ESata - is that a seperate bus from the FW800 port?

I'm thinking of sometimes booting from an external FW800 drive, and having video data on another such external drive. One using the FW800 port, the other the eSata port with a FW800 card.
If I were to daisy chain them they will be using the same data bus, so I figure that by using the eSata port I'll get a gain in performance.
Am I correct in believing this? Any tips, like which to have the OS on, and which the data?

Your comment is a little confusing. You can connect a FW800 drive directly to your FW800 port. As you have a 17 MBP, you have an express card slot. You can get an eSATA express card that will allow you to connect an eSATA drive. They would not be sharing a data bus. Daisy chaining two FW drives will share the FW bandwidth. If that's not what you're asking, please clarify.

If you didn't already do so, authorize your computer for the new ID by opening iTunes and going to Store>Authorize This Computer. Then sync your phone with iTunes.

I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

My daughter's 13" late 2011 MacBook Pro has frozen (null sign displays) after Yosemite installation. I can, however, boot from a clone of my MacBook Air that is on an external drive. I reinstalled Yosemite on the MBP HD, but it still hangs in mid install. Despite the fact that I can boot from the external, could it be the RAM that's the problem? I'd happily put 8 GB in if it seems probable that would solve the problem. I've tried all the suggested procedures that I've seen posted here. Disk Utility, and my older version of DiskWarrior indicate the HD is OK. I have DiskWarrior 5 on order.

Boot the MBP with the OPTION key down. If successful, you should see two HDD icons, Select the recovery partition (on the right).
From the 4 option menu select Disk Utility.
Run Disk Utility>First Aid, Verify and Repair.
If the disk cannot be repaired, it will have to be replaced.

You can use String.getChars to convert a String into an array of characters.
You can use a loop to get all the characters individually.
You can use System.out.println to print data on its own line.

What adapter are you talking about? The power adapter or some other adapter? If the power adapter are you sure it's a genuine Apple product? There have been recent reports of defective third party adapters causing injury. By third party I mean the cheap ones you find at a kiosk in a mall or at a dollart store. They can be dangerous.

Have you checked this issue from web access?
If the email address is saved as a contact in your Outlook, please try to delete it and then try to reply to the email to test if the problem persists.

Ok, so I just worked out that itunes communicates through your browser so it's a cookie in the browser not PC direct that fixes this. Bit of a convoluted route but for me it was IE>Internet setting>privacy>sites, then allow all activity from apple.com/itunes.
