OID instance not showing up on the Internet Directory page
The customer is trying to get iasconsole to display performance metrics, but OID instance does not show up on Internet Directory page. This is a clustered OID install and this only appears to occur on the clustered OID consoles. Fanout nodes display correctly. The customer also tried the suggestion in note 363483.1 but it did not correct the issue.
Any inputs appreciated.
Thanks

Biztalk Tracked service instances not showing
HI experts,
I have enabled tracking on the BTS host and then set the tracking properties of pipelines,
Even though i couldn't see the tracked service instances in the BTS 2010 admin console.
my tracking data is not being moved to trackingDB, i found this using below query.
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM [BizTalkMsgBoxDb].[dbo].[TrackingData]
which yields more than 3000 rows, which should not be.
How can i solve this error?
I am sure TrackedMessages_Copy_BizTalkMsgBoxDb job has no errors?
thanks in Advance....Check your default pipeline tracking settings in the management database:
SELECT
* FROM
BizTalkMgmtDb.dbo.StaticTrackingInfo
WHERE
strServiceName in(
'Microsoft.BizTalk.DefaultPipelines.XMLTransmit',
'Microsoft.BizTalk.DefaultPipelines.XMLReceive',

Staging instance not showing up in Visual Studio
Hi,
As of a few days ago when the transition from "Azure Websites" to the new "App Service" model, the staging websites do not show up in Visual Studio Server explorer.
Details:
Before, if I opened Visual Studio Server Explorer->Azure->Websites I could see both my production and "staging" websites and then click on the staging and do things like connecting a debugger.
Now: Under Visual Studio->Azure->App Service->Default-Web-WestUS only my main website, not its staging, shows up.
Therefore I can't do any runtime things like change files on the fly or debug my staging website.
ThanksHello Amitai R,
It is possible and unlikely that this would have to do anything to do with the change in name.
I suggest that you check the following to ensure.
1. Check if the staging slots are availaible within on the management portal.
Please open the management portal and expand your website to check if the staging slots are reflecting under it.
If the slots are available, I suggest that you redownload the publish setting file from the management portal and connect to your Visual studio.
You can refer to this link that will give you information on that:

Web Services do not show up in the console
I am using WebLogic 10.3 on Ubuntu. I have an application that has some web services using JAX-WS. I can deploy these on weblogic and they work fine (I can create a client app to call them). However, I do not see these services from the WebLogic console when I click on the deployments link.
I can create a new web application using IntelliJ that has JAX-WS web services. This app has one class, web.xml and sun-jaxws.xml. When this is deployed, the web service shows up in the Weblogic console under "Modules and Components". I have looked at the differences between the two applications and I do not see any.
Is there any trick to get the Web Services to display in the Weblogic console?
ThanksYou're welcome

Hello I have downloaded the J2EE package. It was working fine for a couple of months. Recently though, I had a problem in the admin console. I've some System.out.println statements in a static block in a Stateless

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your reply and sorry for the long silence. I was on vocation.
Thre problem still remains.I'm very sure that the EJB
is deployed by WebLogic as I'm able to call some methods.
and I'm also calling EJB methods from Servlet. But my
System.out.println statments work fine in the Servlet and
not inside EJB (or anyother classes used by EJB).
Any one has faced similar problems? BTW am using WebLogic 5.1

Hello Nithi,
I find it strange that your System.out.println statements are beingexecuted from
within your servlets, but not in your stateless session bean. Are
you
positive
that your EJB is being located and deployed by WebLogic? The statementsin
your
static { } block should be executed as soon as the WebLogic class
loader
finds
the class and loads it into the JVM. I would suggest examining theconsole
and
try to determine if your EJB is in fact being deployed. Are you invokingmethods
on the EJB inside of your servlets? Are you using any logging frameworkfrom within
the EJBs which would redirect output to a file?

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your reply. The setting in the weblogic.properties is
as
follows.
weblogic.system.enableConsole=true
So, that tells me that I should see all the System.out.printlns right?
(Pleasecorrect me if I'm wrong). I can see all the System.out.println
from
my
servletand not from the Session Bean (even if the System.out.println
is
outside
static block).
Please let me know your thoughts.

Hello Nithi,
Are you sure that you don't have WebLogic configured to redirect
all
messages
to a file instead of the console? Are you able to see yourSystem.out.println
statements when placed within other methods of your stateless sessionbean? Please
be a bit more specific.
Thank you,

SCCM not showing AD Site in Console
Hi all,
Not sure where to look at it for more information on this but I am having following issue
==> SCCM not associating AD site of some discovered machines
SCCM forest discovery runs without any problems and discovers all the AD sites in the forest. Most of the systems are discovered via System Discovery but in console their AD site appears to be blank see figure below. Anyone have any suggestions why would
it do that? That is correct but we should not ignore the DNS server role in here too. SCCM queries DNS when running discovery and gets the IP records from there
Not really. It queries DNS to verify that a valid A record exists and yes it does also retrieve the IP address to place in the resource record. But that's it, simple information retrieval only. It does not query AD to determine the AD site that a client is
a member of -- I'm not sure if there's even is a way to do this for a third-party object/service (third-party here being something not the the actual client and not referring to vendors).

3) Installed th eias_windows 10.1.3.4 patch.

Can some help me understand what the issue could be ...
I dont see any specifics in the logs under the domian of BPEL..

SaiI too had the problem of instances not showing up. I was suggested that if we add a Java Embedding activity after the recieveInput in the process with the method call "checkpoint();", we can get the instances shown in Console. I didn't get a chance to confirm the resolution.

ESB Services nor Default System not showing up in ESB console
We are running SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 and the services within the ESB console are not showing up immediately after logging into the console. I have verified that the credentials
within the esb_paramater table are correct. We have also increased the amount of max cursors on the DB. Is there something else
that we can try to get those services up and running?
Edited by: user5529739 on Jun 11, 2009 9:50 AMSo you can ping and nslookup from your ms to these agents and vice versa right? I wouldn't do a manual install, I would push the agent from the management server. You can uninstall the agent manually, or use cleanmom to get rid of them. Then
do an install from the console. When you initiate the install from the console (management server), should it run into any issues it will dump out an error which will give you an idea of where the problem may be.

1. Ensure agent push account has local admin rights
2. Firewall is blocking NetBIOS access. If Windows 2008 firewall is enabled, ensure “Remote Administration (RPC)” rule is enabled/allowed. We need port 135 (RPC) and the DCOM port range opened for console push through a firewall.
3. Inspect WMI service, health, and rebuild repository if necessary
4. Firewall is blocking ICMP (Live OneCare)
5. DNS incorrect

ESB Console: No Instances after reset.sh
Hi
I recently ran reset.sh on my 10.1.3.3 instance. Since then I cannot see any instances in the ESB Console. Also, there are no records in any of the ESB tables I expect, such as ESB_FAULTED_INSTANCE
The reset.sh ran successfully and I was careful to ensure the DB connection properties were correct.
ESB processes are running, but not getting dehydrated at any point. I know there are faulted instances, as I get e-mails informing me of errors.
Does anyone have any ideas, as this is bugging me now..
Cheers
ChrisHi
Further to my previous posting I am wondering if maybe the reset script has set the dehydration store to use file persistence and not database persistence.
Does anyone know which config files determine this?
I really need some help on this as otherwise it may have to be a re-install which will be annoying.
Thanks
Chris
