ES1-111M-C529 Windows 10 upgrade - SD card and touchpad not installed

Hello People ! I upgraded my Acer to windows 10 Home edition 64 bit. Created the USB install from Microsoft page. Choosed the upgrade way. Win 10 installed : - video driver - wireless driver- bluetooth driver- network driver - sound - webcam Windows 10 did NOT detect :- SD card - touchpad I donwloaded ALL the drivers from acer for the model and win10 from official Acer page. After I installed ALL the Acer provided drivers / except for bluetooth / wireless - i still cannot see :- SD card- touchpad Anyone with sugestions ? Please provide some real usefull sugestions and not spam / copy paste things and so on if possible Thanks ! I solved the problem : I started looking for drivers in all the ES1-x11 family and compared the versions. For Intel IO Drivers : ES1-111M page : IO DriversIntelSerial IO Driver604.10135.1001.530012.9 MB2015/07/27File name : IO Drivers_Intel_604.10135.1001.53001_W10x64_ASize on disk : 2.91 MB (3,053,605 bytes) ES1-311 page : IO DriversIntelSerial IO Driver604.10135.1001.530013.0 MB2015/07/21File name: IO Drivers_Intel_604.10135.1001.53001_W10x64_ASize on disk : 3.01 MB (3,163,333 bytes) Supplementary the SD card reader only exist on ES1-311 page because of reasons .... CardReaderRealtekCard Reader Driver6.3.9600.212759.0 MB2015/07/21 Actually there are 2 files with the same name and version but with different sizes and different published date. I installed 1st the Card Reader - not sure if it was necessary or not and then i discovered that the IO drivers are different version and I installed ES1-311 version . The ES1-311 ( bigger size / published on 2015.07.21 ) worked perfectly on ES1-111M and now i have SD card and touchpad. So for future, dear users please start and search whole Acer Drivers site because they probably are not paid for this or dunno what reasons they can have to perform less profesionally than a 10 yo kid. More than likely HP is not going to support hardware for Windows 8 on any system purchased before Oct 1st 2011. Most Windows 7 drivers will work in Windows 8.
Check out this page to see if your computer has been tested by HP with Windows 8.
You can run the Upgrade assistant software, which will scan your PC and generate a report on what is currently installed on your PC is compatible with Windows 8. This upgrade guide for Windows 8 provides a lot of information that is needed for anyone considering upgrading.

ITunes upgrade (10.3.1) does not install.

I tried to uninstall iTunes, but this is not working for the same reason.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.

I have had this problem for close to a year. I have an Extreme base station, two Airport Express's and multiple G4 Mac's with up to date software. I have spent a huge amount of time trouble shooting, resetting, reapplying software and finally calling Applecare without any help. It would be great to get this problem solved.

Your best bet is to check the version of QuarkXPress you have. Since Lion does not include Rosetta my guess is this may be why it is not working. Check out this site http://roaringapps.com/apps:table. This site has a list of apps that work and don't work under Mac OS X Lion.
If you are working in a production environment freelance or stuido that uses design apps like QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop you should always wait to upgrade your OS. We have a 3 to 6 month policy for upgrading computers and software.
