Es-cli questions (3.6.1)

Couple of questions on the cli
1) Looking to get a real life example of getAttribute and setAttribute. Docs seem a tad short on that. Need to change
some thresholds. Older systems causing alerts which need to tuned abit to avoid daily usage on these older systems.
2) Is there a more complete guide on the cli? Better real life examples.....
3) Is there an ability in the cli to script a loop of commands that operate on a list in a file (say a file of specific hosts)?
Thanks,

Although I do not have any setAttribute or getAttribute examples handy, the following may be helpful as an example of adding hosts using the CLI:

  • Amex auto CLI question and 100k plat offer

Two questions: 1. Does Amex do auto cli? I feel like I may be near the line with all my amex credit so I do not want to do a SP CLI request and send up any flags, but if they were willing to give me an auto CLI I'd like one on my SPG card because I only have a 2k limit on it which is somewhat annoying. I could shift spend over to it and max it out each month, but I do not want to do so if the chances are limited on an auto cli. 2. I have seen reports of people getting a 100k signup offer on the amex plat via cardmatch.com has anyone gotten this offer? I punch in my info and see no amex offers, but I see offers for chase CSP/Freedom/Slate. The first two I have and the last I do not need.

Yes, Amex does auto CLIs.  As for your 2nd question, the offers does come up for those who qualify.  You just have keep checking and see if it shows up for you.

  • Macy's and Bloomingdales cli question

I have a Macy's and Bloomingdales account that I want to do cli. My question is how should go about the special events account. I was reading somewhere that there were only combining the balances not the limit and you need to have used the new account in 24 months.

Call and ask for a cli on both then ask for a special events account. Tell them you want to buy a mattress or furniture. If you haven't used the special events account with a minimum $500 purchase the limit will not merge.

  • Cisco ISE and Admin CLI question

    Hi there.
I have strange problem with my ISE installation. First of all I use AD users for authentication. It works fine over HTTPS. I can login with my AD admin by HTTPS.
The problem starts when I try to login via CLI (SSH). I got login prompt. When I type my AD credentials it says "Login Incorrect" and I got the same result if I try with the local admin account.
I did try to reset the local admin account password via HTTPS to verify that type the correct password. But no effect.
My ISE is installed on VMware.
    Any experiences with this one?
    BR.

The CLI authentication which is the base Linux OS is not/cannot be tied to AD for admin authentication. You only integrate the application installed on the top of Linux, which in this case is ISE, to AD. So to login to the cli shell you will need to use the username/password that you configured during setup. If you don't recall those you will need to perform a password rest via the installation CD/ISO

  • VTP cliant question

if a switch is in cliant mode and it saves no vlan configuration... when it is reset do i need to configure the switchports to the right vlan again?
if so that meens that if i have a blackput or somthing i will have more work then making all swiching in transparent mode.

    Normally no.
VTP advertisements are sent on the default VLAN1.
So your switch will boot, with no VLAN info, only the default VLAN. It will then learn all VLAN information on VLAN1. The VLAN number where a port is put into, is stored in the running config and is not deleted when you reboot (switchport access vlan 2)
I even think that the switch will request VTP info actively when rebooted, instead of waiting for the next advertisement interval (5 min)
A possible problem can occur when a client VTP switch is rebooted and fails to retreive its VLAN info because a trunk port does not come up. The switch will have ports configured in VLAN x, but VLAN x remains unknown. so the ports will be in err-disabled state.
    Please rate is usefull.

  • Capital One Platinum CLI Question

I have received a Capital One Platinum Mastercard back in August.
Tomorrow is my 5th statement being cut but I keep reading about steps increases every 6 months.
I never got a letter or email about being in the steps program.
If I'm not in steps what am I looking at for a possible CLI and when?
    Thanks in advanced.

  • CLI question (regarding Amazon and mainly AMEX)

My credit had been doing great until a few weeks ago when I faced an emergency. In 2 weeks, I went from around 2% utilization to over 35% (once my new balances begin to report). I'm paying down the balance on each card as fast as I can but it's going to take a while. My scores have already begun taking a hit but are all still above 700 (checked earlier). I'm a couple weeks away from my 4th statement from Amazon which was to be my cue to request a CLI. However, I'm worried that my scores will continue to drop by then. I was really hoping that a couple of CLIs in conjunction with large payments would help my utilization and soften the hits my scores have been talking. My payment history is perfect right now and will continue to be perfect. My issue right now is my utilization. Should I expect a definite denial regarding my CLI request? Is it even worth an attempt? Right now, any cushion would be helpful while I pay these balances down. And more importantly, I'll be reaching my 180th day since my last AMEX CLI in about 2 months. I currently have a balance of $4k on a $6k limit due to my emergency. I'll be paying off $2k of the balance before this current statement closes and probably another $1k by the end of the next statement. I'm not sure that I'll be able to pay off the last $1k before my 180th day. I heard AMEX doesn't care for carrying a balance when you request a CLI. If that's the case, is my second 3x CLI potentially doomed?

No telling for certain.  All we can really say is that the CLI you're eligible for depends on your credit and income and that revolving utilization is a significant factor.  If you want the best possible odds then get your utilization as low as possible and make sure that the rest of your profile is in the best possible shape. Ares19 wrote:
I heard AMEX doesn't care for carrying a balance when you request a CLI.That's an oversimplified generalization that gets parroted a lot around here.  Both my BCP and TE were carrying balances when they received their CLI's.  Again, it's about one's credit and income as it is with any creditor.  Balances play a part they're factored into utilization.  There are many other factors at play that all matter.  Worst case is you get a denial, reason(s) and have 90 days to try again.  It's not the end of the world.

  • Overstock CLI question..

So I tried hitting the love button online and got the following message: REQUEST CREDIT LIMIT INCREASEThank you for your interest in a credit limit increase. To complete your request, we need more information. Please call the Customer Care team at 1-855-810-2546 (TDD/TTY: 1-888-819-1918) at your earliest convenience. I called customer care and they said they "need more information" from me. They advise they will mail out a letter in the mail with details on what they need from me??? For a credit limit increase? Has anyone else had this happen to them? What kind of verification do they need? I'm a little confused, any insight would be greatly appreciated!

  • How to configure subnets

I have a SA520 I couldn´t find where to configure multiple subnets on one vlan, could someone help me?This device supports CLI? .
    TY

    Good afternoon
    Thanks for using our forum.
Hi luis brown  my name is Johnnatan and I am part of the Small business Support community.
I´m afraid you can´t configure multiple subnets per vlan in your device, you can only configure one per vlan, about the CLI question, this device does not support CLI, you have to configure your device  through the GUI
I hope you find this answer useful, if it was satisfactory  for you, please mark the question as Answered.

  • Capital One low CLI, options and questions...

I opened my first credit card in January 2011. It was an Orchard Bank MC that was later sold and converted to a Capital One Platinum MC. A few years later (not sure) it was converted to the QS MC. Since I opened this account I have never missed a payment or had any negatives on my report. I got my last CLI 6 months and a few days ago. Because I have open 6 new credit cards in the past 2-7 months and meeting spend requirements I haven't been using the card much at all. I created a spreadsheet to calulate when I could request another CLI. 180 days after my last. On day 180 I requested one and was declined because of low payments. The card had a ~$500 balance a couple months ago that I paid off so the reason didn't make sense. I figured the reason was lack of recent usage. So for the past few days I have been using the card and requesting daily. Today it finally approved me for $400 to bring my limit to $3900. I was really hoping for at least $1500 so it could be a WMC as I have a VisaSig. The increase and limit bothers me as its my oldest revolving account.
    I have the following cards...
    1/11 C1 QS $3900
2/13 BoA BBR MC $5000 (BBR can't be WMC they say)
    1/15 C1 QS $3500
    1/15 Barclay Rewards $1000
    2/15 AMEX ED $9000
    3/15 Chase Freedom $4500
    4/15 Citi DiamPref $1500
5/15 Disc It Secured $500 (really secured but wanted the card, best card I got IMO)
    5/15 BoA 123 VisaSig $5000
    Also to note...
    12/14 Mortgage $59k/$64k (double+ pmts)
4/15 Shared Secured Installment 352/500 (to max mix)
2/15 Victoria Secret 0/500 (big regret)
    FICO08 EQ 680 TU 700 EX 698
My question is was it a mistake to accept the low CLI now? Should of just contacted the EO for a manual review? Can I still do that or will I just get the line you got a CLI a day ago and gotta wait? Would they possible let me combine my 2 capital one cards ($3900 and $3500) into one card if they won't give me an addition $1100 increase for a WMC? I've had contact with the EO before and got the number; better to email or just call?
Sorry if this scramble, unorganized, grammar, etc as this is the 3rd time I've written it as the page times out and I lost it.
    So to recap my questions...
Does me accepting the low $400 CLI to $3900 today prevent the EO from possibly giving me a higher CLI?
Can you combine your limits on 2 cards into one? Would combine the newer card to the older one to keep my oldest CC open.
Any experiences you had with similar issues.
Thanks in advance for your time and responses.

As I've experience with capital one (capital one platinum) is that they DON'T give out many credit limit increases. I had my crapital one card since '09 and started when I was in rebuilder mode. Flash froward to present day and you can look at my siggy that I've come pretty far. High 700's and major credit cards in my wallet with some in the 10k plus and crapital one only gave me two CLI during my '09 to July 2015 loyalty to them. I felt I was capped at 2k after numerous emails to the EO. Don't sweat capital one and just use them for the history while you get better cards imho

  • GUI v CLI config and WDS question

    Hello-
I am attempting to deploy a wireless network. I have purchased two 1242Gs and one 1310G WAPs. My goal is to have a WPA V1 protected network utilizing WDS to allow seemless roaming at the location, with a second SSID for guest access that is directed to the gateway. It would be nice if this had a WPA pw also. The 1310 is external to the building where the other two 1242s are. I have attached configuration examples for each. One of my problems is I have to allow support for a legacy Crestron TPMC-10 media controller which is very picky about how its WiFi radio works. Crestron recommends these config lines:
    guest-mode
    mbssid dtim-period 10
    speed basic-1.0 2.0 5.5 6.0 9.0 11.0 12.0 18.0 24.0 36.0 48.0 54.0
no preamble-short ! CE devices only support Long Preamble
    channel 2462 ! channel 1,6 0r 11 only |
station-role root ! only one AP may host the SSID intended for TPMC-10
    connectivity.
    beacon dtim-period 3
no dot11 qos mode ! QOS negatively effects CE connectivity
no dot11 extension AIRONET ! AIRONET extensions negatively effects CE
    connectivity

I have read that using the GUI versus the CLI will leave artifacts and other commands not required for operation. Wondering on other's opinions of this and also any recommendations on how to simplify the config files.
I have attempted to create config files using the CLI examples provided by Crestron but that tends only allow the Crestron to connect and not laptops.
    Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.

  • Citi AAdvantage online CLI request question..

I requested a CLI for my Citi AA card online yesterday and I received a message stating --"A Credit limit increase was requested. We'll contact you soon with a decision." Just wondering is anyone has ever received this before ? I tried calling the EO office and they stated to wait for a call. FYI - This is a brand new account and the card was just activated yesterday. Thanks in advance.

  • Query help needed for querybuilder to use with lcm cli

    Hi,
I had set up several queries to run with the lcm cli in order to back up personal folders, inboxes, etc. to lcmbiar files to use as backups.  I have seen a few posts that are similar, but I have a specific question/concern.
I just recently had to reference one of these back ups only to find it was incomplete.  Does the query used by the lcm cli also only pull the first 1000 rows? Is there a way to change this limit somwhere?
Also, since when importing this lcmbiar file for something 'generic' like 'all personal folders', pulls in WAY too much stuff, is there a better way to limit this? I am open to suggestions, but it would almost be better if I could create individual lcmbiar output files on a per user basis.  This way, when/if I need to restore someone's personal folder contents, for example, I could find them by username and import just that lcmbiar file, as opposed to all 3000 of our users.  I am not quite sure how to accomplish this...
Currently, with my limited windows scripting knowledge, I have set up a bat script to run each morning, that creates a 'runtime' properties file from a template, such that the lcmbiar file gets named uniquely for that day and its content.  Then I call the lcm_cli using the proper command.  The query within the properties file is currently very straightforward - select * from CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_ANCESTOR = 18.
To do what I want to do...
    1) I'd first need a current list of usernames in a text file, that could be read (?) in and parsed to single out each user (remember we are talking about 3000) - not sure the best way to get this.
    2) Then instead of just updating the the lcmbiar file name with a unique name as I do currently, I would also update the query (which would be different altogether):  SELECT * from CI_INFOOBJECTS where SI_OWNER = '<username>' AND SI_ANCESTOR = 18.
In theory, that would grab everything owned by that user in their personal folder - right? and write it to its own lcmbiar file to a location I specify.
I just think chunking something like this is more effective and BO has no built in back up capability that already does this.  We are on BO 4.0 SP7 right now, move to 4.1 SP4 over the summer.
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
    thanks,
    Missy

Just wanted to pass along that SAP Support pointed me to KBA 1969259 which had some good example queries in it (they were helping me with a concern I had over the lcmbiar file output, not with query design).  I was able to tweak one of the sample queries in this KBA to give me more of what I was after...
    SELECT TOP 10000 static, relationships, SI_PARENT_FOLDER_CUID, SI_OWNER, SI_PATH FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS,CI_APPOBJECTS,CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS WHERE (DESCENDENTS ("si_name='Folder Hierarchy'","si_name='<username>'"))
This exports inboxes, personal folders, categories, and roles, which is more than I was after, but still necessary to back up.. so in a way, it is actually better because I have one lcmbiar file per user - contains all their 'personal' objects.
So between narrowing down my set of users to only those who actually have saved things to their personal folder and now having a query that actually returns what I expect it to return, along with the help below for a job to clean up these excessive amounts of promotion jobs I am now creating... I am all set!
Hopefully this can help someone else too!
    Thanks,
    missy
