX Media Server Setup

Hi,
I had gotten a rather pesky virus and was finally able to flush it out thanks to Malware Bytes. However, now nothing will install.
Currently, I'm trying to install Plex Media Server, and I get the "0x80070643 Fatal Error During Install".
What can I do to undo this damage and get things to download smoothly again?

Make sure you have turned on Windows Firewall:
1. Click the Start button. In the search box, type Windows Firewall, and then, in the list of results, click
Windows Firewall.
2. In the navigation pane, click Turn Windows Firewall on or off.

I am creating an Inbound Delivery from an Outbound using SPED output type on the Outbound Delivery.
When I process the output using vl71 I get the following error.
Can anyone tell me what im missing.
The same scenario works for other plants except this one, its between 2 new plants in a new company code.

This issue has been resolved.
I recreated the Vendor from scratch and switched plant config settings to the new Vendor and entered the new vendor number in the Customer and retried the process. It works.
So i think there was something wrong with the initial Vendor setup.(Though i checked view by view and didnt find any difference)

I don't have SAP GUI installed locally on the server (and would like not to if possible) so haven't been able to check if I can log on to the SAP system from there. I can ping the server and nothing has changed on SAP side lately.

I'm not terribly familiar with the SAP integration portion, but I know a bit about the other authentication methods.
Can you please confirm that you have your Entitlement System properly configured and available under the Logical System Names drop down, and that the "Disabled" box isn't checked?
So after you're sure that BOBJ is properly pointed to your Authentication store, and you did say you can ping that server, so there doesn't appear to be a firewall involved, can you confirm that you have the proper Transports installed on the SAP server and configured properly?

Error During Activation of Web services

When I try to create a web services using RFC and try to complete the steps in the wizard. I am getting error message as "Error during Activation of web services". and also when configure service in wizard, im getting only two profiles as "Basic Authorization: SOAP PROFILE" and "Secure SOAP PROFILE". Kindly do the needful.

SOAMANAGER does not exist in my system (sp level 8), so node "/sap/bc/soap/rfc" should be active. Actually, it is active.
I think the problem is related to user rights/profiles.
I have tried to create another WS after assigning role SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN. The same error when trying to activate it, but now, I can see this WS in SE80 (under "Enterprise Services->Service Definition"). It is not active there and if I try to activate it, a success message appears indicating that user "is not authorized to use function netzwerkadministration". I cannot see any new services in SICF...
Probably the new entry in SICF will be created after activating WS in SE80...
Do u know what user profile should I add in order to properly activate the WS in SE80?

Trying to Install Exchange 2013 SP1 on Windows Server 2012 R2 but getting an error on mailbox role install

On Step 1 of 7, the "Mailbox role: Client Access service," I got an error during installing:

Fatal error during installation

I have been attempting to update my version of Boot Camp from 2.1 to 2.2. I have tried on numerous occasions with Apple Software Update but it never installs when the computer restarts. I have Vista 32bit installed on the partition. I tried to update with my Snow Leopard disk to 3.0 but it says the installer encountered errors before Boot Camp could be configured. It also does this with my Leopard disk. As a last resort I tried to repair the Boot Camp Services from the Windows Vista control panel and I get Fatal Error During Installation. Any ideas?

Since you only give one of error log and the Error 0x80070643 code is a common error, we need more information to diagnose the problem. Before you collect the logs, you should follow up these steps to install Visual Studio:
1. Re-download the Visual studio from Microsoft official site here:

After download you should use File Checksum Integrity Verifier tool to verify the integrity of your download. If the values don't match, your download may be corrupted and you should download the file again:

Error during check of component BP_EEW view ContactRelEL in WCF_CC T.code

In CRM 7.0 EhP1, Perform Check showed error in UI Configuration that:

I selected the edit button, which lauched the UI Config tool. I noticed that the field attribute properties is not Hidden.
I do not see an assignment to Design layer. I tried to add Assignment.
Selected the object type BP_ACCOUNT & expanded it. But did not find the sub objectype ZZI5TEEWCONTACT.
What is the assignment I should make?
Information I'm looking for is to how to work with the transaction. It is intuitive, but I'm looking for information as to how to navigate to various places and fix issues.
For Eg: Error during check of component BP_EEW view RelEL was the error message.
I couldn't find any clue to proceed with this.
Please tell me the needful information I should be equipped with to understand & resolve issues.

In my scenario XI to R3 via ABAP Proxy. In cache R/3 side shows me two red triangles: unable to refresh content and an error during last update. The error id BUSINESS_SYSTEM and the message is: NO INTEGRATION SERVER.
Yesterday admin team changes the physical machine! I already create a new technical system and a new business system and import the BS to ID with a same name! I need create all the objects again: receiver interface, determination, etc?
I also check the transactions SLDAPICUST, SICF, sm59, smicm, slscheck and sxmb_adm > Integration configuration.
The icf services are running, the RFC connections shows a http code 500 (it means that is ok) and in integration configuration I have defined my Business sys type "LOC" and in IS_URL, the URL of XI integration server.
I think everything is ok!
Guys any suggestions to check other points?

In the SLD your XI business system should contain the pipeline URL http://<host>:<abap_port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry and this business system role should be <b>Integration Server</b>.

Visual C++ Fatal error during installation

When I was installing Titanfall on Origin I got a 1603 error. I looked at some forum posts on fixes.
I have uninstalled all of my VC++ from my computer and when i tried to download and install fresh copies every single one results in a fatal error durring installation.

The error log is incorrect. I am using Windows 7 Pro.
I was able to install MS VC++ 2013 redist.(x64) and VC++ 2005 (x64) just fine but I cannot install 2010.
Eh? Never saw an install log where Win 7 was identified as Win XP x64.
What, exactly, are you trying to install? Are you installing Visual Studio, or C++ redistributables?

I am configuring the WSRM for SD in SAP. I have only configured services CreditWorthinessQuery_Out and CreditWorthinessQuery_In on soamanager to carry out credit checks.

Transaction SXMB_ADM  Integration Engine Configuration
For an application system you have to maintain the role of the business system as an application system. Set the corresponding Integration Server as an HTTP destination (for example, dest://INTEGRATION_SERVER). Create the destination in transaction SM59 and set the type to HTTP Connections to R/3 System. Test the connection by using the Connection Test button; you should get HTTP 500 u2013 Empty HTTP Request received, because no u201Ereal‟ XML document is sent during this test.
A HTTP return code 500 (Internal Server Error) is OK.
