ESB integration with OBPM 10g

Hi all,
Is it possible to integrate ESB with Oracle BPM 10g?
If so, can anyone help me out on the steps for integration?
Regards,
Alice

Thanks Chintan, I think the problem is the needed patch 6133448. I have MLR#9 deployed but I think it does not include 6133448 and I can't install 6133448 as it conflict with MLR#9.
I will check with Oracle.
Thanks
Kish

  • CCX7.0 Database Integration with Oracle 10g through ODBC

    Good Day…
We are up to integrate CCX7.0 with Oracle 10g, CCX7.0 documents show the way to integrate the CCX7.0 with SQL server, but mention nothing about Oracle 10g, anyway...
I tried to check the ODBC options, there were many options, I tried to select any Oracle related choice, just to find out Oracle should supply the driver for it. In the forums, people say it’s an Oracle Client, but what will this client do? Am I going to connect though it to the oracle database server or is it going to query the database to my CCX server? What am I going to use in this case, user DSN or system DSN?
If there any tips or recommendations I will be grateful, as it is my first database integration.
    Thanks

    Hi Aaron
Thanks Aaron for the information, and yes you are right, I am not a database person.
I have here some questions, sorry if some of them sounds silly
    1)       Is there a certain Oracle Client version? or and Oracle Client will work for me?
    2)       Do you recommend system DSN on user DSN?
    3)       “…. available to any device on the system” as you said in your reply, what do you mean by "device" and "system"? Sorry, but this will help to clear the picture to me
    4)       What will this Oracle Client exactly do? Is it going to build an SQL table on my CCX server that query the information from the Oracle Server?
    5)       My customer has already implemented database integration with IPCC3.5, how can I check the current configuration of the Oracle Client, and what things else should I check before proceeding with the integration?
The reason I want to understand this because there is a lot of database integration is requested from us, the CCX scripts can be used to query data from SQL tables, I read a lot about this –waiting for the implementation phase- the lucky me, the first integration I faces is with Oracle.
Anyway, who said learning is easy.
Thanks Aaron for your time, waiting your answers.

Can somebody please post links to the documentation for ESB to Oracle Service Registry integration for dynamic endpoint lookup. I was able to do it with BPEL but same steps are not working for ESB.

  • Check out TopLink integration with JDeveloper 10g

I just thought you might want to get a look at the upcoming integration of TopLink and Oracle JDeveloper 10g.
You can download the JDeveloper 10g preview now and play with it.
    See demo: http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/viewlets/905p_adf_toplink/toplinkEditor_viewlet_swf.html
    and follow the tutorial:
    http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/collateral/prodtour10g.html

    John,
"1) When I did this last step, it created a new set of 'Offline Database Objects'. It would be nice not to have to redirect the new classes at my original objects or create a new diagram from the new objects. (I would like to bae able to get rid of one set of Database Objects.)"Currently, you are running into the issue since you already have offline tables that you are using to create online tables. You then are creating Java objects from online tables. Each time you create Java Objects from online tables, offline tables are created and cached with the project; the generator is not smart to recognize whether these tables exist offline.
That's a great suggestion and we already have this under consideration for future release. What you are asking is the ability to generate Java Objects from offline tables.
    2) The Database Objects that were created when I generated the classes all have the schema name prepended. My original Database Objects have the 'package' prepended. I would like my Java classes to map to unqualified tablenames.Another great suggestion; we have already taken this into consideration for this release.
Also, can I model sequences for my tables and have those automatically generated along with the tables and constraints? You can always create a SEQUENCE table offline or online (on the database; see connections tab) in Jdeveloper and then use it in the TopLink mapping editor with your data model. Let me know if you need more info on it.
Is there a place I can modify the default datatype to java type mappings? For example, what if I would prefer my classes to be generated with BigDecimal attributes instead of Double? Yet another great suggestion, we will keep it in mind for future release.

  • XML Publisher is not integrating with Reports 10g Concurrent program

    Hello,
I created report in reports 10g. Saved report in the custom_top/reports/US. Created a concurrent program for the report with output as XML. Created a Data Definition with the same short name as the concurrent program and created a template used the same short name as the Data Definition, associated template with the data definition. Uploaded the .rtf file to the template.
The issue i have is when i run the concurrent program the output is xml tags rather than the xml publisher report.
    Any help will be appreciated.

  • Weblogic 9.2 ESB integration with Websphere MQ 6.0 throws MQJMS1016

    Hi
We have setup a Websphere MQ integration where we have a weblogic server as the client.
The MQ setup is a clean MQ installation no WAS is installed.
              Here are the MQ information
              OS: Windows 2003 R2 Entreprise Edition SP1
              MQ:
              Name: WebSphere MQ
              Version: 6.0.2.1

              EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from b00011100938 (10.11.64.5) over TCP/IP.
This may be due to a communications failure.
              ACTION:
The return code from the TCP/IP (recv) call was 10054 (X'2746'). Record these
values and tell the systems administrator.
If anyone have some input/help concerning this problem. That would really be great

    - The NullPointerException looks like its being generated due to some sort of bug in MQ, so you might have some luck by contacting IBM and/or ensuring your MQ version has all the latest patches.
              - The error is being reported by WLI, which has its own newsgroup - so you might try posting there. I'm guessing that WLI tries to recover from the MQ error by closing down and re-establishing its connections to MQ.

  • ESB integration with oracle soa

Hi , Some one could please help me to integrate sonic esb with oracle soa using jms adapter ?

    Hi,
Have you created a foreign destination?
A Foreign Destination resource in a JMS module represents either a queue or a topic. It contains the destination JNDI name that is looked up on the foreign JNDI provider and the JNDI name that the destination is mapped to on the local WebLogic Server.

  • Portal integration with E-Business and Discoverer 10g

    Hello Everyone,
We have a R12 integrated with SSO/OID. We also have a standalone Oracle BI Discoverer 10g. We want to implement Oracle Portal here. One of the requirements of this project is to have a common home page for both E-Business Suite login as well Discoverer access. Right now E-Business Suite login is seperate and Discoverer home page is seperate (because it comes from a Standalone installation)
    1) What are the benefits of having AS Portal 10g for end users ?
    2) To begin with, we would like to go with the minimum portlets.
    3) Is it possible to have a common home page for both E-Biz access and the Discoverer acess after Portal integration ?
    4) Do you have some screenshots of how things look after Portal integration
    -Thanks
    Srinivas

    Hi,
    take a look in metalink Note:313418.1. :
"Using Discoverer 10.1.2 with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i"
Look in section 6 - post installation.
Follow the steps and have a very good luck.

  • OBPM integration with Documentum

    Hi,
I have to do integration of OBPM with Documentum. I have search on internet about Documentum.but found nothing.
Do anyone have idea , how to implement this?
    Thanx,
    Vinit.

    Hi Prashanth,
Document Content Server and Caching Server version 5.x can be easily integrated
with WLP81. DCTM has implemented the integration and you should look for "Documentum
Content Services for Weblogic" on their site. This basically ties the DCTM systems
to the Virtual Content Repository in WLP. At that point you can interact with
DCTM from portal tools, get content in and out, and navigate the content.

  • OBIEE 10g integration with mapviewer

    hello all,
i am trying integrate mapviewer map in obiee dashboard. and i am able to show maps which do not use bi answers data for any kind of interaction (i.e,no "nsdp" section in the map file). this works fine. if i am using any dashboard prompt to filter the map ( for example if want to see a particular county from a statewide map using dashboard prompt as filter) it is giving error as below:
*[MVThemeBasedFOIControl.foiLoaded] MAPVIEWER-05523: Cannot process response from MapViewer server. (MAPVIEWER-06009: Error processing an FOI request.*
Root cause:FOIServlet:Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1)
there are two databases with same set of data. one is poc which was created by some one else. so we had to setup new schema to properly define all the data.
so problem occurs when using new schema as datasource. all the html datasource configurations are properly defined on mapviewer for new data.
followed these steps in setting up new schema:
->initially did not run any scripts nor created mvdemo , started clean and loaded the required tables using map builder from GIS shape files with geometry projected to world_mercator(54004). on the contrary POC schema two geometry columns in each table where one is actual coordinate system from GIS file and then it is projected to world_mercator system and loaded into second column using sql. all the geometry indexes looked similar.
->created all the mapping metadata exactly same as the POC. where all the themes uses world_mercator geometry.
both schemas are on same database. i have no idea of what causing the error when i use dashboard prompts. i am not sure if there are additional steps to be followed in creating database or if something else is missing some where. i have no prior experience with mapviewer and oracle spatial. this is kind of learning curve for me.
please let me know any suggestions or solutions .

    Hello,
Is your environment similar to this in http://obiee-bip.blogspot.com/2010/10/obiee-integration-with-oracle-access.html or something different like diid you have create groups in OAM .?
Also assuming your repository groups and presentation catalog groups are already setup. In the different authorization init block you have created enable the ‘Required for Authentication’ check box.
NOTE: According to Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) Integration [ID 1217103.1]
Creation of group should be done by loging as Administrator user to rpd and webcat. This should be done on different machine that does not have OAM integration. With OAM integration only OAM user can log into presentation services and they don’t have Administrator user privileges.
Hope this helps. Pls mark if it does.
    Thanks,
    SVS

  • Error with ALBPM 10g / JAX-WS and WebLogic 10g

    Folks/People/Community:
I have an application client running over weblogic 10g. This application needs to be integrated with an external WebServices running under ALBPM 10g and implemented using jax-ws.
So far our application client running in standalone mode outside the weblogic server works without problems. But, running inside WebLogic 10g the application cannot establish connection with this external webservice and the exception is attached here. Also I'm sending our client source code.
Please, do you know if WebLogic 10g requires special configurations in order to enable this type of communication?. We have other applications already integrated with other WebService providers without problems so far today. Only this interface is failing and honestly I don't know what is the problem.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help!.

  • Questions on OBPM 10g features

    Hi,
Can OBPM 10g integrated with Oracle BRE?
I want to define my business rules in Oracle BRE and access them from BPM 10g process. Please give me directions on how to achieve this? I know that in 10g there is an internal rules creation based on the project variables. But my requirement is to keep the business rules in the external Oracle BRE and access them from BPM 10g process.
    Thanks in advance

If you're using Oracle Business Rules 11g then they are exposed as a web service that can be invoked by Oracle BPM 10 directly once the WSDL is introspected. If it's Oracle Business Rules 10, then you need to add a BPEL wrapper and then invoke the BPEL as a web service.

  • Discoverer integration with EBS R12 !!!

    Hello Sir,
I need help to install/integrate Discoverer with R12.
Actually, our clients are using Discoverer 4i in current EBS 11.5.10.2 in production. We have just upgraded EBS in TEST environment from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.3.
I had suggested client that Discoverer 4i is actually de-supported and they need to upgrade Discoverer version to minimum 10.1.2.3 or higher to integrate it with R12.1.3.
Now, client also have requirement for Discoverer to be certified with MS Excel 2010 format. So I have suggested to upgrade Discoverer version to minimum 11.1.1.4.
Latest certified Discoverer version is 11.1.1.7.0 as per note Using Discoverer 11.1.1 with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 1074326.1)
    1) Can you please provide your opinion and any documentation which I can follow to install/integrate Discoverer with R12 ?
    2) Do I need to first install separate 10gAS for installing Discoverer 10.1.2.3 or Fusion middleware home for installing Discoverer 11g ? If yes, where can I find doc for this installation ?
    3) Since 10g support has ended July 2013, where can I get media for installing 10gAS ?
    4) Is there any additional licences required for using either Discoverer 10g or Discoverer 11g ?

    1) Can you please provide your opinion and any documentation which I can follow to install/integrate Discoverer with R12 ?
In addition to the doc you have, please see:

    3) Since 10g support has ended July 2013, where can I get media for installing 10gAS ?
You can download WebLogic 10.3.6 from WebLogic Server 12c (12.1.1), WebLogic Server 11g (10.3.6) and Previous Releases
    4) Is there any additional licences required for using either Discoverer 10g or Discoverer 11g ?

  • OIM 11.1.1.5.0 + BP03 Integration with BI Publisher 11.1.1.5.0

    Folks,
Has anyone been successful in integrating BIP 11.1.1.5.0 with OIM 11g? I have recently integrated BIP 11g with OIM11g for reporting. After doing all the necessary configurations as mentioned in the OIM 11g developers guide and BP03 read me document, I am able to see the reports structure in BIP. Also I could execute few of the reports like Access Policy details, Role membership etc. .
But none of the user reports are working. It always shows up a blank screen and no activity in logs either. I’m pretty sure that I have configured that BIP user properly and he has all the rights to execute the reports, in fact I have assigned all the available functional roles to the BIP user.
Has anyone of you faced such an issue earlier?
    Appreciate your support!
    Thanks
    Sid

    Hi Sidharth,
Instaed of BIP 11.1.1.5.0, go for BIP 10g, as it is certified with OIM 11.1.1.5. We integrated BIP 10g successfully.
    Hope this helps
