Errro message while running report in Web I rich client

Hi,
I am using Web I rich client XI R3.1 version and generating the report based on stored procedure universe. After giving the parameter information and while trying to run the report am seeing the error message as follows:
An internal error occurred while calling 'answerprompts' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)
I appreciate your inputs for resolving this issue.

Linked Reports with Web Intelligence Rich Client

Hi,
Is it possible to build a linked report with WebI Rich client without using InfoView?
Assume the following simple report which select some fields of a file transfer information.
TransferID      Filename   Transfer Status
1                        a                       OK
2                        b                       OK
3                        a                       NOK
Now I want to click on the record with TransferID 3 and get some more information for that particular record such as:
TransferID      Filename   Transfer Status Date Duration
3                        a                       NOK         Feb 24      5
In other words, I'd like to do select of that table with the where condition "TransferID = 3" which corresponds to the record I clicked in my initial report.

Wrong message while running report in bex analyzer

Hi Experts,
I have created an authorization object based on compnay code. I use the option RSECADMIN => Analysis => Execute As, to test this authorization object. When I give incorrect company code value, it displays correct message that is 'No authorization'.
But when I test in bex analyzer for same report, with same incorrect company code value instead of showing 'No authorization' message, it shows 'No applicable data found' message. Is there anything wrong here?
How can I show the correct authorization message 'No authorization' in bex analyzer, when incorrect company code is supplied?

thanks for reply.
I also thought that way initially but then was skeptical of different message received while testing in RSECADMIN. If SAP is going to show 'No applicable data found' message then how will a user have any idea that actually he is not authorized for the supplied value of company code.
does anyone know if this is bug or is there any workaround to show right message i.e. no authorization.

Error message while running reports. Reports are failing

Does anyone knows what could be the reason for this error messages. We are using BOXI R2 with IIS. We are getting this message on the boxi processing server not on web server.We are getting this on al the three clustered processing servers. This has started happening recently else it was working perfectly till now.

We did multiple changes which I have mentioned in other thread. We used -port and -ns command line on each server. We have deifned CMS by IPAddress:6400 in command line.
It seems to have resolved this issue.. When we do IPCONFIG on the server then we see 2 NIC cards ( 2 IP address). It seems that BO was confused to which one to use. So we hard coded the values of the NIC card ( IP address) in the command line of CMS and on all services.

FRM-92101 error while running report from a button or menu

I am getting the error FRM-92101 while running report without parameter from a button or menu. I am using Developer Suit 10g. I get the error as it shows there has some configuration problem in my form. Will you please help me anyone how can i solve the problem. In that case I have changed the query to run the report. first of all i create a view following the query and build the report using a simple select query. that's etc. my report running fine now.

Error 404--Not Found - while running report in 11g

Dear All ,
I have my oracle application in 10g R1. Now we are migarting that to 11g .
There is a temporary directory where we are generating report output (PDF)
we are using an alias name web_reps for this folder .
Given the AliasMatch in forms.conf and in registry given the alias name for FORMS_MAPPING .
It was working with 10g . Tried the same in 11g so that report is generating in the folder (PDF)
but while openeing the file using web.showdocument () using the alias name it is giving the below error .
Error 404--Not Found

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

Are you using apache in front of your weblogics, or just plain weblogic? Also please post the full version of your 11g installation (11.1.1.x or 11.1.2.x). If you are using no apache and the 11.1.1.x version for development (without apache) the forms servlet and the reports servlet are deployed on different weblogic instances running on a different port; meaning forms is available under e.g.
http://ias:9001/forms/frmservlet
whereas reports is available under
http://ias:9002/reports/rwservlet
but when running reports via web.show_document it assumes both are running on the same port. Also make sure your weblogic instances are up and running. So either you use apache for production (in 11.1.1.x or 11.1.2.x) or you go for 11.1.2 in development where the forms and the reports servlets are deployed on the very same port. As far as I am concerned I'd go for 11.1.2 as the production environment is nothing different from 11.1.1 and the development environment is a hell of a lot easier to install.

Hope all the required currency configuration settings are followed in Entity, Input currency, Category, Account correctly. Also reporting currency indicates the right reporting currency with the 'Reporting' propert set to 'Y' to the currency that you want to report in.
For the period that you are running the currency trans, could you also maintain rates for the reporting currency as 1.
Check your rate data. And please post your currency conversion script here.

Timeout error while running Report

when I had OLD computer i was able to run report more than 10 minutes. Now, I got NEW computer and i am getting TIMEOUT error while running report more than 10 minutes.
Any clue?

As Fs says it depends on how you're running the report.
If you're running via a server then you need to make the change on that server or amend the URL you are using to run the report to add the enginereponsetimeout parameter.
You can amend this parameter on the server either by using the Application Server Control as I described in my last post or by directly editing the config file. This file will be called <reportservername>.conf and can be found in the oracle_home/reports/conf directory.
In this file look for the engine tag and see if the engineResponseTimeOut property is set.
E.g:
<engine id="rwEng" class="oracle.reports.engine.EngineImpl" initEngine="1" maxEngine="4" minEngine="1" engLife="50" maxIdle="20" callbackTimeOut="90000" engineResponseTimeOut="5">
</engine>
This value is in minutes so increase to a time larger than that it takes to run the report.
If instead you're running the report via Report Builder on your own PC then look for a file called rwbuilder.conf in the same location on your PC and make the same change as described above.
If this property isn't in the file then the engine isn't supposed to time out at all so the problem may well be something different. But to discount it try setting to a large value like 30.

From the description of your problem above, your cumulation calender has not been generated for that month.
Please take necessary action to ensure that calendar type is assigned to pay period in payroll area, by maintaining the payroll period which is represented by Date modifier and period modifier in view maintainance for table T54C1.
Entries for this table are generated with the program RPUCTP10. (You should not have to create manual entries in this table.)

Dataset can not be open error while running report rtcctool

Hello Experts,
While running report rtcctool we are gettin following dumps the says
ABAP runtime errors DATASET_CANT_OPEN
Occurred on 05/27/2011 at 10:00:52
Unable to open file "/usr/sap/B**/DVEBMGS00/sec/SAP_AGS_OLCNT_VERIFY.pse".
I am aware that the eror is happening because of this file but not sure from where to get this file. Please let me know any of you aware about this.
