Errror -50 on OS 8.5

I use an older Mac once in a while with a CD burner and printer. It's an 8100 with OS 8.5. CD burner usually has worked fine, with Fetch software. I now get a mac os error when I try to initiate a CD burn session. It's "error -50" which is apparently an "error in user parameter list". I have always been the only user of this computer. I see a extention control panel for users, but I have never changed anything there. Any ideas on why this OS error is not allowing Fetch to operate, or what I can do to aleviate? Or can anyone explain this error -50 ?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. When something used to work and then quits, try to identify what changes can occur without your effort. First, has the computer been unplugged for a time? Your PRAM battery may have died and settings have reset without your knowing it.
You mentioned extensions. Open up extensions manager and check to make sure that all the necessary extensions for your burner are active. Drivers can also become corrupted without your help. Installing a new driver might help.
Finally, if you have a backup system archived on an external drive, you can boot from it and see if that system and extensions work.

Im finding a similar issue but with task SDE_ORA_GLJournals,
the code is :
AND DECODE(, 'Y', GL.LEDGER_ID, 1) IN ()
AND DECODE(, 'Y', GL.LEDGER_CATEGORY_CODE, 'NONE') IN ()]
the parameters are also fine in the parameters file.
Has anyone found a solution or an explanation for this?

In weblogic 8.1, getting below exception often,
          javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: Input/output errror: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer.

          Although no problem, but it seems to slow down.
          Technology used is mix of jsp, servlets & struts framework

I also experience this. I have wenlogic 8.1sp6.
          It was affecting one part of my application in that no data is being returned. I had to stop and restart the server to get connection going again. I notice no one with weblogic 9 has the problem. I may upgrade to version 9 soon if that will help to solve this problem.

Hi, I am trying to rebuild the "AdobeAccessPro4-setup\Reference Implementation\Sample Video Players\Desktop\Flash Player\Source" by using "Flash® Builder™® 4.7" and Flex4.6 SDK, But I couldn't able to rebulid it because of following errors, Can anybody advice to fix those errors?

Investment order settlement rule Errror

Dear All,
While creating an Investment order, system will ask for creation of AUC asset if investment profile in assigned to the Order and creates an AUC asset with autoomatic generation of settlement rule.
But when i m trying to create the said order with investment profile attachment, and AUC creation system is not allowing me to save the order with errror as below:
Enter a distribution rule for Asset without a validity limit
Message no. KD059
Diagnosis
The settlement profile used requires you to define a distribution rule for Asset. For period 003 2011, however, you have not created a distribution rule for Asset.
Procedure
Create a distribution rule for Asset without a validity limit, because, if the distribution rule does have a validity limit, the system always issues this message in the period following the last valid period.
You can also use a different settlement profile that does not require such a distribution rule, or change the settlement rule used.
Can you pls let me know what is the cause of this error message,

Dear Ajay,
I have not manually created settlement rule as it is an Investment order to which Investment profile is assigned.
When Order is created, system will prompt for AUC creation. I have done that but when saving it is showing this error.
System will create Settlement rule automatically to this investment order, which is not happening in my case though i have assinged Investment profile.

Have no clue. However, this is not the Reader forum either. It may be that you do not have permission to do the update (probably need to be the administrator) or you have anti-virus running. If it is really an OS error, then maybe the question needs to be asked in a MS forum.

Sorry for the late response. I have a working example based on the same thread right in front of me. I did try re-check my application by entering some invalid values into the filter inputfield. It just ended up in a blank table without no matching entries. I guess that you have missed somewhere in following that thread. I will explain the steps to do.

For all kind of errors the only tool available which bugs or say alerts for the error is Alert Management.
Alerts are messages which can be raised in case of failure.
Alerts - used for system errors, u can send a mail or msg whenever there is any failure. alert configuration can be done in t-code - ALERTCATDEF.
Alert Categrory can be defined in transaction ALRTCATDEF on abap stack. we can assign receipients to every alert category which specifies who will receive alert in case of error.
Alert rules can be defined in RWB.
for configuring alerts u need follwing roles first for defining or creating alertcategory
the roles reuired to access the RWB are:
1. SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER
2. SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN
The roles for the Alert Management are:
1. SAP_ALM_ADMINISTRATOR
2. SAP_ALM_CUSTOMIZER
3. SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER
Once this is done
alert category is defined and then tested

Errror.printstacktrace() in non debugger version of flash player

Hi,
i want to log the run time errors occured into data base . I am able to handle it by using try catch block.
Using errror.printstacktrace() method i am able to get the errror occured at the source with line no.
Un fortunatley errror.printstacktrace() returns null in non debugger version.Its working only in debugger version of flash player.
but in production environment we will have only non debugger version of flash player. Is any work around to get the errror occured at the source with line no.(simillar to stack trace)
I don't unserstand why we have to use non debugger version in production environment. Is any advantage of having non debugger version in production environment?

Well, the non-debugger version is much faster, and, because it does not show the exception dialog it is more tolerant of run-time errors. I don't know of any way to get more details without a debugger player.
