Errors with places.

Question

I have a few errors happening with iPhoto places.
(Before I start I have latest updates on all of my software and latest Mac OSX)
1 - When typing in the search it doubles up my characters. For example if I start to write London, after typing L then o it will show as "LLo", and then "LLoon", etc.
2 - Some custom places locations show in the search (before pressing the search button), some don't. When searching nothing happens at all.
3 - When looking at the places map and zoomed out some of the pins say "Unnamed location" or sometimes an older pin that I've renamed since. This problem is sorted when zooming in but is rather annoying.
(I've seen that Window-Manage My Places solves this, but when pins are merging they still say "Unnamed location")
I've also tried rebuilding the iPhoto library and that didn't help.
If anyone can help on any of these I'd be very grateful.

Thanks for the reply but I have concluded that apple have spent little time and money in developing this feature.
For a while I thought I'd solved the problem where it wouldn't find my custom locations, however it has returned so I can only search for some of them and not others.
It still doubles up on some characters when searching, which in my eyes is the worst thing about the software. However I'm not that bothered about that as the search never works anyway.
Today I added a few places and they work but don't show on the map and older ones still show on the map.
Also, when using Manage My Places, the one's I've deleted in the past, and then deleted in Manage My Places are still showing the next time I go there.
The whole feature is just one big hack that really doesn't work and I'm afraid apple's reputation of "it just works" really isn't being lived up to.
