Errors in WS10000252 Invoice Workflow

We are upgrading from EBP 3.0 to SRM 5.0. The standard workflow WS10000252 for invoice object BUS2205 is not working in SRM. The container object "Invoice" is not getting filled in. Instead I can see another container object INVOICEOBJECT which is filled.
Is this a release change? Do we need to start using the container object INVOICEOBJECT from SRM5.0. Please clarify.

"Local event error" with AP invoice workflow

Dear All,
I work in AP module Oracle Apps. 11.5.9 version. I have problems with the AP invoice approval workflow (production instance). This problem occurs very ocassionally but is really problematic.
I couldn't find any proper solution in metalink.
We have customised the seeded workflow and works fine with all scenarios everyday. But strangely it happens that some functionality doesn't work fine.
Because of the above problem System Admin. receives thousands of automatic emails.
Description:
Event Error Name: WFENG_EVENT_NOTFOUND
Event Error Message: 3142: Process 'APINV/16880017_1' has no activities waiting to receive event 'oracle.apps.ap.event.invoice.approval'.
Event Error Stack:
Wf_Engine.Event(APINV, 16880017_1, JCP_APINV_M, oracle.apps.ap.event.invoice.approval)
Wf_Rule.Default_Rule(oracle.apps.ap.event.invoice.approval, EDD209EC55E662EFE0340003BA2CC156).
Has anyone encountered this situation before. If so please reply to me at the earliest.

See either Metalink Note # 277613.1 (11.5.9) or 330194.1 (11.5.10) - both describe the error and each offers a slightly different workaround. Note that they were easy to find by searching for oracle.apps.ap.event.invoice.approval :).

Non PO Invoice Workflow - Error while Posting Document

Hi Experts
Hope I am posting this in the right forum as I am new to SDN!
We have customized a multi-level non PO invoice workflow which triggers at the time of clicking 'Save as Completed' in tcode FV60.
It has been configured to automatically post the document once it is approved at all the required levels. However, the document cannot be posted even after it receives all levels of approval. The status shows as 'Complete' but the error message shown is 'No Amount Authorization for Customer/Vendor in Company Code' in the workflow screen (MSGID F5, MSGNO 155).
Now as I understand, this is the error for maintenance of user ID in tolerance groups. However, all user IDs have already been maintained and no matter who parks the document, the same error appears in the workflow screen.
We have no idea whether this is happening due to some missing config from FI side or WF side.

Go to Tcode: OBA3 Assign tolerance group under your company code and give all limits for each group. If you done this one your properly your problem should solve.

I solved the error using these parameters:
Evaluation ID 3EV_IN_600_000
Process level schema 3C_IN_600_000
Level type S Automatic
Task ID 40007988
Decision type 1 Decision for Entire Document.

AP Invoice Workflow fails when approver is terminated

We are on EBS 12.1.3. I am trying to find out what is the best practice solution for when approvers are terminated while AP Invoice Approval workflow is running.
These are the steps in reproducing the problem:
1. Create invoice and send for approval.
2. Terminate the approver.
3. Let the approval request notification time-out.
4. Workflow tries to send the reminder and errors out.
Error: WFNTF_ROLE
Error Message: 3205 <Employee #> is not a valid role or user name.
Why doesn't the workflow go to the approver's supervisor?

While the error presents in the workflow layer the problem actually lays in HR. It is responsibility of HR to find a mechanism to define a user to take over on the responsibilities (respond to notifications) of the expired employee/user.
You can use the API WF_MAINTENANCE.PropagateChangedName(oldUserName, newUserName) so that all the references to the expired user name are changed to the name of a new user name that will be able to respond to the notification - or receive the remainder notification in this case.
Workflow does not use a hierarchy for these cases, though it would be a considerable enhancement request.

Error while deploying a workflow in OWB

I am getting the below error while deploying a workflow in Control Center.
ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception: java.sql.SQLException: The file /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.2/dbhome_1/owb/bin/admin/rtrepos.properties cannot be accessed or has not been properly created on the server XXXXXX. If the file does not exist or if the database owner (normally user 'oracle') does not have the required file permissions or if the file has not been properly created then the file can be recreated by running the SQL*Plus script /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.2/dbhome_1/owb/rtp/sql/reset_repository.sql (in a RAC environment the file must be manually copied to each server which is used for OWB). Otherwise if using a 10.2 database instance, then please run the SQL*Plus script /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.2/dbhome_1/owb/UnifiedRepos/reset_owbcc_home.sql.
Did any one faced this issue before?

Did you create the runtime access user using the runtime assistant? Did you select the correct runtime repository (if you have more) to associate your runtime access user with?
Note that there are 4 database roles being created when you create a runtime repository owner:
- OWB_A_<runtime repository owner>
- OWB_D_<runtime repository owner>
- OWB_R_<runtime repository owner>
- OWB_U_<runtime repository owner>
If you would grant those roles to a user, then that user becomes an access user for the user with username <runtime repository owner>.
Note that you can also use the runtime repository credentials to connect to the runtime repository for deployment purposes, but you may not want that because of security concerns.

We are getting an error while generating Invoice from VF03. The error is Form of address key is not defined
What I had done is, I had assigned a new PRINT program in output type ZD00 by removing the old one & in quality we were getting the output but when it went to production, its giving the error "Form of address key is not defined.
Please help as this help is coming in Production.

Check the address window in the form. Mostly the key combination used to fetch the address may not be available in the production thats why it is rasie such error.

Error while saving list workflow in sharepoint designer 2013

I am trying to create custom workflow using sharepoint workflow 2013 at client side.While i am saving this,it thowas error-"Server side activities have been updated.you need to restart sharepoint designer to use the updated version
of activites"
I have installed 32-bit sharepoint designer 2013 in my system and i have no access to server.
I have also followed the solution and deleted the contents in the below location.

the error was while setting the environment variable "PATH"
can't set the environment variable value as it's more than 1023
i made ignore to this error and continue the setup
is that error may affect the workflwo builder to run or it dosen't affect it

Error while opening list workflow in SharePoint designer 2010

Which type of workflow did you use?
Did you create the workflow using SharePoint 2010 Designer or built-in workflow template?
If the workflow was created using SharePoint 2010 Designer, for editing the workflow using SharePoint Designer, open the site with SharePoint 2010 Designer, then click the 'Workflows' in left panel. Then in the right panel, click the workflow that you
want to edit, then click 'edit workflow' under Customization.

Error in transporting WF workflow task

I face an error when moving WF workflow task from Dev to QA.
System is 4.0B.
The QA transport log shows (errors in bold):

The errors affect the following R/3 components:
 BC-BMT-OM (Organizational Management)
In QA, the new version of the WF - created and activated in Dev - does not appear at all. I checked OSS Note 138411 - Collective note: PD Transports and OSS Note 88180 - Error during import postprocessing (Org.unit) but they didn`t help.
In Dev, the new version of the WF was saved and activated and manually inserted in a customizing request from tr. PFTC. The transport included object R3TR TDAT PDWS with entries for HRP, HRT and SWD_* tables, with records for the WF task.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ravi,
WS and TS tasks are recorded in changes, only the WFs and Ts are not. This is because some Personal Development objects are not to be transported, hence automatic transport connection for these is deactivated in IMG. Since WFs and Ts are considered as PD objects, the automatic transport is deactivated for them as well. For WFs and Ts manual transport is available in PFTC.
This is unfortunate but this is how it`s set.
On the other hand, version management is not something that works too well for workflows anyway (at least in 4.0B). You can`t see the differences in two separate versions like you would in a program. And in WFs and Ts you are able to generate versions just like for WSs and TSs for version management. So from my point of view manually transporting WFs and Ts are not the issue. But I may be wrong...
Nevertheless I activated automatic transport connection and did a change in Dev like that. The transport created was moved to Acc, but still same problem...
So I`m running out of clues.. maybe I just overlooked something...

Error 403 when accessing workflow manager page after install

Hey,
I'm in the process of setting up a new workflow manager farm for my SP2013 environment.
At the moment I'm setting up the stage WFM farm which consists of only one dedicated server (meaning not running on a SP server). My live WFM farm will be made of 3 servers.
I've followed Harbar's guide located here:
http://www.harbar.net/articles/wfm2.aspx, and all was successfull until I tried to access the workflow page on
https://myserver.domain.com:12290 and got a 403.
I've checked that the Workflow Manager Backend, Windows Fabric Host Service, Service Bus Gateway and Service Bus Broker services are running.
Get-WFFarmStatus is also showing me everything running. In IIS, app pool and site are started.
I've tried ti access https://myserver.domain.com:12290 from the WFM machine, from a SP server and from my own laptop, same issue, I always get a 403.
Would you know how to troubleshoot this?

From your description, my understanding is that you got 403 error when you accessed workflow manager site.
Please run IE as an administrator(right-click IE ->run as administrator) on the WFM server, compare the result.
Please run the commands to check the workflow service account:
$Farm = Get-WFfarm
$Farm.AdminGroup
Make sure the account has local access to the server.

Error has occurred in workflow processing

Hi All,
The email notification sent back to employees to notify them that the timecard was submitted successfully is erroring. I looked in the workflow administrator resp and noticed the employee notifications were failing.
Please see the below error:

Hi,
You can reset the template in the frontend System Administrator -> OAM -> Workflow -> View Details -> Edit.
OR
You can override the template as i mentioned in the prevoius post by including a attribute in the respective message(Refer Workflow Developer's guide for more details).
