Errors in Installing BPC 7.0 MS Version

HI Friends
Wish you all an advance happy new year.
We are getting som errors while accessing the BPC Excel.
When we are tryin to login to BPC Excel for planing application it is saying that "CANNOT DOWNLOAD ACCOUNT MEMBER INFORMATION" , even though the Account Dimension has members.
After clicking OK i am not able to view the "CURRENT VIEW" in the BPC Excel Action Pane other than the ACCOUNT DIMENION ONLY but without any members.
When i click the Account Dimension , i am not able to view any members of the Account Dimension and it is showing an error that "RUN TIME ERROR 91, OBJECT VARIABLE OR WITH BLOCK VARIABLE NOT SET"
After clicking ok i am another error "AUTOMATION ERROR"

A couple of ideas. What service pack are you on? When you log into ApShell, do you get the same issue? If so, make sure you have enable the add-ins by navigating to Tools->Macros->Security. Make sure OutlookSoft is listed in the Trusted Publishers and that Trust all installed add-ins and templates is checked.
If you don't have the issue in Apshell, then there could be something wrong with your dimension. Before you check that, login to your AppSet and go to ETools->Client Options and choose Clear local application information. This will log you out and cause you to go through the connection wizard again.
If you are still having the same issue after logging back in, make sure the dimension is setup correctly (ID's can have a max of 20 chars without any special characters, other than "_" and "."). If you don't have any data in the database/cube, try deleting all members within Account dimension, expept for one member and reprocess the dimension with a Full Process. Log back into BPC for Excel to see if you are still having the same problem. If so, follow the same process with the rest of the dimensions.

I think your problem is related to rights of installation user.
It should be administartot into that computer.
Or it is related to the fact that installation of SQL, OLAP was not done with default instances and in that case you have to specified the right instances during the installation of SAP BPC.
Also can you please provide the information what version of SAP BPC 5.1 are you trying to install?
When you launch the installation of SAP BPC are you using startup.exe or setup.exe.
You have to use startup.exe
Let me know if any of suggestion help if not I will try to provide others.

Proactive caching Error while installing BPC 7.0 SP6

All,
We are installing BPC 7.0 sp 6 on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (RTM) - 10.0.1600.22 (Intel X86) Jul 9 2008 14:43:34 Copyright (c) 1988-2008 Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition on Windows NT 5.2 <X86> (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)
In short SQL 2008 Standard Edition. Will BPC 7.0 work with it?
We tried to install the BPC and recived the "Proactive caching" errors. I know we will need this feature for ROLAP.
Can we keep Standard Edition and make it work? Or we will need EE of SQL for BPC to work?

SQL Server EE is required for all SAP BPC Microsoft versions.
BPC is using functionalities from SSAS delivery just with EE.
Proactive caching is one the features available just into EE not into SE. But are also other features used by BPC from SSAS which can be found just into EE.
It is true that actually just for SSAS we require EE, for all other componetnts we don't really need EE.
So the installation will work, but of course you will have some limitations coming from Microsoft.
For example SQL Server SE is able to handle maximum 4 processors.
RS can not be installed into Web farm if you are using SE
And many others.
I hope this will help you to have a bteer view about what is reguired and why.

Error in installing ABAP 7.2 trial version

I tried installing ABAP 7.2 trial version in my laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic edition. The installation gives an error in the "Execute" step in Phase 18 "Perform MaxDB Post load activities". The following is the error.

the error is related to user creation:
Variable user(MadhuSharmila\nspadm) should be defined
Home Editions of Windows has some limitation in user management - for example, the snap-in of local users and group is not directly available in MMC. Probably the installation fails for this reason. You can create user nspadm manually if missing and retry the installation

Getting a License Error while installing UFT 12.01 trial version

Hi,
I am trying to install UFT 12.01 trial version but its throwing a License error. I am clicking on "Install License" and selecting "Seat License" and clicking on "Next" It says "License Type set successfully".
But next time when i click on UFT icon on the desktop (after restarting my machine) it throws same License Error.
Please find the attached screenshots. Please help me to get UFT installed properly.

Error While Installing CE 7.1 Trial version

Hi,
I'm getting the following error and the installation stops in step 3 while installing CE 7.1 trail version.
The step createAccounts with step key |CE_DevSystem_App|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|3|0|NW_Users_Create_Do|ind|ind|ind|ind|4|0|createAccounts was executed with status ERROR .
Before the installation, during the prerequiste verification, I receive the following error and if ignore it, the installations stops after throwing the above exception.

Internet Access (for CE online documentation) - Not mandatory I believe.

Self Registration error while installing BPC on windows 7

Hi all,
While I am installing BPC NW 7.0 client on my Windows 7(64 bit), I am getting following popup
Self Registration Error
1. C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\asycfilt.dll
                                        The Specified procedure could not be found
The same above is listed for following dll's.
2, msvcirt.dll
3. msvcp60.dll
4. msvcrt.dll
Along with above, it give me following error
5. C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\oleuaut32.dll
                                         Accessed Denied
6. C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\stdole2.dll
                                        Error accessing the OLE registry.
It installed successfully after pressing ok.
Have anyone faced/resolved this issue and what are the effect of above error with respect to functionality of the s/w?

Encountering errors when installing OO40 for oracle 10g version 10.1.0.5.2

Hello:
I am installing an oracle application (argus) on a machine running Windows 2008 Server and Oracle 11g Database..
The Argus installation manual says that Oracle Objects should be installed.
I found the version listed in the Sibject line but when I tried to run the installer, it comes up with an error dialog box that says "Abnormal program termination. An internal error has occured. Please provide the following files to Oracle Support" and then says "Unlknown" three times.
Did anybody encounter this scenario? How did you resolve it?

While I am still waiting for someone to help to solve the issue, I did some research. I used the Oracel Universal Installer and checked into the Products.XML associated with the installation for Oracle Objects I downloaded from Oracle site. The Installer came up with the following error message:
Some components in the Stage Area have stage versions less than 10.2.0.0.0. Please ensure that all the components have their stage versions greater than or equal to 10.2.0.0
I opened Products.XML and all components are 10.1.x.
Any idea where I can get compatible versions?

I installed 11.5.7 on NT and it took about 55 gig with vision. I think the problem is that the documentation is out of date for 11.5.7 and above because of the added functionality.
I would certainly budget for 60-70 gig if you can.

Application error after installing NW 7.01 Trial version

Hello all together,
i have used the search to find threads with the same issue but there was non thats fits really to my issue.
I have installed the NW 7.01 on a virtual maschine with windows Xp sp2. as I did it before several times.
the installation finished without any problems. then I try to start the applicationserver but a windows popup occurs thats shows the following error "disp+work.exe Application error
the instruction at 0x0042d04a references memory at 0x00001724 the memory could not be written
then I have the possibility to terminate the problem by clicking OK or ok to debug the program.
I have cleaned the registry with the RegistryClean.cmd an deleted everthing and installed the NW 7.01 again. but the same issue occured again.
can somebody help me with this issue.

Uninstall minisap installation. Than change computer name lower than 13 chars. My suggestion a simpler name like "minisap" .In most cases Microsoft gives complex computer name like yunus-ax8323akdm . With minisap installation your computer name is host name like PROD QA.After change computer name restart setup and re-install. You will see everything is ok. Sometime you have to start manually database from SAP MMC (console)
