Erros while collecting objects in installation of Business Content

Hi All,
I am trying to install the standard DSO"0BBP_SC: from the business content.I have made grouping as"data flow before",and collection mode as automatic.
While collecting the objects,when i drag and drop the DSO ,following errors are coming:-
1.Object 45EX1L0TIWA4LUWZHUIKRNOCF (Routine,ROUT) could not be collected for object 053IXVX0
2.Object '45EX1L0TIWA4LUWZHUIKRNOCF' (ROUT) of type 'Routine' is not available in version 'D
3.Object 45EX3Q1RNVZ0DVY20BZPLCSU7 (Routine,ROUT) could not be collected for object 0I930KDE
4.Object '45EX3Q1RNVZ0DVY20BZPLCSU7' (ROUT) of type 'Routine' is not available in version 'D
5.Source system EBPCLNT200: No authorization for remote activation of DataSources
Please help me out with it...

Please activate all your required data sources in the source system..then replicate them in bw..Then try again...
It's an option only...may works some times...

Runtime error while collecting objects for activaton from BC

Hi gurus,
While collecting objects from busines content for installation, it is giving runtime error whith below description.
"UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" "CX_RSD_NAME_ERROR"
"SAPLRSDN_IOBJ" or "LRSDN_IOBJU35"
"RSD_IOBJNM_PARSE"
R3TR     FUGR     RSDN_IOBJ
An exception occurred which is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_RSD_NAME_ERROR', was not caught
and
therefore caused a runtime error.
The reason for the exception is:
Name 0SRVE_IS3___F00133 is invalid
Pl spot light on this .

Hi Surya,
hopefully you connected you R/3-System to your BW, go to "Business Content" by transaction "RSA1" and select your BC in the shown trees. The selected BCs can be dragged-and-dropped from left to right. Switching "Simulate Installation" under the button "Install" is a good idea, more important is the option "Only necessary objects" under "Grouping" - in all other cases you would get a lot of InfoObjects, -providers and so on you never need and which would fill your system with superfluously garbage.
After a successful installation you can use all the new Objects

Problem in installation of Business Content for Solution Manager

Hi all,
I have a problem while trying to install the Business Content for Solution Manager. In detail, I cannot install/ see the Process chains. I am not much familiar with Business content installation, so maybe I missed and /or some step.
Following the instructions from SAP IMG (SPRO/ SAP IMG / Solution Manager / Configuration / Scenario-specific settings / Solution monitoring / BI Reporting / BI Client) , I activated the Datasource 0SM_SMG_ROOT , performed all the steps and installed all the relevant Business Objects (Infoobjects, Datasources, Infocubes, Infopackages, etc.). All the objects seen from transaction RSA1 seem correctly installed and activated.
The last step is the installation/activation of the Process chains. This step is executed, but the installation job terminates with messages like Infopackage 0SM_XXXX does not exist in D version; activation not possible. It seems like Process chains are looking for some Infopackage, and these are not present. They are not present indeed, and I dont know why. The result is that no Process chain is visible from transaction RSPC.
Am I missing some step, or doing a wrong/ incomplete procedure ?

For Solman Service Desk, the following objects are used :
Cube : 0CSRV_C01
DSO : 0CRM_PROH
DataSource : 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS_H
And apart from this there are some MD datasources, for BPARTNER, USER STATUS, CATEGORY etc.

0QM_DS01 Installation in Business Content

hi,
When I am trying to install 0QM_DS01, using Business content it is disabling at Installation mark and its not available in the DSO list ....Again trying to reinstall , it is taking 4-5 hours and not installing .. May I know the reason for this?

Goto RSA1 transaction or RSOR
BW Administration ->Administrator Workbench-->Select the Business Content function area using the corresponding pushbutton --> select object types --> next select "Queries" --> search for your queries --> after selecting queries click on "transfer selection" >the queries are moved to the right hand side> here select the collection modes(automatic or manual) -->select grouping based on your requirements
select source systems ,if you do not select by default all the source systems are selected.
--.click on install -->it will prompt for a package(by default $TMP pacakge) change the package and create a transport request.

Installation of Business content and activation

Hello,
Our Source system is ECC 6.0 and
BW :NW2004 S and SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 .
We are able to create source system conection successfully . after installing the business content and replication, all the data souces in BW are still in Version D only. Do i need to select each DS individually to activate ? or am i missing any steps ?
Any help is highly appreciated ?

I was also passed this latest information from my colleagues in Product Management.
The method I explained is the old method for activating DataSources and extractors. It is still valid in SAP NetWeaver 2004s but there is a new, and easier, methid to do this now.
Also if you have followed my instructions, there is an additional change in the replication process and a decision you must make:
"Once the customer has activated the DataSource via rsa5 in source system, then he/she needs to replicate this datasource to BI. During the replication, he/she is asked via pop-up whether he would like to replicate these datasources as 3.X DataSource or 7.0.x DataSource.
If he decides to replicate these datasources as 7.0.x DataSources, then the A version of this datasource will be seen in table RSDS, instead of the original table RSOLTPSOURCE.
So if the customer checked table RSOLTPSOURCE, then he/she only see the D version.
This could be the reason that customer still only see D version after the datasource replication."
The new method is:
"- If you have a 3.X datasource, during the source system connection, the D
version of DataSource is already replicated into BI.
- With transaction RSOR in BI, you need to select the related transfer rule, and via transfer rule you are able to collect the 3.X DataSource.
- Then you need to push 'install' button to activate this datasource.
- After activation, the A version of DataSource will be available in BI and in Source system.
- If you have a 7.0.x DataSource, the steps are the same like 3.X datasource. But via transaction RSOR you are able to directly select this datasource (object type RSDS).
So with BI capabilities of NetWeaver2004s technology, it's no longer nessary to run rsa5 in the source system to activate the datasource."

How do i redo the changes occured due to installation of business content

I have installed some business content and this has effected about 80 existing Infoobjects and brought them to 'revised' version. This might have also effected other objects like transfer rules, update rules...... But now I want to retain the IObjects to previously 'active' version. Implying i want to do away with my action. I even donot remember what i have tried to instal...may be a datasource or something else. I have chosen the option 'before and after data flow', this i remember. We are presently using NW2004s. How and where do identify what i have tried to install and how do reverse my action.

Meanwhile,
You may want to check with basis for the backup of Yesterday so that they can retrieve the data.. It has to be a fast action as if they decided to restore from backup version.. may be you will not loose todays development work..
are the objects get transported?
try collecting again in the same maner and try to prepare in the excel sheet for the objects.. may be the previous LOG also can guide you some starting point..to help u .. ( not very sure..)

Error while Installing the update rules in business content

Hi All,
I got the following error,when i was installing the update rules : Object UPDR D4C8V3KA00XD5ANPVUAH9KQDJ could not be found in version M. but these update rules appear as inactive mode in bi content-object types-updaterules-selection-inactive status.
Please could i know where we can check version status for business content pdaterules. but it was showing NOT FOUND IN Version M .
please anybody can help me for solving this error.

Hi,
You can check the Content Release and Last Content Modification for your update Rules following thee given path:
RSA1>BI Content>object Types>Update Rules>Select object(search for ur update rules) -->Transfer Selections.
After they are being transfered to the right pane.On right pane (where you can see the its technical name) scroll towards right you will see last three tabs as "Content Release,Last Content Modification and Person responsible".
Change the Grouping as "Before and afterwards" and then try installing.

Hi padma,
      Select which CUBE or ODS from Bussiness content Is matching with ur requirement... choose that.(by going www.help.sap.com)
1. and now go to RSA1 and click on BI CONTENT tab..
2.   now search that cube or   ods by giving the name in find option..
3. select that cube and drag it into right side window....
4. it will asking some options.. select all the check boxes
5. and click on install button on the top of the application tool bar in right side window..
6.it will take some time..
7. after that activating now go to info provider tab..
8. you can find ur cube there..
.. see padma.. when ever you reward points to answered people.. then only you will get more answers.. previously.. you did't give any points....

Query elements while collecting objects

HI,
I have a query ,when i have changed some objects(means properties of chars and added some chars to rows )and save in a request .if i check in a SE09 particular request .
i'm not able to understand those elements of technical names.
can anyone help me how to find those objects collected properly or not .Is there any table to find .

Hi,
The entries under your Transport request -> Elements of the Query Builder in SE09 is nothing but the collected query components.
Suppose you make change to a single query with UID (You can find this in Query Designer -> Query Propertiers -> Advanced )e.g. - ABCDXXXXXXXXXXXXX , then all the components starting with first few letters of the UID will be part of same query.
There are multiple entries in your tranport request.
Before releaseing the request do the following checks under SE09-> Request/Task -> Complete Check and if any inconsistencies error message willl be popped up.
Object Syntax Check
Check Request Consistency
Display Inactive Objects
If no errors, proceed with release and transport of request.

How to get objects necessary for transporting Business Content?

Hi Experts,
Small ques for u:
I have installed 0FIAA_C11, 0FIAA_C12, 0FIAA_C13 for Asset Accounting in Dev system. Already the previous content 0FIAA_C04 was installed and transported to Quality system.
Now I want to transport new content (0FIAA_C11, 0FIAA_C12, 0FIAA_C13) to Quality. But I guess since already some infoobjects were transported to quality, transport connection wud nt show me all necesary objects.
So how to get a list of all objects necessary so that my req does nt fail while moving to production from quality.(I think req might not fail while goin from Dev ->quality).

I have already applied "Before setting". But the problem is I dont want to transport objects which are not relevant to me, but only those which are necessary for content described in previous mail.
If we check the link provide by you " For activating an InfoSource, InfoObjects may also be necessary which are not contained in the InfoCube and have therefore not yet been collected. However, for these additional objects, the objects that come before them in the data flow are not collected.
" I am worried by about these.Some objects will be missing and some are in addition which are not all required, and we shud nt transport them.How to be sure tht transport will not fail and it is consistent as well?

Problems in installation of Business Content...

We have just installed BI 7.0.
And for checking I tried to install a simple Query:Number of trips....
In grouping I had selected IN DATAFLOW BEFORE AND AFTERWARDS...
Still in STIMULATTE INSTALLATION I am getting errors like:
InfoObjects for InfoCube 0FITV_C01 not available in active version(error message concised as coming for all InfoObjects of the InfoCube)
Data source 0COMP_CODE_ATTR_TEXT not maintained
More errors concerning the InfoCube 0FITV_C01 coming. But infocube 0FITV_C01 is in collected items.
Can anyone please guide how to solve this.

I tried to install but errors are coming for Update rules...
Actually it is stating:
Data source 0HR_PA_OS_1 not maintained
This it is stating for other data Sources also...
I have successfully activated the Datasources in BI and then activated the same.
Can anyone guide me what more needs to be done to the Datasources to eliminate the error...

Problem in collecting objects for BI Contents installation

Hi All ,
While collecting objects in BI content i am getting some error. Every time in stus bar the status shows "Destination Check with client ". After this status comes the session logs out automatically and a Error massage come i.e. "PBI error : SAP System error ". and even no log is maintained in slg1.
please help me.

Rohit,
Before collecting the objects, select the proper source sytem (keyboard shortcut is Shift + F7), then collect the objects .. also as suggested you need to check if the RFC connection to your source system is woeking fine ..

I am facing error "InfoObject 0COMP_CODE is not available in active version" while simulate installation of business content of cube 0FIGL_C10. Please guide me for the same.

I have been trying to activate business content- info objects catalogue, and have been gettin the below errors. I have activated ocomp-code and checked it with transaction sm37, and it says the job has finished.But i am not sure if i have to activate all the info objects thereof one by one.

Exactly what your trying to activate?
info object or data source?
Use grouping option as - only necessary object and drag required object form middle pane to right side pane.
try to install it. If it shows any dependences then those first need to install.
above mentioned name is GL Account master data source hierarchy.
