ErrorSearchFolderNotInitialized
Hello,
In my company, mail search in OWA stopped working a few days ago. However, we're still able to search for people.
I noticed with Firefox development tools that this request is sent:
https://owa.mycompany.com/owa/service.svc?action=FindConversation
And I receive this response : The search folder is not initialized. And this response code "ErrorSearchFolderNotInitialized".
Why is that? And how can I repair this?

Hi Mike,
Owa - as well as all other Exchange WebServices - are hosted in an IIS Website on your CAS Exchange Servers. Each of those services (including OWA) are hosted in their own folder (virtual directory) within that Website.
These two commands effectively rebuild this owa folder (The error message very likely indicates that this folder has errors).
What it does not do is affect any mailbox content. These two commands in combination return OWA to its default state.
