ESPN card re-activation

I've not been able to view ESPN for a few days now,when I turn to Ch 34 I get the please ensure your card is in the slot message, I phoned the help desk 2 days ago and was told that the card needs to be re-activated,I hung on for quite a some time while he tried to do it,he eventually gave up and said he would have to pass it up to a specialist team,nothing evident seems to be happening about it,there's no fault order number showing on my account etc.
Is anyone else having problems with viewing cards ?

    You don't want a WEP based network.  Those are easily cracked.  If your network is WEP, it may have already been cracked, and someone changed the password.  Change it to WPA2.  If you are stuck with an 802.11b device on the network, hook it up via ethernet based 802.11g or better wireless/ethernet router.

    Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

  • ESPN Card still working even though I am now on fl...

    As above my espn card is still working even though I no longer have a pack on. Phoned up to be told I am not been billed for it. Can a mod help get this turned off or confirm to me I am not been billed for it.
    My on demand now has charges next to it so that part is correct its just the espn channel is still operating when it shouldn't be.

  • ESPN CARD ACTIVATION / OUTAGE.

    I tried to watch ESPN football on Sat 10th March but the screen prompted me by saying my card needed to be activated. I followed the instructions but after 5 ninutes  the prompt came back onto my screen. So I decided to ring the "help" desk, now this is where it gets confusing. I followed what they told me to do and all was ok for about 5 minutes when once again the promt came back onto my screen. Once again I called the "help" desk only to be told a different way of re-activating my card and also that there is an "outage" on ESPN which will be completed in 24 hours. I left the ESPN channel until Sunday afternoon and gave it another try. Guess what I am still seeing the prompt message, back on the phone to the "help" desk. Again I insructed to reset my box/card another way and the operative guaranteed that this would work and the problem fixed. I told the operativr that I wouldn't hold my breath. 5 minutes later guess what appeared, yes the same screen promt that has been haunting me. So once again I called ther "help" desk and after a chat I was told the there was NO OUTAGE on ESPN and my fault would have to be passed to the special faults dept, this will take up to 48 hours.
    It would have been more professional if I had been told the truth in the first place about there being no problem with an "outage" and I would be 24 hours nearer having my ESPN back online, or would I?
    So can anyone tell me why, when or how this fault will be rectified and I will be able to view ESPN.

  • Itunes card not activated and noone seem to be able to belp

    I have been dealt with 8 different people.
    I tried activating my itunes card through online process back in Dec 16, 2013. Follow# 304731545 - junayed, nothing from him until
    Jan 3- i emailed for update - "Your inquiry is very important to me, so I have requested assistance with the issue you reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available."
    Jan 4- " I wanted to send a quick note to see if you are still experiencing any difficulties with the iTunes Store. Resolving your issue is important to me, so please don't hesitate to reply if you need any further assistance."
    THAT WASN'T MY ISSUE.... THE ITUNES CARD BEING NOT ACTIVATED NOT THE ITUNES STORE. I replied advising him again what issue is and sent him AGAIN all the attachments he needed.
    Jan 6 - "Jaimy, we are sorry for the inconvenience. As per the Apple policy, we are unable to process your query any further. I would like to request you to contact the Apple store from where you have received the gift card." (I did in jan 10th)
    - the same day i called explained my situation and was transfered 554529946 - chanile, she was nice seemed she was trying to help me but we got cut off. She didnt call me although she knew my number.
    I called again 554616314 (didnt get his name was again nice) advised to make another claim online.
    So I did 308483126- ajitesh. Submitted the receipt and picture of the card.

    Jan 10 - finally decided to go to the store (45 mins away with the winter driving conditions). I asked  a guy to help and i was directed to someone else. I believe his name was scott. Told him my situation. He said he cannot help because it was outside the 30 day from purchase. Adv to call because nothing he can do, he didnt even bother to look into my situation.
    Jan 11 - i called, spoke to a lady, about 40 mins later i was transfered to a gentleman. All in all 53 mins later, online is the only way to go about resolving this. Even thought Junayed had already said he cannot do anything and go to the store.
    I am so helpless and disappointment at the level of customer service. The effort i have to put in to getting an issue resolved.
    Noone seem to know how to help me other than "online" when the "online" had asked me to go to the store, which then advised me to call, which then advised me back to go "online"
    Can anyone help??????

    We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
    If the store that you bought it from can't/won't help then only iTunes Support can potentially do so. When you've been contacting online support you've been referring to your case numbers and what you've been told each time ?

    You can use the Tab key to select a search engine on the bottom bar and press Enter to use the search engine to do the search.

    In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
    This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.

    i visted the apple store today my phone comes up with the screen saying plug into itunes when i tried that on my own laptop it wont find the phone just comes up saying sim not activated but when the guy plugged it into the stores laptop my phone worked and came back on as normal and he said just need to restore the settings so when i went on to my laptop it is coming up saying sim not acctivated again and with screen saying plug into itunes cant make phone call or texts so annoying any1 any ideas? guy did say could be the anti virus on the laptop stopping the proccess xx
