Errors in Firefox

Hello,
I have always developped my application in Internet Eplorer. But recently I was told that the customer wants to use the application in Firefox. When I began testing the application in Firefox I encountered a strange error which didn't occur in Internet Explorer.
Almost on every page of the application I get the same form of code being displayed at the bottom of it.
For example on page 1, I get this:
first_field('P1_STREET
P1_STREET is the first textfield in the form.
I have the application stored on two different databases on two different machines. What makes it even more odd is that the errors occur only on the customer's machine.
Anyone who has an idea why this happens and what I can do about it?

When I try to use the print/save as pdf option, I get a scripting error and Firefox usually freezes.

On my MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8 and Firefox 3.6.13, I am trying to save documents as pdfs under the print window, I get a scripting error and Firefox usually freezes/becomes nonresponsive. This happens every time I tried to perform this task.

This is a fresh install of Windows 7. It is installed on virtual environment on my mac mini using the parallels virtualization application.
I purchased the windows version of dream weaver CS 6 through an online website which I tried to install to my new windows instance. This is the academic version of the Dreamweaver application with a perpetual license that I am trying to install.
I verified my eligibility through adobe which gave me a link to download the CreateiveCloud Set-up program. I downloaded the install program in my windows environment and program and the gave the above error message. Below is a copy of my computers specs.

My home page is google and it works but when I open a new tab it displays an error message :Firefox can't find the file at chrome://quick_start/content/index.ht

I've made sure a dozen times that my home page is set correctly, and when I hit the home button next to the search bar it works and takes me right to google BUT whenever i open a new tab i get the error that my page cannot load and the web url that it keeps trying to remember is in the error message:
Firefox can't find the file at chrome://quick_start/content/index.html.
of course the last dot is not the url anymore but the end of the sentence for the error message, but i don't ever use chrome ever on my laptop only my cell so what is going on????? help fix god please!!!!!!

Do you have the FastStart extension?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Error message "Firefox is already running but is not responding" - I have read and action the KB - no fix

So before we start - I have read the KB (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-already-running-not-responding) and actioned the advice on how end the processes, delete the parental lock, etc. This gives a temporary but one time only fix and does not resolve the overall issue.
I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the application.
So why do I get the Error message "Firefox is already running but is not responding"?

Note that in Firefox 13+ (expected to be released June 5) the parent.lock file is no longer deleted after closing Firefox to make it possible to check for startup crashes, so the presence of that file will in the future no longer indicate a problem.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

You need to do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder before installing a newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. Protocol error usually indicates that the very leftmost part of the URL is not recognized.
So http://, ftp://, rtsp://, usually work.
ableton:// would need to be added by some software somewhere...

I have been having this issue for quite some time with Firefox. I am using the Nightly build (23.0a1) and have been using for more than 2 years. Synchronization was working fine till a few weeks ago. Synchronization of XMarks on Chrome Dev works fine and no problem. It's only with Firefox. Things I've tried but no success:
1) I deleted my profile off of xmarks and created a new one and tried syncing again. No success. 
2) deleted firefox, deleted the profile folder under AppData. Reinstalled everything fresh, and still no success. 
My log file shows the following... Not sure what to check. Anyone help me? Thanks!

Re Patrick's suggestion above, I was able to get Xmarks working again on both my Win 7 laptop and desktop today by uninstalling my Aurora browser completely and then installing the regular release version of Firefox, 20.0.1.
When I uninstalled Aurora, it asked me if I wanted to keep my customizations and personal data, and even though it meant a bit more restoration work later, I decided to try erasing all my Aurora settings and data and starting fresh. (But before doing so, I backed up all my bookmarks by exporting to an html file and my add-on settings via Firefox Sync.
After that, I installed and started with a clean slate version of regular Firefox, and proceeded to then reinstall my various add-ons and import my saved bookmarks from the html file. As soon as I re-installed Xmarks and re-logged into my Xmarks account, the automatic syncing process went fine and no more error messages or failures.
I had been using Aurora for months prior with Xmarks and never had any syncing problem until the first week of April. And at that point, the syncing function broke on both my laptop and desktop, which were both running the daily updated versions of Aurora. So I'm believing that something was changed in Aurora that caused this problem.

Content Coding Error in Firefox/Internet Explorer cannot display webpage

I can log into Beehive without any issues. I used to be able to go to Workspaces > All My Workspaces and see all the workspaces I had access to. From this list, I could get to any of these workspaces. Now when I go to the same navigation, I get in 'Content Coding Error' in Firefox 9 and 'Internet Explorer cannot display webpage' in Internet Explorer 7.
If I find an email that invited me to a specific workspace, I can access that workspace only. I cannot find a way to access all workspaces I have access to within Beehive.
Please let me know what other information I need to provide for assistance.

https://beehiveonline.oracle.com/index.html is a public page with no obvious protection so anyone should be able to see it without any difficulty. If this is the page causing the issue then it suggests a local browser issue.

I'm new to working with Mamp, Dreamweaver and WordPress and am trying to work using the Firefox browser. unfortunately i keep getting the error message Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost. when i type the URL http://localhost/explore_ca/blog/wp-admin I cant use Dreamweaver with WP without this is there a reason for this and how do i get around it?

2- Have you tested other browsers? Is your problem still occuring?

Error: mozilla-firefox conflicts with nss-nspr

I get this message when I try:

i tried upgraded all installed packages, and still got this error. I'm still not used to pacman, so I could have missed a step or something. The only other packages I had installed besides the base system at this point was hwd and xorg.
I removed hwd and still got the same message.

I've got the same problem with one exception - I've got no "nss-nspr" installed on my system :shock:

Since the Version 20.0 update when starting firefox I have frequently got the error message "firefox is having trouble your windows and tabs" .

Since the version 20.0 update when starting firefox I have frequently got the error message "firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs" This has not occurred with previous versions. If I click on the box "restore" and close firefox the problem reoccurs if I click close I lose the bookmark sidebar. I am so sick and tired of these frequent and buggy updates (every one since 17.0 have caused norton 360 to stop detecting tracking cookies for several weeks and or broken the norton toolbar) that I will uninstall firefox and switch to another browser if this does not change.

Javascript Error in Firefox that works fine in Chrome and IE

Random Server not found error in firefox

for the past few days i have been having the "Server not found" error in firefox whilst browsing it happens at random and fixes when i restart the browser or reconnect my internet connection

you can't trust any other browser?
Try chrome at the same time. See if it works, when firefox doesn't.
