ES 2.5 Correspondance Management Add Template API

Hi All
I want to programmatically add an XDP letter template to the ES 2.5 correspondance management system, is there an API or WS to enable this to happen?

Hi,
CM has a Form (XDP template) as well as a Letter (Correspondence Template that uses a Form) - Not sure which one you are looking for when you said “XDP letter template” [but my guess is that it’s the former that you may be looking for].
So, if you are looking to add an XDP template, i.e., create a Form, you may use the FormService APIs (createForm(…)) to do so. And in case you are looking to create a Letter you should be using the LetterService APIs (createLetter(…)).
These APIs (available in the adobe-acm-client.jar in your installation’s client libs) are exposed as Spring beans, as part of the Asset Composer building block.
(you can easily expose a Spring bean as a Web Service - http://static.springsource.org/spring/docs/2.0.x/reference/remoting.html)

Why doesn't version 17.0.0.169 show up in IE11 8.1 64-bit Manage Add-Ons?

KB3044132 shows as installed for Flash Player update, and the Control Panel Flash Player icon for 32-bit shows 17.0.0.169 installed (I have 64-bit and 32-bit), but the Manage Add-Ons for Shockwave is Enabled and showing version 17.0.0.134! When I check the version using Adobe it only shows 17.0.0 and not the important part, so I cannot tell if Adobe detects 17.0.0.169 or 17.0.0.134! I think I need to know if IE11 64-bit has 17.0.0.169 also. Please advise because Microsoft technical support says to contact Adobe about this. Please delete my entry in Adobe general forums, Bridge general discussion as michaelh94875078. I did not see Flash Player on the list of communities provided during my first post.

It occurs to me that maybe Microsoft will not allow their 17.0.0.169 KBitem to go out until their next update on the second Tuesday of May for their convenience and reputation! I want any update for Flash Player to be installed immediately for security. That is why I tend to use Firefox with NoScript and Web of Trust when I use a Google search. I will be watching the next Microsoft update to note if the KBitem it said was not appropriate for my computer - goes in!

I'm sorry, I misread your previous post and thought it had been installed. From my experience with Microsoft Updates is that some times they depend on some update being installed. I'll run Windows Updates and install all updates, then run Windows Updates again after all updates finish installing. Sometimes it finds new updates that weren't there before, and sometimes it doesn't. You can try that route, or download the Microsoft update posted at the bottom of the Flash Player Issues | Windows 8 page. Download the one that corresponds with your OS version. You may want to bookmark this tech note for future reference in case Microsoft Updates fails to detect the update is available for your system.

Service monitoring is not showing all the services when i create a service monitor under Management pack templates.

I am using SCOM 2007 R2 CU4 in my environment. I want to do a service monitoring on specific agents. When i try creating this service monitor which comes under the Management pack template when i select the service which i want to monitor it does not
show all the services in the drop down.
For example - I have Windows audio service which is present on the machine, But it is not showing in the service list.
So from the services stating from "W" i see only 5 in SCOM and in services.msc in the Agent i see more than 5.
Below is the screen shot.
Can any one please help.

So based on your above suggestion, If the services are already managed / monitored by a specific
management pack those services will not appear here in the Wizard while creating this type of a Management pack object alert right ?
If that is the case why does not the same reflect here in the operations console in the Services monitor

In manage add-ons, Adobe Flash Player is listed under Not Available, but is listed as enabled.

When trying to view something that needs flash player, it tells me that I need to have flash player to do this. So I go to install it, and it tells me it is already installed with my Windows 8. So, then it tells me to either Enable flash player or to disable Active x filtering. Active x filtering is not enabled, so I go to Manage add ons, and it shows that Shockwave Flash Object is listed under the heading NOT AVAILABLE, but is listed as being enabled. I have tried to reinstall flash player, but it won't let me because it is already installed. Not sure why it is showing up under Not Available, and not under the Adobe heading with my Adobe PDF reader. Can anyone tell me how to get flash player back from this point???

In Windows 8, under manage add-ons, Flash player is listed under the heading Not Available, but is listed as being Enabled.

I Try to reinstall it but it tells me it is already pre-installed with my windows 8 and to turn off active x filtering or to enable it in manage add ons. Active x filtering is not on, and it is currently enabled, it is just listed under the Not Available heading and I am guessing that is why it is not working when I go to view something that needs flash player. Is there a way to uninstall it and reinstall it going around the windows preinstalled?? Or a way to get it out of the Not Available and into the Adobe heading in my add-ons??

What you can do is either Reset IE (Gear > Advanced > Reset), or if that doesn't work, you'll need to go into Add/Remove programs, find the last Windows Update for Internet Explorer or Flash, uninstall it, then re-install it from Windows Update. This will usually get you back to a good state with IE.

Adobe PDF Reader Publisher 'not available' in IE Manage Add-ons

Some users of a website that displays PDFs in the browser are not able to view the PDFs. These users are using IE9 and Adobe Reader XI on a Windows 7 machine. They have gone through uninstalling, reinstalling, and repairing Adobe Reader XI and have ensured that the IE settings match the IE settings for other users whose setups work correctly. The only difference is in the Manage Add-Ons. On machines that do work, the publisher for the Adobe PDF Reader add-on is listed as 'Adobe Systems, Incorporated'. On the machines that do not work, the publisher is shown as 'not available'. My gut feeling is that since the publisher is listed as 'not available', Microsoft doesn't trust the add-on and won't run the ActiveX control to display the PDFs in the browser.
How can I fix those systems so that the add-on shows as 'Adobe Systems, Incorporated' on the machines that do not work? Or how can I get them to work regardless of the publisher listed? Or is this even the issue of why these machines will not display PDFs in the browser?

They do assure me that they are using the 32-bit version of IE. I think the add-on doesn't show at all in the 64-bit version.

In CMC Manage- Add- Crystal reports option is missing

Hi: I want to import a .rpt via CMC. I understand that I am supposed to navigate to a folder and Manage -> Add -> Crystal Report
In my case the only options are ProgramFile and LocalDocument.
Does someone know why? Is it because, CrystalReports designer is not installed?

If you select "Local Document" and then select the .rpt file you want to publish, it will know that this is a Crystal Report and give you a couple of options for that. It will then be added to the system correctly.

Installed Flash player 10 but cannot find Shockwave flash object in manage add on's in IE?

install, checked all proxy settings. only thing that seems to be missing is when you op
en internet explorer and go to Tools, then manage add on's there is no Shockwave flash object. How do i fix this it shows that Flash player is installed correctly but it is not in my internet explorer add ons

Zul manager add on error on workspace URL

Hello, we are using the Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.5.210. I am using Firefox Mozilla to go to workspace, however, when I type in the workspace URL I get an error message that the Remote XUL Manager add on for Mozilla Firefox in not configured.

The version you have given is for Smart View I believe and not planning, have you installed the XUL Manager and added the url because depending on version it will be required.

IE showing Flash Player status disabled, despite the fact that it's enabled in Manage Add Ons.

I uninstalled Flash Player version 13 on Windows 8 and then re-installed Flash Player version 11.7.700.275. After the successful installation message, I restarted the computer, but when I access the URL 'http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html' it says, Your Flash version: Disabled. Despite the fact that IE is showing it enabled in Manage Add-Ons. Please help.
