Erros na instalação de sistema dentro do Virtualbox
Pessoal,
Alguém poderia me ajudar a descobrir o que está de errado com meu computador?
Tinha um software que tem drives que só funciona até o win 7 (32bits) e minha máquina tem o win8 64bits.
Primeiro tentei instalar em modo de compatibilidade mas não funcionou. Primeiro deu aquele erro de driver não assinado do Win8...
Consegui informações de como desabilitar mas mesmo assim a instalação falhou.
Então tentei usar o Virtualbox 4.3.16 fiz tudo como manda o manual e também vários tutoriais no Youtube... mesmo assim cai na armadilha do Virtualbox não reconhecer sistemas 64bits. Desinstalei e reinstalei tudo de novo achando que tinha ocorrido um erro na primeira instalação. Achei um tutorial que mostrava que devia habilitar na Bios a virtual machine.
Bom, agora com tudo funcionando, já tentei diversas vezes instalar o Win7 sem sucesso. já fiz download de 09 ISO diferentes e, sempre que tento instalar, cada um deles acaba dando um erro diferente...
Em alguns nada acontece, apenas fica uma tela preta ... em outras alerta que falta BOOTMGR, em outras começa a instalação e trava a 93% e assim por diante.
Como acho impossível que todas essas 9 versões que baixei da internet (alguma originais da Microsoft) tenham problema, acredito que seja algum problema relacionado com configuração da minha máquina, seja na BIOS, seja nos aplicativos ou recursos do Windows 8 que estão configurados ou habilitados de alguma forma que o Virtualbox não consegue instalar nada.
Fiz vários screenshot mostrando que dependendo da imagem ISO utilizada, um novo erro aparecia... deixei parte do programa aparecendo a configuração no momento. Vocês podem verificar que tentei várias configurações e ISOS.
Por favor eço que me ajudem a descobrir o que pode estar acontecendo que impede de eu usar o Virtualbox.
Nesse caso o ideal seria você criar uma maquina como servidor dai todas as maquinas usariam os programas instalados na maquina servidor,assim você configura e instala uma só vez o sistema

perhaps you're bound to virtuabox, but if not try VMWare, works well and "server" version is for free.

I am tring to install with the archive WindowsTechnicalPreview-x86-EN-US.iso on a VirtualBox Configuration for Windows 8.1. (32 bits)
The parameter for hardware acceleration VT-x/AMD-V is enabled.
I have created before other virtual machines with other operating systems without issues.
All those machines have been created with the last updated release of VirtualBox what is 4.3.16. and that is the same one that I am using this time.

GermanDo you have hardware support for virtualization on windows 8.1? Ensure that your VT-x/AMD-V acceleration is enabled also enable this feature in the BIOS setting menu.
Follow the given steps:
Reboot your computer and access the BIOS section> Advanced -> CPU Configuration
Click to enable the "No-Execute Memory Protection" option.
Go to Exit section. Choose Save Changes and Exit
Restart your system.

For whatever its worth...
I was able to resolve the issue. It was related to some instances of oracle still being there in the system. I cleaned up all the oracle environments and did everything over again. Seems to be working now..

Hello there, I have got problems with GRUB. I have Win 8 UEFI notebook with fastboot disabled and secureboot enabled. I am able to boot to my install drive in uefi mode.
Installation went well, but when I made
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
I have got bunch of errors. Sorry I have got czech locales, so Adresá nebo soubor neexistuje means Directory or file does not exists.

Turns out I wasn't using the --boot-directory=/boot/efi/EFI option to the grub-install like I was supposed to and that was why Grub couldn't be configured.
Another user fixed it by installing syslinux https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 1#p1315071 but others say grub works fine https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 5#p1321055 -

I'm trying to install the updated version of itunes on my desktop windows 7 64 bit and the same is presenting the following message:
"The isntalador have found mistakes before itunes could be configured. Errors occurred during the installation, the system has not been modified. Please run the installer again or click finish."
Some things have made the attempt at solving:
Reboot computer;
Clear temporary files folder;
Run as administrator;
Disable antivirus and firewall windows;
Try to install an earlier version of itunes (10.6 and 10.3).
Can i do anything else?
Estou tentando instalar a versão atualizada do itunes em meu desktop windows 7 64 bit e o mesmo está apresentando a seguinte mensagem:
"O isntalador encoutrou erros antes que o itunes pudesse ser configurado. Ocorreram erros durante a instalação, o sistema não foi modificado. Por favor execute o instalador novamente ou clique em finalizar."
Algumas coisas já feitas na tentiva de resolver:
Reinicializar computador;
Limpar pasta de arquivos temporários;
Executar como administrador;
Desativar antivirus e firewall do windows;
Tantar instalar uma versão anterior do itunes (10.6 e 10.3).

I would recommend uninstalling iTunes and all of it's components. Please make sure to uninstall all components outlined in the article below in order. Once this is done, install iTunes again.

first of all I apologise if my post has been solved but it is since yesterday (abt 24 hours ago) my Z10 is blocked at 96% installing last update.
I do not know what to do and I really need / find a solution as soon as possible.

How can I install Windows on my new Mac?
This question sounds simple, but I am going nuts. I got this MacBook Pro recently, and I need Windows (to run ArcGIS 10). I know it can be done, and in fact is very common. However, I'm stuck.
Here are the problems:
- Only Windows 8.1 is currently available from Microsoft
- According to Apple, 8.1 cannot be installed on a Mac
- My download from Microsoft included only a small .exe file, not an ISO
- I don't have a CD drive. Just an 8 gigabyte USB thumb drive.
- I don't care what version of Windows I get. If there's some way to get 7, that's fine.
So what do I do? How do I buy a copy of Windows that will work? How do I download it so that Boot Camp can use it? Hasn't this been done millions of times? I was on the phone with Apple for over an hour, and with Microsoft three times. No one can help. Can you?
Thanks!your best bet is to download virtualbox and install it that way
though if it's an exe it's not a full version but and upgrade so you need to install a full version in the
virtualbox first -

and i get 87% and then get this error
this is my partitions
160GB HDD
C: 28.8 GB "ٍSystem" "I am going to Install in this partition"
D: 30 GB
E: 30 GB
F: 30 GB
G: 30 GB

but i don't understand should i delete all my partitions or just only the " C:\ " and "100~200MB" system partition
did he mean delete Only the both " C:\ " and "100~200MB" system partition ?
cause I don't have "100~200MB" system partition just " C:\ "
When i install i just Format the " C:\ " then press
Next
Now should I just select Delete the " C:\ "
partition 0 "System" and recreate the partition again and press
Next
to Continue the installation

that's not possible i have a lot of Important data in all non-system partitions
i am using Oracle VM VirtualBox "and i free a lot of Space to Test the Iso File"
and i install Windows 8.1 in the VirtualBox
but i see when i try to install Windows 8.1 in the real machine the partition is
"system"
and when i install Windows 8.1 in VirtualBox the partition is
"Unallocated"
it install but it create a
320MB partition "system"
9.8GB partition "primary"
then i choose the primary and the installation complete and i have the Windows 8.1 in VirtualBox Now
Now i don't know should I just select Delete the " C:\ "
partition 0 "System" and recreate the partition again
to make 320MB partition "system" and the rest of the partition to Windows 8.1 "28.8 GB"
Like what happen in the VirtualBox
Or what i should do ?
