Errors with EAS of calendar

I recently switched from Hot Sync to Exchange Active Sync. Now my calendar does not update. When I sync email, calendar and contacts on auto sync I get failure messages. When I only let auto sync email it works fine. When I do a manual sync of the contacts they too work fine. When I do a manual sync of the calendar I get airsamstatemachine 1913 3 errors. Also, appointments from the calendar do not update when I get those errors. I expect the problem with the calendar sync is what is also affecting the auto sync of all 3. This is with an unlocked Treo 680 if it matters.
Any recommendations?

I didnt' realize you could sync the different types (mail, calendar, contacts) separately in VersaMail...

According to the KB article, an AirSAMStateMachine "3" code indicates a time-out. Not very illuminating. Can your IT pull up any error info on the server side?

Strange errors with iCal - Google calendar syncing.

I use iCal and have it sync to my Google calendar. Recently, when creating a new event, the default alert has been coming up as a random number of minutes (eg. 1540, 1100) before the event. It used to just default to 15mins before the event and you could change the alert easily to something else. Now, when I try to change this strange large number it reverts back to how it started as soon as iCal syncs with google.
This is strange and really annoying. Any ideas?

If I hadn't been using iCal/Google Calendar for over 18 months, with reminders from both systems playing nicely over that period, I'd happily agree with you. The issue with Reminders only began (for me, at least) in February this year. I agree that there's potential for conflict, and maybe both sets of developers finally threw in the towel. This is a pity, because I like both systems, but I feel slightly irritated at being effectively told by Google or Apple that I have to choose sides.

I am getting the error "server responded with an error" with respect to Calendar.

The request "name of appointment" in "medical" in account "iCloud" failed. 400 to operation CalDAVUploadDropBoxFileQueuecableoperation". How do I fix this error? Nothing I am doing is removing it.

I'm assuming that you mean the ExportPDF service. How do you access it: from Adobe Reader, or directly on the https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf website? Does the error occur in both instances?

Synching errors with Outlook 2007 calendar

When syncing my phone to Outlook 2007 the operation changes day entries such as birthdays into two day entries. I change them back in my outlook calendar but on the next sync it happens again! help!!

Well it was a good try but didn't work.Syncing today has changfed a birthday entry on Outlook to one ovet two days - 23:00 to 23:00.
Any further ideas?

About the only thing you can try is using the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall Lion on your Mac over the top of the current install. that will reset all system files and should not touch your personal files or the apps you have installed.
Or iof you have a recent Time Machine backup use that to restore your Mac to that point in time.

Having same issues. had been syncing every few days with outlook 2007 contacts and calendar but since updated to 4.0.2 and latest itunes I get an error that it is unable to sync. I can't seem to find any solution.

Do you have the Yahoo toolbar? Other users have reported a similar JavaScript error when loading sites with that toolbar installed. If you have it, you could disable it or perhaps there is an updated version available.

its wierd that when I run db_stat on windows, for my environment, it works.... I installed Berkeley DB XML 2.4.16 from a self extracting package.
When I tried running from my Linux box, the error message appear... The native library on my Linux box was built from the zip package dbxml-2.4.16.zip

How can I edit iCal server addresses in Mountain Lion? I keep getting an error with regards to my google calendar and I understand that the way to fix the problem is adjust the server address, but I cannot access it because the preferences are restrictive

I keep getting an error message with my google calendar, and I heard that if I delete the extra slash at the end of the address the problem will be fixed. But the iCal account preferences take me to system preferences > accounts every time I want to edit the account.

I had the same problem. Here is what worked for me. Open the mail app and delete your exchange account (Settings > Delete Account). Then re-add your Exchange account. After this my Exchange contacts showed up again.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

I have been subscribing to my wife's work and home calendars since she started using an iPad mini late December. Suddenly, today, nothing will sync to it. If I try to update, the iCal app fails to pick her work calendar, saying "There was an unexpected error with the request on subscribed calendars (error -1)." Her iPad has the current iOS.
I tried re-sending the 'subscribe to my calendar' email (with a link) from her iPad, but trying to open that link results in the same message.
Our computers all run Mac OSX 10.6.8 and iCal 4.0.4.
I don't really know if my iPhone 4S is picking up her calendar info. I have never been able to see if/how an iOS retrieves cloud data when accessed.
Any help appreciated.

You will find that the calendar's URL bevins with ical.mac.com. The mac.com domain was one of MobileMe's website hosting domains, and with the closure of MobileMe none of its hosting works, including the CalDAV server which was used by a number of subscription calendars - mostly third-party but also some Apple ones: you would think, wouldn't you, that at least Apple would be aware of this. In fact a few days ago, following a similar query, I went through about twenty randomly chosen calendars in Apple's list, and only two of them worked. Most of the rest were ical.mac.com ones (there were a few with other servers which had also gone dead).
These calendars are no longer available, and won't be until the authors wake up and find somewhere else to host them.

Mine syncs with my Google Calendar, but I get an error every few minutes, as well. So annoying:
"The server responded with an error. https://calendar.google.com/calendar/dav/my address/user is not a location that supports this request."
If I had any clue which request it was talking about, I would try to turn it off.
