Errors in the metadata manager

Hi Experts,
Periodically we're seeing Error Event ID's 18 and 19 on our SSAS server (SQL Server 2008 R2) hosting SCSM Data Warehouse DB's.
The cube's appear to be processing OK from what I can tell, but everything I can find online relating to these errors indicates some corruption in the Data directory. We get these errors in two different, separate SCSM environments (SCSM 2012 SP1 UR4).
Has anyone ever experienced these Errors before?

Thank you for your answer.
I can complete the installation by clicking on the 'OK' button. As if the error is ignored by the system during the installation.
But, after the installation is completed, the deployment of the OLAP cube with (with restore) is not working. we get an error message. I think it is related to the first one.
Is it mandatory to restart the Send Governor after the installation?

PowerView Errors in the metadata manager. The current model can only be expressed when the client is requesting tabular view metadata with VERSION restriction of 2.0 or later

SQL 2012 SP 1 CU4 applied. Now getting " Errors in the metadata manager. The current model can only be expressed when the client is requesting tabular view metadata with VERSION restriction of 2.0 or later"
Any ideas what could be causing it to send the incorrect version?

An error prevents the Change Management Upgrade script from executing

I have Warehouse Builder 10g on a database 10g R1.
On a server linux I have the repository, and on other server (Sun 5.9) I have runtimes for production.
I want execute an upgrade deploy action on one object but I get this error:
An error prevents the Change Management Upgrade script from executing successfully. We strongly advise that this Upgrade is UNDONE and the problem is investigated. Data loss may occur if you accept this Upgrade
Any idea?

I review the installation, it was made with a diferent user that database, I get same permission, restart runtimes service and problem was resolved.

It is normal, I encountered this error during planning aplication deployment from BPMA. There is a "cosmetic" bug that exception not catched and drops to log.

Premiere cs6 unknown error during the project manager operation

It appears this is an ongoing issue that needs to be addressed by Adobe.
I remember back in CS3 this was an issue and it still appears to be unresolved. I'm using a Windows 7, HP Z workstation with Quadro FX graphics card, plenty of Ram, with an efficient RAID system. I need to provide a complete project (with files folder & assets in a central folder - maybe even trimmed assets) to my clients. The Project Manager create Trimmed Project continually fails, as well as Collect files and Copy to New Location. Following the Adobe instructions, no screensaver, turn off Premiere Autosave, don't use other programs that will impact machine usage - the results are still the same - unknown error - PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE ADOBE ! ! ! ! So my question is, When will Adobe address this issue?

after installing the nagios connecor and it doesn'work, i try to remove it; with the powershell command remove-SCOMConnector. After removing it, Get-SCOMConnector shows me, that it doesn't exist:

Strange.. the powerShell Command "get-SCOMConnector" works.. but the console hangs (on loading) when i want to show the connectors...

I agree, we may need to remove the connector from OpsDB. In addition, here is blog regarding to the similar issue, hope it helps:

Can the limit of 1,000 results on search results be expanded in Metadata Manager?

Hi, Nagaraja Ganiga Thank you so much for your answer, one more question, if we trying to search this kind of views in the search tab, it won't be shown, is that caused by the limitation?Because now when I engage a search based on a table, the view, which definition is exceed the limitation can not be shown.

The design of the Metadata Manager is to hold maximum of 4000 characters in Oracle and DB2, 2000 Characters in Microsoft SQL Server for the View Definition.This is a known limitation in Metadata Manager and a CR (CR 103250) has been submitted to be resolved in the future release. NAC Unable to add CAS server in the CAM manager

Hi,
We are facing the issue with adding CAS server in the CAM manager. While Adding CAS server to CAM manager ; we are getting Failed to add server: Could not connect to 172.22.105.13 error on the CAM manager.
FYI, We have added CAS server certificate on CAM and viceversa. My CAS and CAM server is working in HA mode.
Also We are getting following error on the CAM manager.

What's the metadata in BW?

what's the metadata in BW?
Is metadata a discription of any object in BW, such as length and type etc.?

In BW the meta-data contain data about data.
It is like having information about the information.
You have the business related meta-data for example the description used in your reports or the technical related meta-data for example the rules used in the transformation or the extraction. These are the two types of meta-data you have in the metadata repository that you manage with the metadata manager

Metadata Management and CMS

I have installed BO XIR 3.1 sp3 and Metadata Mangement on a window 2008 sp2 platform. Everything was going well. After a server problem I had to redeploy the Metadata Manager and BOMM apps on tom Cat (5.5).
After the redeployment of the two apps, the BOMM console worked well but it's impossible to view Metadata Management in the cms. Here's the message that I get:
http 404 and :
MetadataManagement/jsp/Integrator_List/list.faces
When I try to configure the repository via the application options of the cms here's what I get:

Management/jsp/Repository_Properties/properties.faces
Do I have to redeploy? refresh a property file ? copy a war file?

The current architecture is:
PeopleSoft -> SAP ECC -> SAP BI -> BOE -> WebI
We are trying to perform mappings from field names on reports in WebI back to their SAP BI technical name / description, and even into ECC if possible. I was able to run Metadata Integrator in DS to collect lineage information from the BOE server, but this doesn't give me anything further back than BOE. I assumed that I would need to add the remaining steps manually, yet it sounds like you have a better idea.
How can we go about doing this? Are you saying that if I use:
SAP ECC -> DS -> SAP BI -> BOE -> WebI
Then it will show my lineage from WebI all the way to ECC automatically? Do you have any examples of this? If that is the case, then I would like to test it out.

Your factory-supplied monitor profile, associated with your monitor by the operating system, is bad. It's more common than you'd think.
To avert the error:
Open the Color Management panel of your Windows operating system. In the Devices tab, if it is not already listed [ Add... ] the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile and [ Set as default Profile ].
After doing the above, log out of Windows and back in again, just to ensure everything's updated.
Note that the above assumes your monitor is more or less displaying color in the sRGB color space (sRGB is short for sRGB IEC61966-2.1). For many monitors this isn't a terribly wrong assumption.
If you want to ensure you have the most accurate color, consider buying a calibration and profiling device, which (with its associated software) can set your calibration and generate custom color profiles by doing actual measurements from your monitor. You'll want to take some time to get your mind around how color-management works, and that is not a trivial task. It's certainly well beyond what can be taught in a forum post by post.

How to manage the metadata management in universe?
Our project requirment is to maintain the Business Defination of Object(not the technical Information which automatically comes when connection is defined while designing), As of Now we have suggested to the client that we will manually include the Defination of each field/objects or class in the Description field of properties of Object while designing the universe in designer.
But this solution seems to be very time consuming and difficult to maintain (Having too many objects in Universe which is designed on SAP BW Query will consume lot of time for Developer and also to maintainance will also be a problem.)
Can any one suggest the way to incorporate the Business Defination of Objects in Universe?

We have a product called Metadata Manager that keeps information of universes along the lifecycle of BI system.
By the way, when you genererate a universe on top of SAP BW data source, this universe contains hidden attributes per class / object / measure / filter.
Those attributes contain:
<ul><li>Unique name
<li>Unique definition
<li>Last update date
</ul>Those attributes are accessible (read/write) through Universe Designer SDK.
